Well, right about now, a lot of NBA fans are secondguessing themselves, thinking, “Maybe I don’t know as much as I thought I did.” Who would have guessed that the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Boston Celtics would all be losing in the second round? Yeah, not quite. The Celtics losing actually does surprise me, but I’ve been riding Denver and the Pacers. I said it before both these series started and as we get set to see the Cavs as a big favorite in game four on the road at Indiana. Are the dogs still barking? We’re going to talk about it. Uh, the results in the NBA the past week, despite the fact that I’ve been all over these dogs, haven’t been great. Just up a tiny bit in the playoffs this year. The total sits at 231. Donovan Mitchell 43 points on 14 of 29 shooting. Supporting cast didn’t do a lot though. A lot of those guys came back from injury. Uh didn’t really do enough to convince me that Cleveland is actually back in this series. The Cavs bench just two of 11 from three-point range. And Tyrese Hallebertton stunk it up. Four points on two of eight shooting. Apparently, not everybody appreciated his celebration after game two where he did this. And I think that was a suggestion that he’s wellendowed. He certainly didn’t appear to be in game three, but he might look more like himself in game four at home. Uh the Pacers had the fifth best home record in the NBA. They’ve got the depth. They’ve got five starters that can all score 20 points at any given time. And Hallebertton can only be better than he was in the last game. I like Hallebertton to go over nine and a half assists. And yeah, I I think if you’ve been betting the favorites, you really got to reexamine whether or not the team that you think is the better team is actually the better team. I said I like the Pacers before this series started. Uh I like what I’ve seen so far, and I’m going to keep riding the Indiana Pacers.
