NBA Draft Lottery 2025 Live
[Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Hey, hey, hey. [Music] [Music] Today is an absolutely monumental day in the NBA. It is the 2025 NBA draft lottery and we are here to break it down, unveil who will be picking in the top three, in the top 10 of the 2025 NBA draft. I am Nick Roloff and I did not mean to overstate the importance of today as it being a monumental day. But that is truly where this stands because you can pinpoint the exact time when the NBA landscape changes. It changed when the Spurs got Victor Wemyama. And I believe we will have yet another change in terms of the NBA to whatever team has the right to be able to draft the Duke forward Cooper Flag. You can debate who has been the best prospect over the last decade with people like Flag Wemby Zion Williamson Carl Towns and more coming out of the draft. But it’s an important day and as Giannis trade rumors continue to loom as well. Could the lottery standings impact that? What if Philly gets the number one pick? What if the Spurs, who have two cracks at it, get the number one pick? How does that change the Giannis Anton Ko trade talks? How does that impact the NBA in the future as well as the draft? It’s going to be a lot of fun here and I’m glad everybody’s with us hanging out. We got 26 minutes until we allegedly start the draft lottery. You never know with those fellas over at ESPN whether it’s actually going to be the 700 p.m. Eastern time start or is it going to really start at 7:15. But either way, 26 minutes until the top of the hour. Shout out your city for me down in the comments section. Where are the people tuning in from? It’s going to be a lot of fun. Like I said, my name’s Nick Roloff here. Been spearheading the NBA draft coverage for Chat Sports since 2023. It’s been a lot of fun. This will be our third draft here as me leading that. Going to be very excited. I think it’s going to be the most fun one to date because when you look at the top three or the last three drafts, including this one, so 23 to 25, you could argue who the best prospect is, it’s probably. I’d put Cooper flag, too. But in overall terms of depth, I mean, this draft class is just absolutely loaded. The lottery is going to be filled with talent at that can be all-stars, all NBA, key reserves, role players. It’s got everything this draft class. I think without a doubt over the last three years, this one’s the best one. It’s going to be an absolute blast breaking it down. We’ll get into my top prospects here in a little bit. But shout out to Tyman in Ohio, Julian in Dallas, my guy Tyson in Miami, Kaden in Sou Falls, South Dakota. How about that? Sou Falls where the Miami Heats G-League team is. How about that? Only YouTube says Raptors win the lottery. Robert’s in Rhode Island. Shout out to Robert Bruce. Sean is in saying Wimpy is trash. I I don’t know if I could agree with that one. Danny Lewis says, “I think the Spurs get Cooper flag.” My guy Frank Nelson’s in the building saying, “Yo, what’s up, Frank?” Xand is in Alabama. Sports Geeks is saying the Sixers. Lando is in Minnesota. It is going to be a lot of fun. I am joined with my guy Cullen Brown here on NBA Draft lottery night. How are you doing, Cullen? Speak to the 250 people hanging out. What up? What up? What up, man? It’s NBA draft lottery time here in the next 30 minutes or so, or at least we hope. And man, I’m excited, man. The destination of who’s going to win, capture the flag, and get the number one overall pick. I’m pumped, man. I’m pumped. And I’ll tell you this, Colin, I’m couldn’t be more ecstatic with you. the conversation. It’s so fascinating around NBA fans. I can’t tell if they’re serious or not, but we ask this question every year and I get mixed results. I I want to know, do you guys think the NBA draft lottery is rigged? I think there is times where you can say it’s rigged, the Knicks with E-wing. I I’ll say this. If the Spurs win the lottery today, they’d have to jump up from number eight to number one or number 14 to number one. If either of their two picks jumps to number one pick, I truly do believe it would be rigged, but I I say it’s not rigged. I mean, you got the odds, you got the percentages, but I know some people like to say it is. So, let me know your thoughts. Is it rigged or not? Type R in the chat if you think it is. Type N if you think it’s not. Let us know. Let us know. And honestly, too, if you think it is rigged, let us know which would be the most rigged result of the NBA draft lottery tonight. Like, it’s clearly San Antonio without a question. If the Spurs get the number one pick, it’s rigged. Number two rigged would be uh Houston. Oo, I was going to throw in a different team, ironically, also from the state of Texas, the Dallas Mavericks. Oh, I like I got a lot of Heat fans. I got my Heat guys in here. As you know, I host the Heat Report. The Heat, if they miss the playoffs, would have had the 11th pick in the lottery. If the Mavericks move up into the top four or top one from the 11th spot, you will see a crash out Cullen that you have never seen before. But I see Tommy typing rigged. Jerel rigged. Michael saying no. Steve saying rigged. Maddo saying no. Twisted saying Raptors. Ty man saying rigged. Marshall rigged. Danny Lewis no. Carter says it would be rigged if the Mavs win. I guess we’ll have to see there. It be, you know, like I said, I’m crashing out if that happens. Twisted saying it’s rigged. Dalton saying it’s no. I saw someone ask if we’re staying live throughout the entire thing. Yeah, we’ll be live for about an hour here. So, we stay we went live at 5:30 central, 6:30 Eastern. The top of the hour is when we’ll see the lottery coverage start. And then in the 30 minutes between 700 p.m. Eastern, 7:30 p.m. Eastern before the Celtics Knicks game, they’ll announce the top 14 picks. And then right after that, we’ll probably sign off because I’m going to film a video um to push out on the channel, which is why you subscribe because we’ll do a post lottery mockdraft. Um it’ll be a lot of fun. But as it is rigged, I think these 14 teams, or I guess 13 teams have the chance to win the number one overall pick. Now, these are the odds and percentages to just receive the first overall pick. And the format has changed over and over and over the last like decade. Right now, as we currently stand, the top three teams all have the same percentage chance to win the lottery. That is be the Utah Jazz, Washington Wizards, and Charlotte Hornets. All with a 14% chance. They all did not finish with the same record, but that is how the NBA changed their system. Top three have the same odds. New Orleans has the fourth best odds at 12.5%. And then you see the slow descent all the way down to the Spurs at 7%. Some people might be asking, how do the Spurs have two picks in the lottery? This pick is courtesy of the Dejante Murray trade. It’s via the Atlanta Hawks. It was an unprotected first round pick. Now, I do also want to note here when it comes to picks being conveyed and not being conveyed. You see the Sacramento Kings there with a .08% chance to get the number one pick. They do not keep that pick if it stays in its current slot. Remember, this is the draft trades. We’ll show this one. Perfect. 