Hey, hey, hey. Hey, hey, hey, hey. What’s going on Bulls fans? Welcome into the Bulls report. My name is Patrick Seatman as we are live for the 2025 NBA draft lottery where we are all sitting here hoping that the Bulls will be the team that will capture the flag tonight. They have a 1.7% chance of doing so. the same odds they had in 2007 when they took Derrick Rose with the first overall pick. So, as we let the audience build up here as we are 13 minutes away from the draft lottery, if you want the Bulls to land the number one pick, hit me with a me down below in the comments section. Let’s get the good vibes going here early on today’s show. We already got Ty man the Buckeye in the house. MC Smart saying me. DC saying, “Let’s go Patrick. We got this.” I hope so, man. The Pope’s from Chicago. The lotteryy’s in Chicago. Everything’s indicating for the Bulls shocking the world tonight and landing Cooper flag. Los the legend saying me. DC in the building. Eugene Sullivan in the house. And then Miller saying, “Will the history repeat just like 2008?” I hope so, man. I hope so. As we got Marawn Walls in the building saying, “Yo, seeps red.” Yes, sir. Walls. This is I’m not trying to be hyperbolic when I say this. This is the biggest day in Bulls history since I almost want to say 2015. That game six game they had in Cleveland. That was a series when LeBron, Derek Rose both hit buzzer beaters backtoback days in or backto-back games in Chicago. I mean, the whole franchise could change tonight and like Billy Donovan’s life could change. Like all of these, you know, front office members for the Bulls. I mean, the whole city could change if you get Cooper flag. And could you imagine a city of Chicago with Cooper Flag, Caleb Williams, um Connor Baddard, Pete Crow Armstrong, shout out to the Cubs, um Angel Reese, shout out to the sky. Like, there would be a ton of young talent in Chicago. Um yeah, that D Rose buzzer beater. I’ll never forget where I was. Bunch of uh my buddies and I were watching it in my basement actually in Chicago and we were absolutely fired up, man. We were absolutely fired up. But hey, if you guys want the Bulls to land the first pick, hit that um thumbs up icon. Or if you guys are just excited for the lottery, I’m very, very excited. It’s going to fly quick. It’s going to be a very uh it’s going to be a rush here for the next 30 minutes or so. So, if you guys are fired up, like today’s show. We’re at 11 likes right now. If you guys could help us get to 20 uh 20 likes, that would be awesome. um we would really really really appreciate it. But I do want to talk about something while you guys are liking our stream here. So I was just going through the thought process and you know let’s just play this hypothetical. If the NBA is rigged, I think the NBA will put Cooper flag in Chicago. I think you need a superstar in the Eastern Conference and you got a bunch of good young talent like Paulo. He’s a stud. um you know 23 years old but you really look out west they got Anthony Edwards WBY Joic so the best player alive SGA and really in the east you don’t have that marquee superstar and if you would put him in the Chicago market in those Bulls uniforms I mean it would be absolutely chills man um but you guys let me know is the draft lottery rigged give me an R for rigged or give me an N for no down below in the comments section as Eugene saying I was wondering if Josh Giddy for more and 20 mill or 24 million will be acceptable. Um yeah, we’ll see how that plays out. I it’s just going to come down to what another team offers them. Like if another team’s like, “Hey, Giddy, we’ll throw you $35 million a year.” I would hope the Bulls wouldn’t want to like jump at that deal and be like, “Well, since we traded Caruso for him, we got to go get Josh Giddy.” Um but I would be willing to go up to like $32 million for the Bulls um or for Josh Giddy this off season. But I mean, even if it’s not Flag, if the Bulls could at least just move into this top four here and guarantee yourself, you know, either, you know, how about Ron Harper, um, or Dylan Harper, Ron Harper’s kid, you know, or even getting getting a guy like Ace Bailey, VJ Edgecom, like any of those guys would be fantastic. As we do welcome in producer Dylan, hopefully giving us the good luck tonight. Um, but you guys let me know who is your favorite draft prospect. Um, can’t say Cooper Flag. we’ll uh throw him out of the equation for this one. But for me, it’s Derek Queen. Um Derek Queen, if you could somehow follow the pick number 12, that would be