This team is just absolutely, pathetic and soft. It’s almost impossible to understand. Just 0 toughness in ANY of those players. Atleast I now know to keep my expectations incredibly low.
Need to stop drafting and trading for soft players. Garland, Allen, and Wade should be shopped after the playoffs. You also can't have 2 small guards when it gets tough in the playoffs. The Pacers are full of tough guys, i can't really point out one soft player on their team. This is nothing that Kenny can teach, gotta go get some dawgs for next year and get rid of the non-serious players. If we traded Garland and kept Sexton and Markennen, we'd be in much better shape.
"They came out with more force, they were dominant, they were more aggressive, their physicality", bla bla bla. Same answer, different game. Physicality and defense don't have "off nights". It boils down to the mindset, starting from the top, in the playoffs. Coach is not hard enough on these guys. Too much lacking to mention. I hope this isn't a rerun of the 90's team that was great on paper and the regular season, but couldn't win championships. Bring back Fratello. Total embarrassment.
Gotta slow down when they are like 5-10 points ahead. Calming the game makes it tougher for pacers. Take as much seconds possible so they can’t move ahead to much

I think you'll see some roster changes this offseason. I've had enough of Wade, Okoro, and I'm not sure this dual big thing or smallish guards are the answer. Cavs have to move Mobley to the 5 and maybe see what we can get for Allen. I doubt Jerome will be back but could easily see Strus assume his role. Move Hunter to the 3 and get some rugged dude to play the 4. Might take trading Mitchell or Garland to get a big, athletic wing.
This isn't on Kenny. These players have no heart. Everyone is banged up at this point in the playoffs, so that's no excuse. The players man. They gave up on the season.