13 or 14 goes to Atlanta, which is a 94% chance. So, the other 6% is if the Kings get into the top four, whether it goes to number one, number two, number three, or number four. If the Kings move up into the top four in the lottery, they keep their pick. If it stays at 13 or 14, that becomes the Atlanta Hawks. As we mentioned, a couple picks unprotected. The Suns pick, which is the number ninth odd, that goes to Houston. And then the last pick in the lottery, number 14, Atlanta, goes to San Antonio. And then also Philadelphia. They are currently in the five slot. If they stay inside the top six, they keep their pick. Currently projected to do so. If they get jumped twice or I guess three times, four times, whatever you want to say, that goes to OKC. So, it is really unlikely that the Thunder get a lottery pick, but there is a world. If two teams jump the Sixers at number five to get inside the top six, that pick then goes to OKC, which could cause chaos. That is for sure. So, after seeing the top odds for the lottery number one to earn the pick of Cooper Flag, which team will win the NBA draft lottery? Spam the team that you think ultimately wins it. I have my prediction. It’s more or less what I want to see happen. But before I say that, Colin, who do you think wins the line? See, I think we might have the same. And I don’t want to like jinx it, but it is the team that I picked. So, I’m going to roll with the Charlotte Hornets to win the NBA draft lottery. I think a combination of LaMelo Ball, uh, Brandon Miller, and Cooper Flag would be mustsee TV. And again, they’re tied for the best odds in the whole draft lottery. So, I’ll go with the Charlotte Hornets. Yeah, that is the team that I want to see win it. I have no dog in the fight and arguably I if I had a dog in the fight I would be rooting against Charlotte getting him because they are technically in my team’s division. Um even though divisions don’t matter in the NBA. They really don’t. Um but yeah I just am a big Brandon Miller guy. I had him as a 1B prospect to Wii in 2023. I caught some heat for that. Like I and it wasn’t me knocking Webby. It was just I was that high on Brandon Miller’s ability to be an allNBA type of player. and he’s had a good start to his career. Just a little bit of injuryprone early on. We’ll see if that changes. But personally, I think the Hornets could be a very fun team next year if they got Cooper Flag. I mean, you tell me you have LaMelo Ball as your third option offensively to Cooper Flag and Brandon Miller, who are two guys that can be a good little two-way duo at the three and four on their respective team. I would love to see those two pair up. You also have to be intrigued with the fit of him potentially getting the number one pick and going to Utah. I mean, you have a front court of Flag, Kesler, and Marketin. That’s interesting. Washington, who had the number one pick last year, they drafted Bub Carrington at 14, Alex Sar at number two. They had the number two pick, excuse me. Um, and then Keshan George late, you continue to add to that young core Bal Kabali as well with Cooper Flag. The Wizards would be fun, man. I I think there’s a lot of teams that can be fun. Now, I will be honest, and I’m sorry if I’m going to name your team here, but absolute doomfest if these teams win the lottery. I give the three teams, the Pelicans, and although they would have a good roster on paper, I’m over the Pelicans. The Nets and the Raptors do not send Cooper flag to any of those three teams. I’m begging. I I am begging. It would be kind of, you know, a little bit of a let down if Cooper flag were to be sent up to our neighbors up north of Canada. I’m not going to lie. Like, it’d be devastating. It it’d be a little bit of a buzzkill. It would be. Um I agree a lot of what you said, Roly. I’m going to give some shout outs in the chat, though. We got Jerry saying the Hornets. We got Caleb saying the Wizards. We got Thai man saying the Jazz. Daniel saying the Nets. Uh Carter saying the Pelicans would be fun. So, a little disagreement there. Uh and then Steuart says anyone but Philly. So, a lot of different opinions in the chat, man. I mean, it’s it’s going to be really interesting to see. I I’ll say this. I I’ve labeled out the teams I don’t want to see him go to from pure NBA fan bias. If I am taking my personal roley bias in the play, I mean Philly, I mean, excuse me. Yeah. No, Philly is the number one. Can’t happen. They they they do not deserve Cooper flag. They got Embiid. They got Ben Sibons. They’ve had their run of number one picks. They signed Paul George. They were projected to be, I would say, what a top three, four team in the East this year. Obviously, injuries, it all went south, but they don’t deserve the number one pick, and I hope they don’t get it. Yeah, they were I think going I think after they signed Paul George, they were in the top five of title odds, you know, before obviously the season kicked off and everything and it turned into what it was in Philadelphia. But yeah, if they were to somehow luck into Cooper Flag, I would be disgusted. I really would. I you know, you know, we talk a lot about Cooper Flag who wins number one pick in lottery. I would argue Cullen winning the number two pick, it won’t feel as good because Flag is that clear-cut one prospect. But I think we need to stop acting like Dylan Harper at the number two spot wouldn’t be one of the biggest home runs you could possibly have. I love the lefty guard out of Ruckers with shoes on. He’s about 66, 7 foot wingspan. Just can get to his spot in the mid-range. He get to his spot anywhere he wants to. Playm makes defense. Like Dylan Harper could absolutely change a franchise and could be an MVP candidate down the stretch. That’s how good I feel about Dylan Harper. So, a team that wins the number two overall pick should be equally as happy as winning the number one pick. I know it’s not going to be as fun as, oh, we don’t get Cooper flag, but I think Dylan Harper is that good as a prospect. Would have been, by the way, the clearcut like here’s Harper, here’s everybody else prospect when you go to last year’s draft. Like, it would have been unbelievable difference. Unbelievable. 