sick. And we’ll dive into like some of the odds here for the Bulls um here shortly. But DC saying, “Patrick, would you rather Ace Bailey or Dylan Harper if we get number two, I think Ace Bailey would be a better, you know, fit for the Bulls as they do have a need at that wing spot behind, you know, Manis Buzzellis. But I think Dylan Harper is going to be a stud. He’s 6’6. I mean, he gets the James Harden in comparison for a reason. Super smooth scoreer, can get it done at all three levels. So, I would like Dylan Harper. I think he would be the better player out of him or Ace Bailey. So, I would lean him. Um, but Ace Bailey would be a better fit. I also would love VJ Edgecom. Uh, he literally reminds me of Vince Carter. He’s a hyper athlete. Um, and you go just throwing his highlights this past year at uh Baylor. I mean, this guy was an absolute freak. So, I would be down with either either of those four guys. But what we will be looking for the first what are we going to have 14 13 12 those picks will all come in. If we do not see a Bulls logo in those first four picks it will guarantee the Chicago Bulls a top four pick in the NBA draft. And here are their odds. Um if you guys don’t know uh right now they do have a 1.7% chance to land the number one overall pick. They have an 8% chance to land in the top four as a whole, but it’s also an 86% chance to land at pick number 12. So, keep that in mind. They’ll most likely be where the Bulls are picking. But 1.9 for number two, 2.1 for number three, 2.4 for number four. But right here, the same odds the Bulls had when they drafted Derrick Rose back in the was that 2008 or 2007. Um, it goes heading into the 2008 season. So, you know, they did it before. They shocked the world in the past. They’re in the lottery with these same odds. Hopefully uh history repeats itself here today. But here are a little more in depth. Um so top four is 8% then the rest of percentages are right here. 85.2 just to stick and pick and number 12 6.6 um% chance actually move back in the draft and a.1% chance to land the 14th overall pick. So kind of as we see this play out, we’ll see 14 come in. We’ll see 13 come in. Then we’ll see 12 come in. If the Bulls are not there in the first three, it guarantees them a top four pick in the 2025 NBA draft. So, keep that in mind. I will be going absolutely nuts if we don’t see the Bulls in these first three picks, but you know, more likely than not, they will be here. But, here are the total odds to be in the top four. Um, you got the top three teams. They have greater than a 50% chance um to stay in the top four. Then the Pelicans at 48.1, Philly at 42.1. I’ll tell you what, I’ll be a little sick if Philly got the number one overall pick. It’s just kind of rewarding bad basketball operations where, you know, obviously the Embiid contract was a disaster, the Paul George contract was a disaster. But I’ll toss this question to Dylan. If it’s not obviously the Chicago Bulls, Dylan, out of all these teams, where would you like to see Cooper Flag play basketball next year? I think Brooklyn would be an intriguing one just for that franchise having to go through so much and then they finally get a guy like Flag to come there. Yep. Uh I know that this wouldn’t be the popular pick, but if he goes to the Spurs and it’s him and WBY dominating the NBA for years to come, that would be fun. I mean, that would be one of the better defensive teams we have ever seen with a flag and WBY. Could you imagine though? Well, Dylan actually said this before we were uh live. He was like, “Imagine if the Spurs land the number one overall pick with their uh Atlanta Hawk selection, which is this one right here.” And then also this one moves up into the top four. Like the Spurs, we could be leaving here in 20 minutes or so and the Spurs got two top four picks. So, if I had to pick one spot that’s not the Chicago Bulls, I think I would go I like the Charlotte idea. you keep him in North Carolina, pair him up with Brandon Miller. Now, if the Hornets did get the number one overall pick, I would trade LaMelo Ball in a heartbeat and just completely pivot off that culture of kind of this AAU basketball that he naturally created and I would just go all into the Cooper flag culture. Um, I wouldn’t hate Charlotte. I think Houston would be incredibly interesting where obviously they’re going to be in the Giannis trade rumors like then the whole conversation would be like oh could Houston trade the number one overall pick for Giannis pretty much straight up like or maybe Houston if they