Joe Cronin Media Availability | 2025 NBA Draft Lottery | Portland Trail Blazers
So Joe, obviously not the result that you were hoping for, but how are you feeling coming off this? Feel good. Um, of course you always want to move up, but this is a draft that we like. We like the depth of it. There’s good players all throughout the lottery, so we’ll be just fine where we landed. Do you have you have a lot of guys at the in the in the 10 11 range that you would feel comfortable with? I think so. You know, as we study this more and more, it’s looking um like it’s quality throughout. So, I think depth, you know, it looks good at the top of course, but the depth is also a strong suit. How does it compare, do you think, to where you guys kind of ended up last year, like the strength of, you know, the the seven range last year versus um well, Donovan’s somebody that we were really high on and continue to be. So, I don’t I I hope we find another player that’s at level. Um, but we’ll do our best. This draft is looking like there could be guys that could be impactful just like he was. Are you obviously you’re going to explore all the options between now and draft night? But is this are you going into this, you know, planning on taking a play or are you thinking about, you know, looking at the trade market, see what the pick can get you or is you just kind of open to whatever? Always want to be open-minded. You know, we’ll do our due diligence, do a lap around the league and see see what’s available. But, you know, we’ll also focus heavily on okay, this player is a, you know, another addition that we can make to this team. Since you guys, now this is the last one, but since you guys, as you said, after the season, you guys are kind of more in the mode of like trying to, you know, be competitive and take the next step and you’re not just like purely rebuilding and stockpiling talent now. Are you thinking at that spot looking maybe more at fit or opposed to just like pure best player available, best talent available? You know, what what your approach is sir? Always hope to approach and go through the draft taking best player available. You know, I I I hope we don’t deviate. Um, but you know, need need is on our mind. Like we think about, okay, what what exact types of guys do we need to add? But I think the draft is mostly, you know, grab the best player available and then figure it out after that.

Rigged, nico made a deal with the commissioner to get coop
Good job joe
If it wasnβt rigged, itβll do until the rigging gets here
Can we make the playoffs next season so we donβt have to deal with the stupid lottery
Rigged. Dallas doesn't deserve this
Gonna be a quality rotation player at 11 this year, maybe even better. Itβs a good draft.
Definitely smells fishy.
