Disgusted that garbage front office gets the number 1 pick after this year.
There was 0 chance we'd get number 1. The league doesn't care about the Raptors. Plus doesn't it seem strange that Dallas sent the franchise to LA and they got #1? Plus the worst teams not only drop but were in order. Pushing Brooklyn and us down. They didn't even show the draft picks just brought out the envelopes

GARBAGE. Raptors at least have a decent team to fall back on for next season, 9th can add a decent bench guy who could start in 2 or 3 seasons, likely a back up C (two decent options could be around at #9, both with less than perfect games). 39th might have a back up PG worth taking a run at? Even without a major add, I think the Raptors are a playoff team next year and I'm excited to watch them, clearly NBA doesn't want Raptors to get ahead though.
Every time a huge prospect comes up, the nba never rewards the tankers. And i actually agree. Its an incentive to not ruin your season and piss off your fans. Wemby went to the Spurs when the team was bad but not trying to tank, zion went to the pels when AD screwed them over, but they weren't trying to tank and tge macs were actually trying to get in the Playoffs. It was also a move to win back a huge fan base that was a definitely a money move, but tankers should never be rewarded for stinking up the joint for 82 games. The spurs got the number 2 pick because they also got a bad luck season not die to tanking, and the 76ers also jad a horrible luck season not die to tanking which gave them the 3rd pick.
I don't think 9 is as bad as it seems. After the 3rd or 4th pick its all about fit. I think the Raptors get the center they want at pick 5 and the same guy at pick 9. Because of fit.
We need a Center. Trade the 9th pick and Dick to Utah for Minnesota’s 2025 pick and Walker Kessler. Also add Marc Gasol to the assistant coach position. Bring in Stan Van Grundy to run the defence.