get Cooper flag maybe it’s like all right we’ll give you Sangon Jaylen Green Jabari Smith and all these picks to go land uh Giannis and you pair up Giannis Amen Thompson and Cooper Flag I mean there’s a ton of different you know ways this could go tonight obviously since it’s a lottery I would be sick to my stomach if the Dallas Mavericks got the number one overall pick. Because if you guys remember the Bulls and the Mavs, they had to flip a coin to see who would get, you know, 11 or 12 in this year’s draft. And if the number 11 pick shot all the way up to one, I would be absolutely uh just absolutely disgusted. Um I’m not going to lie. Plus, you would be rewarding a franchise that uh traded away Luca Donuch and you’re just going to give them Cooper flag the year after. I would be a little upset about that. But Dylan, I think it’s that time. I think it’s that time and we’re going to spin the tankathon spinner until the Bulls move up into the top four. We won’t go number one or else we might be here until the lottery gets underway. Um but yeah, I said we start spinning this thing. If we get to the first one, we’re just stopping it there, Dylan. We’re just stopping it there. But let’s spin this thing. Here we go. First spin. The 76ers get in. The Bulls stay outside of the top 10. That would be a disaster. The Mavericks move up into the top four on this one um in this tankathon spin. But let’s get this thing going again. Here we go. Can we get the Bulls up there? They are not up there. Flag to Charlotte on our second spin. But then the Spurs hop up the number two. Dylan Harper with San Antonio would be chills. But let’s keep on kicking along here on the draft lottery spinner. Portland moving up from 10 to number one. And the Sixers jump into the top four. So Utah and uh Charlotte kind of get screwed on that one. Alrighty as we carry along here. So I think that’s five spins now. Oh, Malawatch um going to Oklahoma City Thunder. So Sixers fall out of the top six, which be interesting to see. But let’s just keep on spamming these until we get the Bulls into the top four. I think that’s about seven. And we’re at eight spins now. All right, we’re going to have to keep on going. We might be here until the draft lottery begins. We are not stopping until the Bulls are in the top four. Here we go. All right, hang around about 12 spins. 13 spins. We’re getting all the bad spins out of the way before the uh NBA does it here. Here we go. Cooper flag to Philly. Make me sick. New Orleans. That would also make me sick. Portland getting it. Bulls still not moving up. The Mavs moved up again. Oh man, that would just them getting Cooper flag would screw me, man. Oh, there we go. the Bulls and the uh Mavs hop up into the top four. That would be chaotic. And the Sixers fall out of the top six. So, if this is what goes down, I would be absolutely thrilled, man. Um Flag in Utah, Mavs get Ace Bailey, Dylan Harper to Washington, and then the Bulls would get VJ Edgecom. Now, I wonder who they would take if they got four. If maybe they would try to go Malawatch or maybe a guy like Derek Queen at that selection, but I think we save it, Dylan. I think we maybe we’ll do one more before here, but I think we’re going to let this good luck ride and I don’t want to waste the number one overall spin just yet. And I I don’t I don’t want to waste I feel like it’s coming. I feel like it’s coming. But hey, we appreciate all of you guys for tuning in today. That would actually be chills if it was VJ Edgecomb and then it was Josh Giddy, Modis Buzzellis, that would be a good young core to build around. So, you know, we’ll have to wait and see how it plays out as we are about a minute and a half away from the draft lottery getting underway. Here are the odds to get the number one overall selection. My gut is telling me, and I woke up this morning feeling it, Utah will probably land him. I could just see it. Um, he he does look like a Mormon. Uh, fun fact. Can anybody guess when the last time an American white basketball player was selected number one overall in the uh, NBA draft? I don’t think anybody. No, it it it has happened one time. I thought it was never though for a little bit. It was back in 1977. Uh, the Milwaukee Bucks took some guy named Ken Bson, I believe. Um, but yeah, Cooper flag and rewrite history tonight. Gotcha. Thanks. as we are closing in on the draft lottery beginning. I think we get around pick six. So the Bulls can’t so pretty much the Bulls will either be 12 134 or top four. They will not be in the uh range of 5 to 11. It will either be or 14 13 12 or it will be a top four pick. So if we’re watching this and we don’t see the Bulls logo in the first four selections that fly through, we’re getting a top four pick. We’re getting a top four pick and that would be awesome. But 1.7, everybody know that number. I want everybody saying to themselves, you know what? Let’s actually do a Let’s get the comment section going. Let’s do this. So, I think it would be an interesting conversation. Maybe you try the signing trade Josh Giddy. Um, maybe that could be in play, but you know, we’ll have to wait and see here. So, if the pick is number seven, the number nine, the Philadelphia 76ers pick, it’s heading to OKC. And also, when you see that Suns logo pop up, it’s actually going to Houston tonight. Um, so keep your eyes out on that. The Kings, their picks going to Atlanta if they don’t move up, which will most likely be the situation. And the Atlanta Hawks, uh, gave up their lottery pick to the San Antonio Spurs. So, the Spurs are absolutely loaded up as actually the reveal. You want to update that to 15 minutes away. So, at 6:17, the reveal will start here as you got to love ESPN saying the draft lottery is going to start at 6:00, but it’s actually going to start at 6:17 tonight. Like I’m talking about trading V and couple first round picks for a real center. like try to go get like a Mark Williams from Charlotte. You’ll get a rim protecting lob threat archetype at the center position. I would love that. Um even keeps showing the Spurs. I I I the more they talk about this, the more I think it might happen. Um yeah, we need to get V out of there. I’m with you, DC. um he’s only got one more year left on his contract, so even if they don’t trade him, he will be off the Bulls by the end of next season, which would be the greatest thing for this franchise. But we’ll see. OKC has a 36% chance, according to ESPN, to land their pick. So, we’ll see if that happens. That would be nuts, though. OKC because they also have Miami’s pick at 15. So, OKC could leave tonight with the number seven pick, the number 15 pick, and obviously their own pick. So they could have three first rounders this year. Use that to go get Giannis if they lose to the Nuggets in the second round. It’ be incredibly interesting. I remember last year all the streams praying for a vouch trade, but instead we just lost tomorrow. Yep. That was typical Bulls fashion, man. No more trading first round picks. See, if we get Flag, I’m trying to go all in while he’s on a rookie deal. I think he’s going to be an immediate impact. But also, it’s crazy how Flag He was supposed to be a freshman in um college this upcoming year. But he decided to reclassify, jumped up a year, and now he’s going to be he’s 18 and a half years old and might be the most valuable asset in the NBA as it stands right now, this number one overall pick. But we will see what happens. But we’re five likes away from 50. Hit that thumbs up icon. I think I think WB’s up there, too. It’s a valuable asset. If you guys could review in 15 minutes. Obviously, we trade V and Pub for Kaminga and Modis and IO. I don’t really want I’m not trading Modis for Walker Kesler. I would love Walker Kesler, but I don’t think All right, Big Diesel, would you toss V in a first for Kesler? Because I think I would. I think I would in a heartbeat. We’ll see, though. Giddy, Kobe, Flag, Kaminga, Kesler, Yay or Nay. Like I like it. I just don’t want to move off boozy. Um like it the only way I’m moving off Boozelis is if it’s for Giannis. And I know this sounds nuts. I would even be hesitant to do so. Like listen, as Bulls fans, it has been awful the last couple years. Like we can all just call it like it is. We’ve been living in purgatory. we deserve better. And like we finally have this guy from Chicago, Modis Buzzelis. Like just build around him a little bit. I’m not saying he could be a first option on championship team, but also I do truly believe he could be a second or third option on championship team. I think he’s that good. I even just watching a guy like Evan Mobley throughout these playoffs, like I can see that with Boozy. Um yeah, I would I would I would not trade Bales for anybody. I know it sounds nuts, but I I I really wouldn’t. I just don’t think the Bulls are, you know, in a position to move off one of their, you know, really their only good young asset. They’re really only promising young player. Like I know Giddy had a great resurgence the second half of the year. But I mean, I think Kobe White’s been the biggest product of taking advantage of March basketball in the NBA where Kobe White the last two years he is averaging what’s it 29 points per game in the month of March. Um I can’t I I just can’t get down with it. Carter just said, “What’s up, Rolley?” Roly’s on our main show if you want to go check that out over there. Um, if the Bulls won, would you trade the pick for Giannis? I would not. I am I don’t care if they say, and obviously this wouldn’t work out financially either way, but even if it’s just like, hey, number one overall pick for Giannis. I’m not doing it. I’m taking Cooper Flag and Flag Buselis. Those are building blocks. And you build the rest of the team around him. Is Josh Giddy that point guard? We’ll find out. But I would give that team a runway. And you know, I would also throw Giddy in there. I would say Giddy, Bzelis, Flag, even IO. I think I would keep IO around. I think he would be a perfect complimentary, you know, piece next to Josh Giddy. So, I would go Io, Giddy, Bzelis, Flag. Everybody else is on the trade block. Kobe White, we can see you. Nico Veovich, we can see you. Um, those would be the four that I’ll build around, but we’ll see. And my it was a copy and paste. You’re all good, brother. Um, if the Bulls won, who? Yeah, I would not trade it for Giannis. I uh just don’t think so. Low-key, I’d love him, but I think we should trade Kobe White this off seasonason. I am with you on that. I love Kobe White. He’s been awesome, but also I think his value is extremely high right now. He’s got an extremely cheap contract, which a team like the Orlando Magic would probably be very um intrigued by. But they’re showing all the people coming out. They got Zion representing the New Orleans Pelicans here. Um, Zion kind of looked like he was in good shape. The polo was a little snug, but Zion looks good. It’s Cooper Flag just praying for the Bulls. Praying for the Bulls. Come on, Flag. Get on down to Chicago. We’d love to have you. You would love the city as well. I promise you that. Come on, Cooper. But if you guys want the Bulls to land the number one overall pick and select that fella up there, Cooper Flag, give me a me down below in the comments section. Would you take Anthony Black and two first for Kobe White in a heartbeat? I mean, I was I was huge on Anthony Black um when he was coming out. He actually reminded me of Lonzo a lot. Um yeah, I would I would trade Kobe in a heartbeat for that deal. Um I know I know people get on me for that, but I just don’t know if Kobe White is I just don’t know if Kobe White is a part of the Bulls long-term plans. like when the Bulls eventually are hoisting that Larry O like is Kobe White a part of that picture? I don’t know. He very well could be, but I would try to get some first round draft capital for him. Um yeah, that’s just where I’m at right now. We can all disagree on this. It doesn’t have to be, you know, we all think the same thing. That’s the beauty of sports. That’s a beauty of sports media. That’s why I love chopping it up with you guys in the comment section. I mean, me and you guys on the show, um I mean, we would go back and forth this year. Like I remember at the start of the season when the Bulls were winning games, you guys were coming at my neck. Uh and then after the trade deadline when they got hot for a little bit, you guys were coming at my neck again. And then, you know, once the season ended, I was going back at you guys. So, I love the back and forth that uh you know, we have as I’m definitely a little bit more of a pessimistic Bulls fan compared to uh a lot of these optimistic folks that watch the show. I’m just kind of sick and tired of way the Bulls have been ran the last couple of years. So, you know, we’ll see as Quant TV saying we about to get number 12. 86% chance the Bulls get number 12. So, it’s probably what’s going to happen, but you never know. Just we need those ping pong balls to fall in just a certain spots and maybe the Bulls will land Cooper flag. But the Bulls cannot land between five and 11. That’s where we get to the top four odds here. So, they have an 8% chance to land uh in the top four of the 2025 NBA draft. 2.4% to get number four, 2.1 to get three, 1.9 to get two, and 1.7 to get the number one overall selection. The same amount of odds we had when we got Derek Rose as all the draft prospects are looking on here as we are almost at that time. We are almost at that time where the Bulls could land Cooper flag. We’ll see. 14% chance for the Jazz Wizards and Hornets. Pelicans 12 and a half. Sixers 10 12% chance.