100%. And we’re going to break down all of the top 15 of your big board as we get closer to the start of the NBA draft lottery. But hey, we need to get the likes. Oh, we need to get the numbers up, folks. Get these Get these numbers up. All right, we’ve got a little over 500 people in the chat. We’re about 57 likes. Let’s get those numbers up. All right, hit that like button. We want to spread this stream out to as many NBA fans that are tuning in to the NBA lottery as possible. Hit that like button. It’s 100% free. It supports us here at Chat Sports and uh we greatly appreciate it. So, hit that thumbs up icon and let’s get to 250 likes. Yeah, I mean we’re going to be live here for the entire lottery unveiling and just the fact that we don’t have triple digits like likes right now is quite honestly disrespectful. It doesn’t feel good. We’re here live. We hear on chat sports bringing out content every single day whether it’s NFL, NBA, college football, and we go live for the big events. And when you guys hit that thumbs up icon and show us support here, it makes our bosses really happy. I mean, they they want us to have a 50% like rate. We need Oh, we need a lot. We need a lot. Yeah, we’re building. We’re not even at triple digits yet. Come on. We’re building, man. But it helps us out. Shows our bosses that, you know, we do a good job here. So, hit that thumbs up icons. Let’s get to 250 likes before the lottery gets underway in 13 minutes and change. We just crossed triple digit likes. Takes zero seconds at the like button. And as you mentioned, help support us. Um, puts us out there in the jet stream. It’s really nice. It’s really nice. It’s really nice. Really JT says, “How is Rucker so bad for the talent they had?” They had terrible coaching and they had no front court presence. I mean, Ace Bailey was playing the four for them, which is not his role, and they just had no interior defense. It was terrible. Like, they just got abused inside. Bad coaching. Their offense was stagnant at times due to poor shot selection, which is one of my knocks on Ace Bailey. But that that is the quick summary. What are they? Spark notes. Spark notes of why Rucker Cliffnotes version of everything. Yeah. Now again, Roly, you’re talking about a couple. We’ve talked about Dylan Harper. We talked about Cooper Flag, Ace Bailey. Let’s get into your big board. As we get closer to the NBA draft lottery, you’ve got the top five as follows. Cooper Flag at number one, the obvious number one projected overall pick. You have Dylan Harper, you just spoke about, VJ Edgecomb, the very athletic guard out of Baylor. Casper Yakonis, the swifty guard from, I believe, overseas who recently played at Illinois. And Ace Bailey at number five. Yeah. So, these are my top five and I I want this abundantly clear. This is on May 12th and the draft is until June 25th. So, there is time for this to be changed, but based off what I’ve looked at the the scouting, the film, what I’ve done, this would be my five. And I am higher on Casper Yakonis than most. It’s probably the most stunning player here because you if you look on ESPN, you look at other sites, he’s anywhere between five and 11 or 12. I like Yakonis. He came in today at the NBA combine, measured out extremely well, 6’4 and change without shoes, 67 wingspan. He I just think was one of those players that didn’t have the best offensive performance last season at Illinois that was expected due to spacing. I think in the NBA when you have more athletes, more shooting around him, his offensive game will be much more upgraded. I am a huge advocate for Yaka Chonis and many people are gonna say you’re low on Ace Bailey and and I don’t think this is crazy to put him at five. Like I think it’s one flag, two Harper and then you can group those three together in my book and put them any way you want, but Ace Bailey just doesn’t play enough defense and he doesn’t have a good shot diet. He took bad shots. He’s a tough shot maker, but he took bad shots, which is why I have him at number five. But I told Colin this before the show started. If you told me that Ace Bailey had the best career out of any of these five, I wouldn’t be shocked because that’s the type of tools and athleticism he has. I think Ace Bailey needs to go to the right coaching system, the right staff, the right scheme for him to really get the most out of his NBA career. As we move throughout my top 15 big board, we’ll only do the top 15 for the lottery today. One of the players I’m also extremely high on is Jeremiah Fears, the point guard from Oklahoma who just continued to rise up boards as the season progressed here. Just played well in the SEC tournament. Played well in the NCAA tournament. A shifty guard that can beat you off the dribble. Gets to the free throw line. Shot 85% from the line. Big fan of Fears. Couple other highlights. Love Khan Kapple. Just do it all glue guy. might not be an all-star, but he’s just gonna be an all-star in his role, man. And I think a lot of people talk about that with Derek White, but I see a lot of similarities in terms of Kppel’s ability to defend, to playmake, to play off two feet, to hit shots. I think Kppel is a player that I think gets slept on a little bit too much in this draft class. You see the two centers, the top ones, Derek Queen and Malawatch. Malawatch the freaky athletic and long center that can rim run um and block shots. Queen the offensive playmaker. I have Queen just slightly higher. Malawash doesn’t rebound the ball well enough for his size in my opinion. Something he’ll have to work on. And then round out my top 15, the final five here. Couple intriguing names. I’m a lot higher on Rashir Flleming than I think most. The forward from St. Joe’s who came in at 69, 75 wingspan at the NBA combine. Just an absolute freak. Shot 39% from three this past year. Nick Clifford to do it all guy for Colorado State who can play any role. Want to be an offball three? Sure. You want to be an onball two guard? Sure. Like he could do it all. Man, I really like Nick Clifford. He defends at a very high level. Is going to have a massive role on whatever team drafts him right away. Aigor Demen, a 68 point guard, has to clean up his shot, has to improve his decision- makingaking, but has the traits of an elite point guard at the next level. And then a couple