So, the Bulls only have a 1.7% chance at the first overall pick in the draft, but that is exactly the same chances they had when they won the draft lottery and got Derrick Rose in 2008. We are so, so close to finding out the final draft order. 600 p.m. Central, Monday, May 12th. We are almost there. So, it’s a long shot for the Bulls to land the first overall pick and get Cooper Flag, but they do also have an 8% chance to land in the top four overall. And there are a lot of good prospects at the top of this year’s class. We know Cooper Flag, there’s Dylan Harper, Colin Murray Boils, VJ Edgecomb, and even when you get further down, if the Bulls don’t land a top four pick, further down in the order, there’s going to be players like Derek Queen and Common Malawatch. I don’t want to get ahead of myself. We’re going to see what happens when we find out the final draft order. And then we’ll come back here and we’ll discuss who might be available. Remember the draft isn't everything. Euro league and NBL are full of current franchise level players some a lot younger than college players. We have a bunch of NBA scouts liking what they see in Australia. And Scottie Pippen has close ties to coaches here (he was even rumoured to wanting to coach an NBL team).
I hope the bulls get the first draft pick but I don't think it will happen
