Inside the NBA REACTS to Thunder vs Nuggets Game 4 Highlights

pain, Ernie. Sure. Okay. That goal was not good. Was it a bad beat? It was a bad beat. OKC in Denver playing game four. Nuggets up two-1 in the series. And in the first quarter, OKC scored 17 points. Denver scored eight. Eight points in the first quarter. Two of 22 shooting. 0 for 14 from three. You obviously won’t be in many games like that. And for the Denver Nuggets, they have to get the Joker some help. Need you need you Jamal Murray to step up. Need you Michael Porter Jr. to step up. How about that? 25 points combined in the first quarter. My son, that was a nice catcho to Hartin SGA. You know what, Chuck and uh Jaylen, this was the first time that I watched Joker and SGA play at a faster play pace than they’re accustomed to. I thought that when I watching the game offensively, it was quick twitch muscles for Joker instead of those gross moving slower muscles. That’s Christian Brown. When you’re struggling, they both are struggling. You kind of they mind is sped up right now. Yes. Yes. Joker. Well, can the three he is behind the line and at the half we still had a game. It was 42 to 36 at the half. OKC and Denver on the third quarter. Yeah. 33-21. Murray for three. And then Jaylen Aaron Gordon with all day. He’s been terrific these playoffs. to gave him a double double today. Takes his time. Lines up to three. Bang bang. They hit seven out of 11 threes in the third quarter. Joker again. And then Russell Westbrook and the Nuggets would take a six-point lead to the fourth quarter at home trying to go up 3-1. But an 11 to nothing run by the Thunder would give them the lead for keeps. OKC got to get a chance to get Jaylen Williams going. Boy, it was guys like Wiggins and Kase Wallace who hit big threes. They did, but they they they got to get Jaylen going. They’re going to win this thing. So, it’s a three-point game and the Nuggets can’t get the ball in bounds out of a timeout. 5second violation. Had a chance to cut the lead to one, but instead SGA makes. If you notice, each of SGA’s highlights mid-range, turning over both shoulders, effective and efficient. That’s how you lead the league in the storm. He did what closers do. Nine points in the fourth quarter and the Thunder win it 92- 87. tie this series up at two games a piece. After the game, Mark Dagnald talking about uh the effort he saw out of SGA. I always marvel at his ability to get himself back to zero after every single game. The last guy you’re worried about bouncing back um from a tough shooting night like he had the other night is him. And he delivered big time for us down the stretch. I always feel like those are the moments where the guy on the team earns his buck. You earn your money. you you close games, you win games, and that’s what that’s what everything’s about, winning games, and the later you go in the season, the better the teams, the more the closer the games. Um, and you need to rise to the occasion. Joker just appeared to be fatigued at the end. What are you guys doing well just in teamwork to kind of force him into a bad shooting night again? It’s mostly my job to defend him one-on-one, but again, I don’t think my teammates are leaving me on the island. He’s going to make tough shots and you just kind of have to mentally live with that. But I think in general we’re doing a great job of swarming um rotating the right way and executing the game plan. They’re playing really good defense on me. They’re they’re really uh into my body handsy uh physical um and some I I think I missed like two three open looks tonight. So it’s a little bit of everything, you know. I need to do a better job of course, but it’s part of the game. What are you seeing that you guys are doing defensively uh to affect him? I’m not sure. Uh we have to keep doing it if we want to win. a sly grin at the end of uh that comment by SGA. Uh wow, that’s amazing. That last stat on Joker. Yeah, less than 40% in three straight games. Yeah. Uh, like I said, I thought the NBA didn’t do them any favors making them play the afternoon game after late Friday night game, but Denver don’t play enough players that got him last year in the playoffs. Joker basically has to and Joker’s situation is unique. He has to play great for the Nuggets to win. Now, they need Jamal and Aaron Gord and all those guys to play well, but because he’s the number one scoring guy, number one rebounding guy, and number one assist guy, there’s no other player. Can you imagine another player in the history of basketball? Well, LeBron did used to do that, but he he wasn’t getting that many rebound. Yeah, LeBron was LeBron was not uh get that Chamberlain did. Uh, but I’m just saying I’ve never seen a guy uh LeBron’s obviously great, but I’m just saying this guy has to do so much and what what what uh OKC is doing. They playing the other Jaylen Williams. He using all six of his files. Henstein’s a stud defensively and then you got he has to chase Chad around sometime. He he’s asked to do a lot. Yeah. I I you know what someone when I I would said it one of my friends text me he’s like what do you mean speeding them up and fine and motor skills and all what does that mean so if you ever watch the Joker you watch or you watch uh Luca when you say a gross motor skill they the ball that means moves in big movements so that means it moves slower and because they’re able to dissect but now it’s in fine motor skills it’s more like he’s fast like twitch muscle So, I’ve never seen him play with a in that speed. And that is what I think Oklahoma City is doing to him more than I’ve ever seen anyone else do to him is play at a fine motor skill. Everything is moving the ball is quicker. That’s more quick twitch instead of No, I’m big. LeBron does that. He’s big and he’s moves it. He takes his time when he wants to. Uh, you know what’s interesting too about this when when you look at this series going in Denver number one in the league points in the paint, number one in the league, fast break points, getting crushed in those categories by OKC. OKC is younger, faster, deeper, and seem to be more hungry. And for the Nuggets, you’re exactly right. When the Joker’s on the floor, they’re the best offensive team in the league. When he’s not on the floor, they’re the worst offensive team in the league. And I think now that they’ve run into a team like OKC that can make the Joker play in the crowd, Harderstein could give him some good minutes as Charles just mentioned. Jay Will could give him some good minutes on him, but he’s going to need help and Jamal Murray’s have to have an explosive game. We’ve seen him do it before in the past. Michael Porter Jr. isn’t giving him much these last couple of games. He’s dealing with a shoulder injury. I just don’t think they have enough against a better OKC team. Yeah, and you look at that uh you look at that Joker assist category, that’s always interesting. only three in this game tonight. Guys aren’t making shots. Well, they aren’t making shots, but I’ve always told you I would never double the Joker. Uh I wouldn’t cuz he I think instead of him, he’d rather score he’d rather have 15 assists than score 35 40 points. That’s just my personal belief because those guy those guys need him to get off. like they’re they’re not guys that you can just get a ball to and say score. Like Michael Porter Jr. is a terrific shooter, but he he gets 90% of his shots are wide open. Aaron Gordon has made himself a really good shooter, but he probably know to get another six points a game on lobs from the Joker. But Jaylen has a great point. The one guy has got to be [Music] is Congratulations on your award. Now get off the stage. I hate y’all so much. Game five will be Tuesday in OKC. Joker on eggs and bacon. Living in America. Apollo Creed. Mr. We miss you, Carl Weathers. Rest in peace, Rocky. That’s the best sports movie of all time. What about Remember the Titans? No, not Rocky, man. Rocky. Remember Titans? What about Major League? Major League. Yeah. Come on, man. Let’s knock it off, Chuck.