defensive guys here and Colin Murray Boils and Carter Bryant. Might be a little high here on Bryant as well, but just an NBA ready frame like day one and he’s a 19-year-old freshman. Just overly impressive from Carter Bryant. Big fan of him. and Colin Mer Boils, the fourman who draws a lot of comps to Draymond Green due to their back to the basket game, their size similarities, defensive switching ability, and uh the playmaking in the half court as well. So, those are my top 15 prospects right now. I know there are some omissions. Not everybody could be talked about, but when we’re talking about my lottery, talking about the guys I think should be lottery picks in this draft, those are the 15 guys I think should be under consideration. Someone that is also rising up boards for me is Thomas Sorber from Georgetown, the freshman center who’s 610, 76 wingspan, just absolutely ridiculous. Got hurt late in the year. So, you didn’t see him in the March Madness or any of the tournaments like that. But a lot of good players out there in this draft. Let me know who your favorite one is. Get down in the comments section. 850 people watching. Who is your favorite draft prospect? Who is it? Who is it? Colin, who’s yours? There’s a uh there’s a lot of good options on there. I mean, obviously like people are there, you’re gonna get a lot of Cooper flags, you’re going to get a lot of Harpers, you’re going to get a lot of Ace Bailey’s. For me personally, Conppel, you kind of highlighted it. He to me is going to be the ultimate, like you said, and I love the way you phrased it, an all-star in his role. Like, he to me is a guy that can come in fit in any NBA system. He’s great off the uh catch and shoot three. He can defend, you know, guards relatively uh twos or threes. I think he’s just going to be a guy that you plug into any NBA system and have a long productive NBA career that you know teams are always looking for those three and D guys and I think to me at the wing position he’s the best one in this draft. Yeah, I really like Conppel. I think my guys in this draft, I would label them if I had to do my five guys. My five guys, I’d probably have it as Rashir Fleming, Nick Clifford, Jeremiah Fears, um, Casper Yakoness, and I could go up in the air with a fifth guy, but I’d probably put Aigor Demen as my number five guy. I really believe in him. Yeah, he’s a really interesting because he seems to, like you said, really nail the aspect of the throwback transitional point guard. You know, he has all the tools and everything. Great vision. It’s just depending. Can he, you know, off the bounce and his shot really develop to the NBA caliber level that he probably needs to, but he’s an intriguing prospect for sure. Yeah, we had 900 people in the building. We showed the odds to be the top pick in this draft just a little bit ago, but there are also different odds to be in the top four because these are different categories, folks. You could win the first overall pick, but being in the top four is another little tier break what we’ll see here. So, as you start from the back end of the lottery, remember we talked about the Kings. If they keep their pick, they have to get into the top four. So, the Kings have a 3.8% chance to have their own pick. If it doesn’t go in the top four, it’s going to the Atlanta Hawks. The Spurs have a 3.4% chance. That’s with the 14th pick. That’s from Atlanta, an unprotected pick. They got the Bulls and Mavs, both sitting there at 8 and a half, 8%. Then you get into the top 10. Blazers a 16.9. Rockets a 17.3. San Antonio sitting at that eighth spot, 26.3%. The top three have the same odds to be in the top four. Slightly over 50% chance. 52.1% for both Utah, Washington, and Charlotte. And then you see those other teams in the 40% range, New Orleans, and Philadelphia. So get your predictions in. Who gets the number one overall pick? We asked you to name, but these are the top four odds. It is Washington, Utah, and Charlotte share the same odds at 14% for the number one pick. New Orleans at 12 a.5% the number four spot. Type NOP for the Pelicans. CHA for the Hornets, WA for the Wizards, and UTA for the Jazz. Who gets the top overall pick? We’ve got uh some saying New Orleans Pelicans. We’ve got Tyson saying Utah. Smokey saying Charlotte. We’ve got Rub saying Utah. We got Gerald Smith saying the Pelicans. Ruski saying the Raptors. We got Sports Update saying the 76ers. We’ve got uh Too Bold saying Charlotte. Uh let’s see. We got Pelican Hunter saying Utah. New Orleans Pelicans from Gerald Smith. Shout out to all you guys in the chat. I mean, what odds would you give uh the number one pick not being one of these top four teams in your opinion roll? I mean, obviously the odds, we just showed them on screen, but if just your gut feeling, do you think a team could potentially jump all four of these teams? I mean, I give it a 25% chance. Like I mean it’s pretty hard for a team to jump outside of the top four. I mean we saw it happen a year ago. So I mean it’s not the best thing to show is the Hawks went up from number 11 to number one and they got Zachary Reach. Um but I I mean it’s just you play the odds and with all four of these teams being 14 14 12 a half what does that math come out to of just over 50? Yeah. I guess that’s the odds if you’re really playing the odds. But I I think one of these four teams are going to get I really do. I really do. 1,200 people watching. We’re under 200 subscribers away from 409K. Wow. How about that one? Let’s get there today. I’m Nick Rolloff. We’ll be live here, by the way, for the NBA draft. Last year I did a look back. The lottery was on a Sunday afternoon. Yep. Um, top of the hour. It was supposed to be at 2:00 p.m. 3 p.m. Eastern. It didn’t get first pick announced 14th overall until 319. The NBA just needs to figure it out. So, but in years prior, it’s been like seven minutes in, eight minutes into the hour. So, we’ll ultimately see here. But, hit that thumbs up icon. Come on. We’re 211 likes right now. We need 140. Hit that thumbs up icon. I was telling Cullen about this. It’s like, it’s crazy. I truly think we’ll know where Dylan Harper and Cooper Flag are both going after tonight. And how is that not exciting? Two of the best prospects to come out in the last 5 years at minimum. 100%. All right. Tyson Bean spamming me. We got John Rodriguez spamming me. JT saying let’s go. Let’s get it. Shelley saying me. All right, top of the hour is here, folks, and it’s time to see the NBA draft lottery be unveiled. Cooper flag, the top prospect, who is going to earn the number one pick to select the forward from Duke. But there’s also prospects like Dylan Harper, VJ Edgecomb, Ace Bailey, among others that teams are going to try to be getting. It is going to be a fascinating night here in the NBA with two playoff games. An important night in terms of the draft that will truly change the landscape of the NBA. I’m not being a little hyperbolic when I say that because Cooper flag where he ends up going could change the entire outlook of that conference of where Giannis Antono ultimately could be traded this off season. And I’m glad everyone’s joining us here at Chat Sports on NBA now. I am Nick Rolloloff. Over 2,000 people hanging with us here. And if you are just joining us and weren’t here for the 30 minute pregame portion leading up to the top of the hour, here are the odds to receive the number one pick and earn the right to draft Cooper flag. Utah, Washington, and Charlotte all share the same chance at 14%. New Orleans at 12.5%. Now, I do want to note some pick movements here. You see the Kings at8%. If they move up, they keep their pick. Here are the exact trades. So, the Kings owe their pick to Atlanta, but it is protected for the top four. So, if the Kings jump up inside the top four and are picking one, two, three, or four, they keep their pick. If their lottery ball stays at 13 or 14, it goes to the Atlanta Hawks. The Atlanta Hawks lottery pick, which is 14th by the way, goes to San Antonio, unprotected. The Suns lottery pick, which was ninth overall, goes to the Houston Rockets, completely unprotected. And maybe the one that might be the most confusing, the Philadelphia 76ers, who currently have the sixth best odds to, excuse me, the fifth best odds to get the first overall pick. A 42.1% chance to be inside the top four. If they stay inside the top six, they keep that selection. If the Sixers get jumped by two teams, say a team like Toronto, San Antonio, Houston, Portland, Dallas, those two of those teams move inside the top four and it pushes Philadelphia back to the seventh pick. Well, that means the Sixers will actually be sending that pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Will be very, very fascinating. We have about I guess 14 and a half minutes until the lottery. So, if you want to update that timer, column, let’s do that because we got 2600 people watching. But ESPN is saying that at what is what is that time going to be? 6:18. 617. It’s unbelievable. It’s unbelievable. Well, as we are 12 minutes away from the lottery, how about this folks? If you want us to talk about your specific team in the next 12 minutes, whether it’s best prospects for that team, chance to win the lottery and all the pick movements, super chat with your team name, we’ll talk about that team. If you want to send any donation, that’s appreciated as well. Um, while we wait to see if anyone wants to get a super chat and the donation starting here 12 minutes until tip off, 100 subscribers away from 29K. Let’s or 409K. Let’s go through quickly the top 15 big board again. Now, this is my personal big board here, folks. And it’s very early. The draft is until June 25th, so you may see some movement on my big board. But the top five prospects in order, in my opinion, are as follows. I’ve got Cooper Flag in a tier of his own at number one. And I’ll be honest here, folks. I’m putting Dylan Harper from Ruckers in a tier of his own at number two. But I’ll bunch up VJ Edgecomb, Casper Yakonis, and Ace Bailey in that three through five range. I would be fine in any of those orders, but I have it slated out this way. Edgeome the talented two guard that can really defend. He shot 39% from three in Big 12 play. Highlight reel dunker. Yakonis, the point guard that is 6’4, 67 wingspan, has a solid three-point shot, can facilitate. Ace Bailey is that prototypical wing that can score at any spot on the court but doesn’t take the most smart shorts. Ace Bailey very very solid. Then my next group of five Jeremiah Fears big high on the Oklahoma point guard my two centers top ones. Derek Queen out of Maryland at seven. Kaman Malawatch at 10 from Duke followed in here by Trey Johnson Canppel. We didn’t talk a lot about Trey Johnson in the open here, but the guard from Texas from Dallas, by the way, unbelievable score. Average about 18 19 points a game at Texas. Similar to Ace Bailey that could score at any point on the court, has a plus six wingspan that allows him to just really rise over his defensive counterpart, but takes sometimes bad shots like Ace Bailey. Is the coaching staff going to be able to reel that in? Also struggles on the defensive end at times. And then the final five prospects in my top 15 mixed bag here. Rashir Fleming, true junior, 68, 75 wingspan, unbelievably talented athlete as well as a three-point shooter. Nick Clifford, a five-year guy, do it all. Just can come in and play right away in my opinion. Agore Demen, true freshman from Russia, 68, played starting point guard role for BYU last year. And then two defensive versatile guys that are really just chess pieces on that end. Carter Bryant, the freshman from Arizona who’s got an NBA rody body at a 19 years old. Unbelievable. And then Colin Murray Boils, the true sophomore defensive chess piece that’s been comped to Draymond Green. Couple super chats to show here as we’re under 10 minutes away from announcing the top picks as they are interviewing Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey. the Ruckers teammates on the ESPN broadcast right now. Seern says the Spurs Raiders report is my favorite channel on CS. Well, Cerns, appreciate you and I thank you for coming and donating. All right, let’s look at the Spurs draft odds and this is for the number eight pick. Remember, they have two picks in this draft. They have the 14th pick right now, which is via the Atlanta Hawks unprotected, and then they have their own selection at number eight. They have a 20 plus% chance to get inside the top four, 6% chance to get number one, 6.3% number two, 6.7 number three, and 7.2% number four. Now, they can’t pick number five, six, or seven. It’s either you move up into the top four or you get pushed back. Here are the odds for that. They are 34.5% likely to stay at number eight. There’s a 32% chance they get jumped and they move back just to number nine, but very unlikely they move down farther than that. So, they are likely going to be picking number eight, number nine, or in the top four. But, as I mentioned, they have another pick in this draft via the Atlanta Hawks. It is a 96.6% chance that the 14th pick is to the Spurs via Atlanta. There is a very small chance they jump inside to the top four. It comes out to about 2% I believe just two to 3% and it’s a 7% chance for the Spurs to earn the number one pick via their selection courtesy of Atlanta at number 14. So that’s the situation on San Antonio Jedi master with a $2 super chat. Spurs will stir stun everyone and win the lottery. Well, it’s funny you say that because the first super chat was asking about the Spurs. The second super chat as well. So, both of y’all are happy because we just talked about the San Antonio Spurs. I mean, hey, listen, maybe it’s an omen. Maybe this Spurs, it’s going to fall in their favor tonight. I mean, Dearon Fox, Cooper Flags, Stefon Castle, and of course, Victor Wimbeyama. Good lord. I mean, are you kidding? And you wonder if they get number one, would you ra would you rather keep that and build WBY flag and all your young pieces with Fox or would you maybe want to go a little bit of the Giannis route offer the number one pick to Milwaukee and grab Antony Kmpo to pair up with WBY India and Fox? I think uh you know without a doubt Rolley they would have at that point the best trade package by far and it wouldn’t be even close. By the way, I’ll say this right now. Um, and this is going to sound crazy. I’d rather have number one back. Really? I would. Okay. I because Cooper Flag I believe is going to be an AllNBA player at this next level at some point in his career. And you tell me, would I rather have Cooper Flag on 13.3 million on an annual average value right now over the next four years or have to trade that and then also pay Jana 60 plus million per season? I think I would rather have flag. That’s the only right pick in this draft that I would rather have than Giannis, by the way. I just want that abundantly clear. That’s fair. That’s fair. Want that abundantly clear. My guy Mike Dibbles in the building. But we did get a $2 super chat from Ace. Remember, we got 3600 people watching. We’re 5 minutes away from the lottery officially getting unveiled. Hit that thumbs up icon. Let’s get to 500 likes, but also let’s get to 409K subscribers under 80 away from that point. The $2 super chat from Ace is going to be asking us about Sacramento Kings. The Sacramento Kings. A fascinating team here that Well, Ace, if you’re a Kings fan, it’s probably not going to go in your favor here, unfortunately. Probably not. Um, so appreciate the $2 super chat. The Kings will not be keeping their pick in all likelihood. more than likely because remember folks that pick is going to Atlanta if it stays where it’s currently at. So the only way the Kings keep their pick because of protections is if they jump into the top four. So you see the odds there. Not very good. There’s a 92.9% chance that they stay at number 13, which means it is the Atlanta Hawks pick. There’s a three.3% chance they get jumped by the Spurs, which would then put the Kings to 14, which would then go to Atlanta. So, it’s not likely that the Kings will ultimately keep their pick. Let’s go to the Toronto Raptors here. We don’t have to show the super chat. We could show it quitely quickly after we talk about the Raptors odds here as we’re getting closer and closer to the announcement of the lottery here. So, we can quickly show this and then show the overall odds for number one and then do a little comment driver. So, the Raptors currently have the seventh overall pick odds behind just the Sixers at five and Brooklyn at six. They have an okay chance just over 30% to jump inside the top four. You see it there. very likely that they stick it six or seven or eight, but they have a chance to jump into the top four. They’re announcing the play teams and who’s representing who. Let’s quickly show the top uh odds, the top 14 for the number one pick, and then we’ll do uh are you ready? And then we’ll get this underway probably. So, here are the odds one more time. If you’re just joining us to receive the number one overall pick, if you’re in the lottery, just one more time reminding that Sacramento pick, if it stays where it’s at, it goes to Atlanta. Um, that’s really the only one that we have to talk about if everything goes according to plan. Utah, Washington, and Charlotte all share the same odds to get the first overall pick at 14% and potentially draft the Duke forward Cooper flag. Appreciate that $2 super chat from SF talking about Raptors. We just showed that. But folks, it is almost that time. They’re almost done announcing every person, player, executive that is representing their individual team for the lottery. If you’re excited, if you’re ready to get this party underway, spam me down in the comment section right now. 4300 people watching. Spam those V. Zion representing the New Orleans Pelicans, by the way. That’s is hilarious. This is awesome. Trying to get the vibes for the Duke forward again. Going number one overall. Spam those Mi. I see the GOAT, the legend himself, Mike Dibble, Ruby, Tom, Ferooi, Dale, Riley, Jr., Sean, Ali, Kurt, Yo, Life, Jedi, Kizo, Miguel. Keep on spamming those me. Keep on spamming those Miis. Bob Carrington is there for Washington who was picked 14th last year okay rookie year co-owner of the Jazz Ashley Smith looks similar to K Adams there but here we go they’re bringing out the announcements here it’s about time to get underway I believe I think we’ll see we’ll see they had the timer for about a minute okay so what they did is they just put the official order on the table and now they’re going to Mark Tatum, the deputy commissioner coming up. So, let’s go to full screen right now, Colin, of the results coming in because this is where it’s about to get announced, folks. Here it comes. Top 14 of the NBA draft officially getting underway. The 14th pick in the draft. This is projected to go to the Spurs courtesy of Atlanta. And it stays that way. The Spurs will be picking 14th overall with one of their selections. Thank you to the Dejante Murray trade a couple years ago. The 13th pick going to the Hawks if it’s not jumped up and it will not jump up. The Hawks get the 13th pick courtesy of the Sacramento Kings. Kings had a outside shot to keep their pick in the top four. The 12th pick goes to the Chicago Bulls. So they do not jump up. They stay at 12. at number 11. Oh my god, the Dallas Mavericks have moved up into the top four of the lottery. Oh my god, the top four has been moved in the lottery. The Mavericks have a top four pick. The Blazers are picking 11. They fall from 10 to 11. At number 10, Houston from the Rocket or excuse me, from the Suns, they jump or fall down from 9 to 10. The ninth pick goes to the Toronto