quarter as you see the Mavericks number one overall. Keep in mind the Spurs now have two lottery picks at number two and 14. The Sixers in the top four, number three overall. Then it’s the Hornets, Jazz, Wizards, and Pelicans in the top seven. And joining us here on the set is former Duke star Cooper Flag. What a wild ride for you, huh? what was going through your mind as you were experiencing this and seeing the draft lottery take place? Yeah, I mean it’s just an incredible experience to be here um to have this opportunity. Um I mean this is what I dreamed of since I was a little kid. So just to be here it’s an incredible experience and a great opportunity. Yeah, you’re working out for the draft now. What are you working on in order to get better so when you step onto the floor as an NBA player you’re at your best? Yeah, I mean I think for me it’s always about just getting better all around. Um, it’s not one specific thing that I’m looking at. Um, it’s just a collective group of things and just trying to get all around better every single day. The Dallas Mavericks made it known that they look for two-way players. Guys defend. That’s what bring home championships and that’s why they traded Luca Dantes. You are a two-way player playing alongside Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving. What you looking forward to? Yeah, I mean I think like I said this this entire experience for me has been um amazing. Um, so going forward, um, I’m just going to look forward to that. Like you said, being a two-way player. Um, that’s something that I’ve done since I was a little kid. So, I’m just going to try and keep doing that to the best of my ability. Cooper Dallas is a this is a good team. Did you see this coming? I mean, you must have thought about where you might be going, but I’m I’m surprised, but but you’re going to a very kind of built team already. That’s pretty unusual for for what I think being the top pick. Yeah. I mean, I think for me, I didn’t try and think about it too much. Um, I feel like it was kind of out of my control. So, um, I’m just kind of going through the process like everybody else and just trying to enjoy every single moment because we only get to do this once. Congratulations, Cooper. Of course, enjoy the entire process as we lead into June and potentially a new home for you, which would be in Dallas. Cooper flag, thank you so much. Thank you.     sketchy how out of nowhere Mavs traded Luka for nickels , then winning draft lottery. NBA is rigged, this is a scam. Luka should leave LA, maybe go East.

    Coop going to an already built team that has AD & Kyrie. In my lifetime I saw this movie before where a built team had the #1 pick & it was so obvious it was simply MAGIC!!! The Lakers already had Kareem, Jamal & another "COOP" named Michael Cooper.

    it doesn’t even make sense for Dallas, a play-in team to have the number one pick. The league isn’t even tryna hide the rigging. As least the Cavs had the worst record before drafting LeBron. This is a sloppy move from the NBA.

    He is wise!! not assuming of being drafted by dallas or anything.. now regardless if this is rigged or not.. he deserved a competitive team.. i hope dallas wont messed this up!

    This is a lifeline for the Mavs, but a highly risky situation for Flagg. With this draft, all the downside is placed on him. You can see the concern on his face. The Mavs are in a win-now situation and just traded Luka Doncic. That means they have no long term plan and are unashamedly disloyal. They just tossed a franchise player. Flagg's career is now more unclear than it was before the draft. Is his development the Mavs' focus right now? What do they look like in 5 years? Contrast this with the stability and planning Wemby could do when Spurs won the lottery. Like I said, this is great for the Mavs, but highly risky for Flagg.

    Well it doesn’t matter what everyone thinks…. Hopefully you guys think the same way when Lakers wasted their draft pick on LeBron’s son. They could have used that to pick up a big man for center so that way AD can play his position which is Power forward. Other than that I’m happy for the Mavs. They got a perfect guy to replace Luca. Kyrie, Klay, AD and Flagg. Not a Mavericks fan but it is what it is…..

    Spurs moving up to 2 is dangerous for the league. Nobody mentioning that. Have a chance to get 3 ROY in a row. This could be a Jordan-esque dynasty.
