I think a lot of the concern surrounding Dumars is that he's seen as a conservative, establishment choice by conservative ownership. There is not high confidence that a guy who is a decade+ removed from his last (very mixed) tenure as a GM is going to be current with where the league is today. There seems to be persistent resistance from many former players and traditional execs to embracing the modern, analytics-driven NBA. They pay it lip service but don't really commit. Same for Coach Green. Feels like a coaching/management team better suited to a previous era. Hard for old dogs to learn new tricks…
The amount of glazing after a horrendous season seems a bit much. Especially, when saying that Joe isn't looking for a" job"… When he interviewed when Griff got the job back in 2019.
Love these guys but they work for the Pelicans. Of course they can't tell the truth. People need to stay away until the ownership is changed. Willie Green should have been gone.
I looking forward to see what kind of relationship he builds with Zion. Trey can't get us to a championship. I can't wait to see what he does with zion. If he let's him go. No more watching the NBA again.
Do not trade zion
Zion is not hurt, they just set him because they was starting to tank and they seen all they wanted from him. They said he was hurt, but he wasn't hurt they just didn't want to be penalized by the league.
I would think dejounte Murray would benefit from Joe Dumars since his game has been slipping the last season and someone who prided themselves on defense
Do not trade Zion and do not restrict his minutes. DG was way too careful with Zion. Let the young guy play! And play through injuries

I am more concerned with the Draft picks and who stays on the roster. I really like Tyon Grant Foster from GCU and Egor Denim. I would love to see a tall PG, like lamelo step in soon. Especially one that can feed Z. I also see huge potential in Brandon Boston, more so than Herb and Tre. He is a great facilitator. I'm ecxited, but a bit nervous with the future of this team. A decent big is very important at this time. Love Carlos, not sure about M. It really boils down to the chemistry, and especially a leader stepping into the roster. A natural leader, I real see Grant Foster as a solid mature leader!
If they get rid of zion its a deliberate sabotage..
Why is NOBODY talking about the accountability of the medical staff for this organization?!?!? This team has the MOST injuries of any team in the NBA!!! Stop talking fluff and let’s talk about the REAL issues!!
Don't trade Zion,this would be the wrong time to trade him..He's FINALLY getting older now and learning how to take care of his body..Why would y'all wanna trade him now? It would be a stupid move..We been with Z this long might as well roll with him his last few yrs..