Raptors. So, they fall back a little bit to number nine. The Spurs are in the top four. The Mavericks and Spurs are in the top four. Oh my goodness. I am at a loss. Number eight, the pick goes to the Brooklyn Nets. The eighth pick goes to the Nets. And the seventh pick is going to the New Orleans Pelicans who fall back from the fourth overall spot to seven. So Pelicans not very lucky there. The sixth pick is the Wizards. Oh, which means the Sixers are in the top four and the Sixers keep their pick. No pick for the Thunder in the lottery. And the fifth pick will be going to either Utah or Charlotte. It goes to the Utah Jazz. So the top four is either Dallas, San Antonio, Philadelphia, or Charlotte. We are going to take a quick break and then get into the top four where it is either going to be Philadelphia, San Antonio, Dallas, or Charlotte. The Mavericks, by the way, had the 11th best odds to jump inside the top one pick or the top four. They jump up. And I said it in the freaking moment, Cullen. That was the Heats pick. All right, that’s where we stand. Unbelievable chaos. Who is going to be the top four? Who wins it? Who wins it? I’m gonna change the live poll. I’m changing the live poll. Oh my gosh. I just I’m changing the live poll. Who wins the See if Sam is making that by the way. Okay, cool. Who wins the lottery? 76ers, the Spurs, the Hornets, or the Mavericks. Unbelievable. Here it is on screen. Get your votes in down below. Holy shoot. Unbelievable. Colin, can you give shout outs so I can crash out on Twitter? I got you. Spurs. Uh, we got Spurs are match from JT. Spurs from the Anderson. Timothy says NFL time, lol. Ruby says Spurs. May says Spurs. Tom saying Philadelphia. David saying Charlotte. Let’s get these chats going, man. Cheek saying Dallas. Fooi saying Philadelphia. Dallas from Jim Key. Cameron step. Dallas. Oh my goodness. Lewis saying Spurs. We got Dallas. We got Duno. We got One Life Spencer. Little bro, we got Par Pims, Mike Dibble, the legend, Scoo Pelican, Valerie Parals, Pelican, Kizo, Michael Par, Andy. Oh my goodness. This is unbelievable, man. Dallas now. Oh my god. Loris saying Philadelphia. We got the Hornets from Air. We got uh LeBron saying Dallas. We got uh Valerie saying the Spurs. Oh, Anthony saying Charlotte. It’s a very mix in the chat. All four of these teams have a chance to win, capture the flag, and get Cooper flag potentially with the number one overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft. Roll your thoughts. Uh, I’m stunned. I’m not shocked though. I mean, what did I say in the open? If you are a believer that this is rigged, you would have told me that these are the four teams. Like, seriously, the Spurs potentially getting Webby and Cooper flag with Fox. The Mavericks after the Luca Donish debauchery, they get Cooper flag. Philly, the big market of Philadelphia giving them flag. And then Charlotte, I mean, you I I wouldn’t say in there, but that’s a team that I thought should have been able to get it. You pair Cooper flag with LaMelo and Brandon Miller and that would be an excellent excellent young trio. I mean, if you told me the NBA could script the top four, I would argue it would be this top four with one exception of maybe throwing Chicago in there for a big market ability there. But man, oh man, Charlotte’s like giving this thing a little bit of credibility. Let’s be honest, Charlotte’s holding this thing. If if this was San Antonio, Dallas, Philly, or Chicago, they’d be the most rigged event of all time. Man, if you put rigged in the chat earlier, you’re sitting pretty right now because this my god. I mean, three of these four situations, Roly, I mean, it could be just absolutely crazy. I’m disgusted. I I’ve crashing out on Twitter, by the way. Um, do you want to showcase once again what has happened so far for anyone just joining us what the lottery is right here? Let’s go full screen, Colin. Yep, I got you. Um, as the lottery is just about to resume here with the top four picks set to be announced, the Spurs, Hawks, Bulls, Blazers, Rockets, Raptors, Nets, Pelicans, Wizards, Jazz rounded out. Notable here, folks, the Jazz and Wizards had tied for one best chances to be in the top four at 52.1% chance and top one pick at 14% chance. They both fall out of the top four. And then the Pelicans, who had a 12 and a half percent chance to get the number one pick, 48% chance to be in the top four, fall back to seven, which is how you got the Spurs jumping up from eight to the top four, the Mavericks jumping up from 11 to the top four, the Sixers jumping up from number five to the top four, the lone team to be in the top three and still in the top three. That would be the Charlotte Hornets. So they have rechanged the what do they call the stage of the lottery to the four lottery teams that are hoping to get Cooper flag and that number one overall pick. We got one more time the Spurs, the Hornets, the Sixers, and the Mavericks. One last time, get your votes in down below who will get the number one overall pick. 41% of the live poll, by the way, says Spurs. It’s 21% Tai Hornets and Mavs. 17% Sixers. Here we go. Let’s announce it, folks. The number fourth overall pick. It goes to the Charlotte Hornets. Unbelievable. Wow. Unbelievable. The Hornets, who had a tie for one best chance to get the top pick, comes in at number four. 76ers third. The 76ers go number three, which means Cooper Flag is either going to be a Spur or a Maverick. The number one overall pick, Dallas. It goes to the Spurs. Dallas Mavericks. Whoa. That’s the Heat pick. Oh my goodness. The Heat. Oh my. The Mavericks get the number one overall pick. The Spurs get number two. Oh my goodness. Oh my god. The Dallas Mavericks hold the number one pick in the 2025 NBA draft. Oh my god. I’m at a loss. Unbelievable. They would have had Cooper flag. I I I I can’t take off my fanship. 