care of the basketball right now with the 20-point lead here in the quarter in play. And Jimmy Butler starting the fourth quarter on the bench. Devenzo with five on the shot clock. Offensive foul. Notice that’s the third on Dante Devenzo. Here’s Katie George. Yeah, Dave. Steph Curry just told his teammates during the last break, we need to have the same energy and body language as we do when we’re winning. Let’s go on a run here. We can do this. They were 0 for six from three in that third quarter. So obviously they got to start getting something to fall from Keith. They go inside here and Kaminga misses the layup. Golden State just five for 19 for the game from behind the arc. Minnesota’s made 11 more threes than the Warriors. Well, out of bounds off Reed. