Miami Heat Misfortune Continues, Would’ve Had Cooper Flagg If Missed Playoffs | Mavs Win Lottery

I I feel sick, y’all. I mean, y’all already probably know, but I feel sick. I I’m not doing so good right now as a Heat fan. Let me tell y’all about my night, right? I was at the basketball courts as I usually am. We got there at about 6:00 and me and all the boys are talking about the draft lottery tonight because, of course, it’s going to be an interesting one. So, we we’re talking for a little bit, then we end up start playing and I don’t check my phone till about an hour and a half later. It was 7:30, so the lottery already happened. So, I was like, “Oh you know, let me check my phone. Let me see who won.” So, I pull out my phone and I see the notification that the Dallas Mavericks won the draft lottery. And immediately my heart sank into my stomach. My skin got pale and I was I was I felt visibly sick. Now, for those of you that don’t know, you may be wondering, “Hey, aunt, why did you feel so sick all of a sudden?” Well, let me let myself from 3 weeks ago explain to you why. The if Dallas ends up winning the lottery, that that would have been us. That would have been the heat and then I’ll be and then I’ll be heated. Like literally imagine you buy a lottery ticket and then you just give it to your friend and your friend wins. That’s what this would be. So I will be tuned into the draft lottery praying that doesn’t happen cuz then I might not be able to sleep at night. That’s right. As I said in my video 3 weeks ago where I was talking about the draft lottery and explaining how the odds worked, I mentioned that had the Heat missed the postseason, meaning if they didn’t win those two meaningless playin games as a tent seed to make the playoffs and get their ass kicked in humiliating fashion by the Cleveland Cavaliers, we would have had the 11th pick instead of the Cleveland Cavaliers. That means that those ping-pong balls that were assigned to the 11th overall pick would have been the Miami Heats and they would have won the first overall pick and they would have got Cooper flag. So now I’m sitting here going insane because we’re sitting here with what? With almost nothing. Listen, I don’t mean to be so negative. I even had a comment uh comment on my channel with within the last couple of videos and they were like, “Oh, stop being so negative. It’s getting annoying.” And I was like, let me respond nicely to this comment because maybe they’re new here. Maybe they don’t know how I’m operate. I I don’t like to believe that I’m positive or negative. I like to call myself a realist, right? A lot of heat content creators, they’re they’re known for a certain thing or have a certain agenda, whether they’re generally optimistic or generally pessimistic. I don’t think I fit into either of those because I I I think I’m a realist is how I like to call it. Now, obviously, I get really hyped when they win and really down when they lose. kind of play both sides to a hyperbole to a little bit. But even me acknowledging that is making me a realist because although I may get really happy after wins or down after losses, this is a reaction channel. You know, I’m reacting to the games. But overall, it doesn’t change my general view on this team, which is they’re in a bad spot right now, which is kind of what I explained to this comment that said I was always negative because think about where we’re at right now, right? We just lost in historic fashion. Literally, it was the biggest blowout by total series deficit in NBA playoff history. We just lost by that margin to the Cleveland Cavaliers who are about to get gentleman swept in the second round by the Indiana Pacers. They just got their ass kicked in game three and now Donovan Mitchell might miss some time with his ankle. So, it’s like we didn’t even lose to the team that might be the eventual champion and it’s like, okay, we got our ass kicked but the Cavs just dominated everyone. No, the Cavs went from kicking our ass to getting their ass kicked. So, we don’t even have anything to feel good about right there. And then on top of that, there was even more misfortune because going back to the the Warriors pick that we still have the 20th overall pick. If you remember, the Warriors were tied with the Grizzlies and Milwaukee Bucks for the odds there because they had the same record. So, there was a a random drawing to determine who would get 18th, 19th, and 20th. And of course, the Heat fell to 20th. So, even just a little bit more of bad luck that was sprinkled onto our season. And now, of course, you have the Mavericks winning the lottery, which would have been our draft pick. And even on top of all that, I’m watching Dwayne Wade and I see that he tweeted out something because the Utah Jazz fell to five, and he’s like, “Oh, uh, there was once a good player that was selected with the fifth overall pick. So, here’s our best player in franchise history.” No, he’s not an owner of us. He’s with the Utah Jazz, which just makes me sick in general. You had the Miami Heat official account tweet out right after the Mavericks won the lottery, a clip of Pat Riley saying that Tyler Herro is ignitable. And it’s like, read the room. We don’t want to hear about ignitable Tyler Hill right now. You know, when he wasn’t ignitable in game four of the playoffs where he scored four points. Come on now. And don’t say that I’m being too negative. Because even Brendan Tobin, who is generally one of the most positive guys in Heat Twitter, I know he does the whole drinking bid after bad losses and stuff, but in general, he drinks the heat Kool-Aid. And even he was crashing out on Heat Twitter, put out this long statement in all caps saying, “We lost Jimmy. We didn’t get dame. Our point guard broke his neck and he’s getting investigated. Our president is riing like a frog. Coach Spo lost his mojo.” There’s just so many other things that I I didn’t get into, which is why that this whole season is just so so depressing. Now, maybe the only thing I could hang my hat on is that 42.4% of y’all are subscribed to the channel. You’re greatly appreciated. Now, for the other 57.6%, you better get on that. I appreciate y’all, too. Let’s get back into the video. It’s had to he missed the playoffs and kept that 11th overall pick. Maybe we wouldn’t have won the lottery. Maybe the lottery is truly rigged and it would have been rigged for the Mavericks one way or another because think about it. I mean, the Cavs got the number one overall pick to get LeBron. The Bulls got the number one overall pick to get Derrick Rose from Chicago. That lottery the Heat were supposed to win also. They got screwed back then, too. Uh the the Pelicans got the number one overall pick after trading Anthony Davis. They got Zion. And now, of course, the Mavericks after trading away Luca Donish, they they’re blessed with Cooper Flag. How is that fair? I I don’t know. The only way I’m going to try to sleep at night is by just praying it was rigged either way and there was nothing that the Heat could have done about it. But like why did the Mavericks deserve this after their poor mismanagement to trade Luca Don? They get rewarded for it. Come on now. Now I do feel good for the fans. The fans certainly went through hell this year. I can’t even imagine what it was like to be a mass fan this year. Uh so I do feel good for them. They actually funny enough won the WNBA lottery also and they got themselves Paige Beckers who is a stud of course like she is awesome. So it is a pretty cool time for basketball fans in Dallas. They now have Cooper Flag and Paige Buer or uh Beckers running both of their programs. But in general, I don’t think the Mavs organization deserved it. I I seen the video of Na Harrison celebrating. They’re going all crazy and it’s like screw you, dude. You got you lucked into this crap, bro. And what did the Heat do to deserve all the misery that they have? What did we do? Are we still paying for the big three years? That was over a decade ago now. I I’ve watched enough games of Willie Reed and Luke Babbitt to repent for our sins of enjoying the big three. It’s like at some point we’re going to be rewarded. It has to happen though. It has to. Like I acknowledge though that in life in general, not just sports, that it’s never as bad as the bad times. It’s never as bad as rock bottom. And usually every rock bottom is filled with a great time. So you would have to think that the the positives are coming at some point. I don’t know what it is, but you just have to think that that it’s happening at some point. But I mean, look at these draft lottery odds. A 1.8% chance of the Mavericks to get the top pick. They got it. Round the top four actually rounded out by the Spurs, the 76ers, and the Hornets. So the 76ers jumped up, too. Actually, the only team that had the 14% chance to remain in the top four that did was was the Hornets. Every team fell. The the Jazz fell, the Wizards fell, the Pelicans fell. Uh I guess from a Heat fan perspective, it’s good that the Wizards and and Hornets fell cuz they’re in the same division as us. So, it’s nice that they’re not getting, you know, a necessarily definitive gamechanging piece to add to their roster. And for Philly to jump all the way to number three, it’s like I mean my god, that team’s been tanking for 15 years now. So, I’m not going to say they necessarily scare me, but yeah, it’s it’s rough times right now. I mean, you know what would be funny though? If that Heat’s number 20th pick ends up turning into a better player than Cooper Flag, who knows? It’s just it’s funny to talk about this stuff because for all we know, we can look back five years from now and I’m laughing at myself crying that we didn’t get Cooper Flag when he turns into a scrub and the Heat end up drafting. I don’t know who they whoever the hell they end up drafting and he turns into a Hall of Famer. Who who knows? You know, maybe they get Rashier Fleming or someone. He turns into a Hall of Famer. I don’t know. But that would be funny to look back and see. Before the Heat made the playoffs, I was a big proponent of them missing it. I did say multiple times that I prefer the 2% chance that Cooper flag and people laughed at me. We see how that worked out. But I I’m not even one of those people that likes to brag about being right. Like I think that’s pretty stupid because I I wish I was wrong. I am a He fan first, not a guy who wants to be right first. Like I’m mad that I was right. I wish the Heat would have went into the first round verse Cleveland and kicked their ass and I would have been thrilled to be wrong. I would have been up here showing you all the receipts of me being wrong gladly cuz I’m not one of those people that that cares about being right truthfully cuz most of the time I’m not. But unfortunately this time I was. I wanted to miss the playoffs. I wanted the lottery pick the the extra lottery pick because we also would have had four tradable first round picks right away. And of course right now the Heat only have three tradable first round picks. Now, we could get that fourth pick back by asking Charlotte to send us our 2027 pick back and then we send them a different first round pick and maybe like a couple second round picks to incentivize them. But then it’s like now we’re losing even more assets just to correct mistakes that we made in the past, which is what we’ve been doing for years. And that’s why we have no assets to begin with. We have to trade second round picks to get off of Dwayne Deadman and Kazak Paula and all these other guys because we keep making mistake after mistake after mistake when it comes to asset management. And now you’re sitting here in an off season when a guy like Giannis Sedan Nakumbo may be available. And don’t you think it would have been nice to have a fourth tradeable first round pick already? Because now it’s complicated. What happens if the Bucks come to us? Hey, Jannis said he’s interested in coming to the Heat. What do you got? And we’re like, well, right now we have three first round picks, but we could get a fourth. Let’s just talk to Charlotte first. And guess what happens when the Heat are talking to Charlotte? The Bucks are going to be on the phone with the Spurs or the Rockets or the Thunder making deals because those teams already have their first round picks. If you’re watching this video, then you are an elite ball knower. So, why not take advantage of it with my bookie? Listen y’all, throughout the NBA playoffs, I’ll be using their live betting feature to smash the DaVon Mitchell overs and smash the Rudy Goar unders and then using their early cash out option to stack up the profits. If you want to do the same, make sure to sign up for My Bookie using promo code MM50, which will instantly boost your first deposit. And then once the games wrap up, you can check out their casino, which has blackjack and slots and roulette. You name it. Bet on anything, anytime, anywhere. Only with my bookie. Now, let’s get back into the video. So, what now for the Heat? We run it back. Maybe we get Kevin Durant, who I really wanted and I still would really like on this team, but it’s going to feel a bit anticlimatic knowing you could have had Cooper Flag. Maybe you you could have had Giannis if you had more assets. It’s going to feel a little anticlimatic to get the 37year-old. I’m not going to lie to you. Although, maybe our chances got a little bit better of getting him because he did tweet out just about 30 minutes ago, tanking must be really stressful on an organization. Sounds like a hero to me because we know that Heat don’t tank for better or for worse. I’m genuinely a guy that doesn’t like tanking because I don’t like to mess with the basketball gods, but I would have liked it this year as I stated. Now, I’m not saying that they should have maybe sat Bam and sat Tyler Herro in the playing games because you can’t do that. You can’t reasonably expect Aris Bolster to try to lose. You can’t expect these players to try to lose these games. So, I did say, “Yeah, play everyone and whatever happens happens.” And so far what happened kind of sucked. And I kind of wasn’t necessarily hoping they would win that last playing game. Although I was really very thrilled at the time. Don’t get me wrong. Dave DaVon Mitchell had me hyped when he was turned into Steph Curry. But that’s why I enjoyed it that night because I knew the good times was not going to last for that much longer. And here we are today where it got even worse. So I don’t know. It’s going to be an interesting draft. Obviously at number one, the Mavericks are going to take Cooper flag. The Spurs have a very interesting decision at number two. Dylan Harper is pretty much the consensus number two with other options being like Ace Bailey or VJ Edgecom. But obviously from the Spurs side of things, they don’t really need guards. You got Darren Fox, you got uh Stefan Castle, Deon De Deon Vel there. So it’s going to be very interesting to see what they do. I do think they should probably still go best player available since they they’re not a great team. They literally missed the playoffs last season. So, I do think they should take Dylan Harper, who probably honestly has potential to be better than both Stfan Castle and Darren Fox. But to be honest, maybe they don’t even keep the pick. Maybe now that they have such a high valuable first round pick, they could flip that pick to Milwaukee for Giannis and not have to send Stfan Castle. Because before, maybe they would have had to send Castle in like three or four first to get Giannis. But now they have the number two overall pick in the draft. That is super valuable because a guy like Dylan Harper does look like he can be a franchise changer as well. Let’s not forget that just because this draft has Cooper flag. So now maybe the Bucks say, “Hey, just give us Dylan Harper. We don’t need that much else.” And now the Spurs are sitting there with a team of Darren Fox, Castle, Jiannis, WBY. Good luck stopping that for the next 10 years. Oh, good god. That would be scary. From the Philly side of things, who who the hell knows what they could use? They don’t really need a guard either, but I think Dylan Harper would be better than McCain and Tyresese Maxi probably just because the defensive potential is a little bit higher. But if Harper goes number two, I could see them maybe going Ace Bailey at number three. Maybe he’s like the the Paul George replacement if they try to offload that Paul George contract somehow. It’s going to be difficult. Paul George is like the worst contract in the league. But yeah, Charlotte, I could see them pairing VJ Edgecomb with, you know, LaMelo and and Brandon Miller. That might work out kind of well, actually. But yeah, it’s going to be an interesting draft. It’s a rough night for the Heat, but hey, I I’ll take the pos the positive optimistic route this video and just pray that everything happens for a reason and things will get better. It will not stay this bad forever, Heat fans. And that’s my final message. Anyways, make sure y’all like the video, comment your thoughts down below. I’m very curious to hear what y’all think. And subscribe cuz I’m on the grind to hit 8K subs. All the support is greatly appreciated. So, I will see y’all in the next one. Peace out, everyone. Trying to get that dead face. Do it on my own. I don’t need no dead weight. Had a killer off. Yeah, I need a head space. You know this homegrown don’t a fan.

  1. This is the end of Heat Nation, y'all. We will never get an talent like Flagg, Harper or Bailey as long as Napfather is still in charge for two re reasons:

1- The league has an grudge towards Pat Riley for leaving the Knicks for the Heat and for getting LeBron and Bosh to form the big 3 with DWade.

2- Pat Riley and Coach Spo will never try to tank for an top 4 pick.

Now watch this team give Herro a max deal and go after an aging, no leadership KD for most of our picks, that's the only way for them to outbid every team that has more than us. If not, then get ready to running it BACK AGAIN๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  2. The Mavโ€™s wouldโ€™ve won either
way cause they gave up the ultimate sacrifice LUKAโ€ฆlol the draft is rigged ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ

    Weโ€™re definitely still paying
    for the big 3 chips

  3. I dont think the Heat would have got the 1st pick if they were in it. It would have gone to the Mavericks regardless. The script has been written. Mavericks ownership are powerful figure. It's so rigged. And the Spurs now has a super valuable pick to trade for Giannis to build a super marketable team there. The 76ers will also have a high pick to help the team stay relevant and competitive.
The teams that were supposed to have the highest percentage to land the top picks, none of them did.
Why can't the fans get to see the actual ping ping pong balls in the lottery being picked out? Wouldn't that make it even more exciting and entertaining for TV. Of course, they can't do that if they want to rig it.

  4. The Heat weren't going to get it because Adam silver did it to thank the Mavs for advantaging the Lakers

  5. ANT. The Tatum Achilles tear changes the entire complexion of the East.

Miami Heat are in an EXCELLENT position.

    76ers got the 3rd pick.
    Knicks making a deep run.
    Orlando doesnโ€™t make big moves.
    Cavs are frauds.
    Bucks are imploding.

    Tatum just popped his Achilles.

We are the best destination for a star.

  6. MIami could have packaged Flagg for Giannis. Oh well. At least Miami got to prove they were a play in 10th seed. Congrats.

  7. F the young players, I wanted the Heat to have two picks for assets. We might see the craziest free agency in a while๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ

  8. Yk how everyone always talks about remembering where you were when certain things happened this is one of those moments. This is my 9/11

  9. There's nothing positive about this team! And being "positive" isn't going to change the fact that this team, as it stands, currently sucks

  10. Anthony, So you telling me that not only did we give away cooper to the Mavs, but might also indirectly end up giving Giannis to the spurs cause of us making the playoffs, it gave spurs more assets to trade with Milwaukee?? ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

  11. Making videos of us getting mad because you missed out on a pick that was going to the mavs no matter what ๐Ÿ˜‚ let's stop embarrassing ourselves and actually thinking we were going to get a first ๐Ÿ˜‚

  12. This franchise is taking years out of my life. Whether you believe we would be f win the lottery or not, the oblige way to gurantee we don't is to NOT be in it with a chance. And these morons coaching and running your frsmchise found fake Jesus to go on a superficial run at the end just work to ti screw ourselves out of getting ourselves out of this quagmire we will be in fit years to come. Just fuck right off Heat!

  13. I don't care if y'all think I'm negative at this point but here's the truth. Pat needs to retire. all recent moves point to that fact.
    – "Tyler Herro is ignitable"
    – "Trade for an aging star" (I'm not against a trade or KD by the way, i Just don't see why we cant at least push for a GIannis instead.
    – Why on earth did we not prioritize the draft instead of being fodder for the Cavs? Who by the way called out our "Ignitable star" and he responded with an egg.

I love Pat he is an absolute legend but my word Is he out of touch!

  14. As long as Pat the idiot Riley together with the cheapo bast@rd Arisons are running the Heat, our MYSERY as fans continue! Pat seems comfortable to stay as President until he's a 100 years old! That MF is using his salary as President if this miserable team as a pension! From all of us Heat fans to both of you …. F@ck you Pat Riley and f@ck you Arisons,

  15. Dude mavs is on the west. If we didint won the play in. Our position would be the position of chicago bulls. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  16. The only way back to relevance is a rebuild. Acquiring draft picks is the name of the game now. We can get alot for Herro and Bam. Rebuild around Ware. The 2028 pick is unprotected. We don't need to be in bad position by then. The "We have enough" mantra is cool when we're making the finals as an 8th seed. It's not when we're crawling into the playoffs and being beat by 50 at home