1.8% 8% chance. That’s tied for or that’s the fourth lowest odds to win the NBA lottery since the lottery began back in 1985. I I I’m at a loss. I am at an absolute loss. The Mavericks after trading away Luca Donic. Get Cooper flag. Oh, I I I I am at an absolute loss. It’s rigged. It’s rigged. It it it might be that Luca Johnson trait has takes a whole new kind of just look if you’re a Mavericks fan. Wow. Wow. Wow. The Dallas Mavericks have won the number one overall pick. Oh my gosh. I cannot believe it. I mean, just quick other takeaways here though, Cullen. San Antonio, do they still probably go Dylan Harper? Like, and at what point is too many guards though, Colin? It’s a great question. Wow. Wow. Wow. Full draft lottery results. The Spurs end up jumping from number eight to number two. The Mavericks go up from number 11 to number one. The Sixers go from number five to number three. The Hornets go from number three to four. Like the top four teams all jump back three spots. Charlotte to four, Utah to five, Washington to six, New Orleans to seven. And this is the full draft lottery results. I just wow. Unbelievable. I mean, I I Are we talking about an alltime bailout for the Dallas Mavericks? It’s not a bailout. It’s It’s It’s The fans deserved it. It is a bailout. I You don’t understand how sick I am, by the way. It’s not a bailout because Nico might still trade that. He’s stupid. I I’m at a loss. I’m at a loss for words. Just think about how much fun you’re gonna have watching flag. He would have been a Miami Heat basketball player if we didn’t win the playing games. I actually can’t believe that just happened. This is the most Wait, by the way, fun fact, that is now two straight years the number 11 pick jumped to number one. Yes. That’s what the Atlanta Hawks pick was last year, I believe. Yep. Oh my god. H how? What are the odd I mean it’s a 1.7% chance to get the number one pick from that 11 spot. Well, it was I thought it was 1.8 or 1.7 one point I think it was 1.8 on the screen. That’s what are the chances that in backto back years the number one pick comes from a team outside of the top 10. That is like backtoback years. Yeah, that’s absolutely absurd. Get the weigh in. Is the lottery rigged? I think it is. I think it’s rigged. I mean this is let us know is the is the lottery rigged. Why or yeah R for rigged in for no. Oh my gosh. Unbelievable. A lot of rigs. I can’t blame you. The fact that the two it came down to the Spurs and the Mavericks, I I’m disgusted. I mean, this is the darkest day I think in Miami Heat history. I mean, this is as we hear our Mavericks host Jeffrey Cooper saying Cooperstein saying in disbelief, “Cooper flag is a Dallas Maverick.” Uh, I mean, I don’t know. I don’t know what to say. I’m legit lost for words. he actually would have been on the Miami Heat. And I’m sorry that uh I’m so fixated on this guys, but uh as a diehard Miami Heat fan, I host our Heat channel who a person who was advocating for the team to miss the playoffs by the way. They would have had the 11th best chance in the lottery. And as we just witnessed, the Mavs who had the 11th odds in the lottery won the lottery. What is going on? By the way, the San Antonio Spurs potentially coming away with Dylan Harper to pair alongside I mean I I don’t know if you do you go Harper, you have your back court. To me, that makes it more likely that I actually think that makes it more likely they trade for WBY. They trade for who? Sorry. Excuse me. For Giannis Antinaka. Yeah, because when you think about it, why wouldn’t you just ship off that number two pick, salary filler, and a couple others for Giannis? Yeah, cuz with that number two pick being so coveted, you don’t you don’t have to add Stfan Castle to that package anymore. Unbelievable, man. Um, okay. Do we need we need to get to the the cut, right? Yeah. Unbelievable. I’m I’m just still shocked. As you see, breaking news down below. The Dallas Mavericks with a 1.8% chance of winning the NBA lottery. They sit now at number one, followed by the San Antonio Spurs at number two. Philadelphia 76ers at three, Charlotte Hornets at four. Wow. The top three teams with the best odds to win the number one over pick land four through six. Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, Philadelphia 76ers are your top three. Unbelievable. Unfreakingbelievable, man. Listen, I’m not, you know, a big conspiracy guy. I’m not one to say that the NBA draft lottery is rigged normally. If there was ever a year that you claim it, I mean, y’all y’all let me know. We got 83% of people in the live chat or vote or live poll saying yes. I I’m going full conspiracy. Adam Silver forced the Mavericks to trade Luca to the Lakers and guaranteed them the Milan overall pick. I’m going full conspiracy. I’m going full conspiracy. I’m going full conspiracy, man. Cooper flag, you are a Dallas Maverick. The NBA li the NBA is wrecked. I I borderline don’t want to watch. I’m disgusted. I’m disgusted. I can’t. I’m unbelievable. I think this is the most wild lottery results. Yeah. Yeah. I do. I firmly believe that. I I I’m just I’m still trying to process this. What just happened? Just watched. I mean, LeBron is tweeting out laugh crying laughing emojis. Like, everybody knows this is stupid, man. Shit’s rigged. It’s rigged, man. I feel disgusted. I feel cheated. I feel cheated. By the way, I have no clue what the Sixers do with that third pick. I’m like already trying to wrap my head around it because I know the prospects. Like Dylan Harper and Cooper Flag will go one. BJ Edge. I feel I feel like he fits perfectly in Philadelphia. That’s what I say. Like they don’t need Ace Bailey. Yeah. Like they don’t need Yakonis with uh them having Tyres Maxi. They don’t need a lead guard. They need a two guard. So I think Edgecomb is going to be the pick there. They need a center if we’re going to be honest. But if they took one of the centers at three, that’d be a bit egregious. I can’t believe it, man. I actually feel cheated, bro. Cheated, I say. Cheated. All right. I can’t believe we got to do this. I We’re gonna sign off here on the lottery because we got to hop off. We’re going to film a video to go out a post lottery mockd draft. The Rockets got the 10th pick for someone asking. Appreciate the 50,000 people that tuned in. Wow. Wow. Wow. What a crazy NBA lottery stream. Mavericks jump up from number 11 to number one. The Spurs jump from number eight to two. Philly from five to three. And then everybody else drops down a little bit in Charlotte, Utah, Washington, New Orleans. That’s going to do it. Appreciate everybody for tuning in. Did we get to 409K subscribers? Yeah, we did. We just hit it. We did. Yes. All right, cool. Hey, shout out to y’all, man. Appreciate y’all. Crazy
I think the NBA gave Dallas the number one pick as a consolation prize for trading Luka Doncic away.
Trade your superstar to the Lakers guarantee #1 draft pick
God bless
Nba is rigged the fix was in long before they traded Luka. Thats why they traded Luka. They knew they were getting Flagg. I swear the league cant stand allowing the rockets to be the best in Texas. They always help SA abf DAL every year.
RIGGED
It was rigged
Its not rigged. As small a chance as they had, they still had a chance. If anything, this is great for the game. This is how you deter tanking.
Rigged