  1. SGA Mvp, it should be back to back but d.e.i award last season and nba trying to be like nfl move the goal pole and wait to announce Mvp. Okc 3-1 vs Den last season. Refs tried to help Den cut replays on fouls and Jay bilas is hating announcing the game.

  2. They ought to have shown the call stats from the refs and lopsided officiating. Its clear the nba higher ups want a celtics vs okc finals.

  3. Jokic is the only one who wants to win. Of course he screamed at Porter bc Porter is fuking soft and inconsistent!! Jamal is never consistent, so only Jokic plays for real, the rest are soft bums. Too bad. I feel sorry for Jokic, but the Nuggets are done.

  4. It's not about speeding Jokić or something similar. It's about team that don't have bench. Denver is playing, last two season especially in play offs games with 7 or 8 players against really good and deep teams. 10 years without missing more then 5 to 8 games per season and being the leader in all categories it's unreal. I am not glazing. He is not good ream protector and he is slow but imagine if he is on this level plus speed and all others athletic abilities. It wouldn't be fair 😉. So it's all about the team. The only two players that win the championships almost alone were Brayant and Leonard especially. But you can see what is left from Kawaii from that year. If I am on Jokić place I would let go this series. And if they win he especially is going to be gassed and Minesota would win 4 – 1.

  5. This was hard to watch 👈🏼 obviously. . We Know the refs Still gave OKC favorable calls especially SGA . . Even though Denver didn't shoot well today. . .

  6. Charles Barkley clearly never watched Giannis since he’s saying he never saw someone have to lead in pts assist and rebounding. He also plays d tho

  7. Nuggets blew this game. I swear players forget they can drive the ball, maybe shoot a floater if you can't get a layup smh

  8. Yall calling this "good basketball" just proves how bad this sport is. Worst officiating of any sport. Yall dumb af

  9. This one is simple: Denver could not make a single 3-pts shot. If you go 0-9 from range for long stretches, you deserve to lose. Jokic could not buy a bucket. He was missing everything.

  10. OKC didn't play amazing this game…the Nuggets just weren't able to capitalize on it.

Been a great series so far tho, close games.

  11. I'm loving these 90s NBA scores lately. Force these softie kids to play some actual hardnosed basketball instead of jacking up 100 threes a game.

  12. Charles was glazing out of control and had to be checked 😅 how'd he forget about LeBrons Cleveland run pre Kyrie 😮? Pure hate is all that was 😅

  13. lol ole hating a$$ Charles can never give Lebron his credit. Lebron built his early career doing exactly what joker has to do for his team to win

  14. This game was a hard watch. They set a record for lowest score on the first quarter and ut wasn't because of great defense. I can't count how many times I saw somebody chunk up a three pointer with 20 seconds left on the shot clock.

  15. the REAL MVP we ALL KNOW who its is

    saw the game !
the free throws sga gets are RIDICILOUS!!!!!!! NOT ONE SINGLE FOUL WAS MADE!!!!!!!!

  16. Times like these they really miss Mike Malone's experienced coaching. Adelman's coaching is creating hardly any movement and they are not adjusting well to OKC's defense. The first game, Hartenstein and Holmgren picked up 11 fouls trying to guard him. Instead of going back to that, Joker has instead put up like 20 threes over the last two games. An experienced coach would not allow that. Locker room culture or not, you do not fire an experienced coach right before the playoffs

  17. The disrespect on the Nuggets is ridiculous. The series is tied at 2-2, and they acting like it’s over. Nuggets are gonna win this series

  18. Thank you Kenny for pointing out Wilt Chamberlain’s greatness. This mainstream sports folks rarely if ever do that. It’s usually always LeBron this or Jordan that.
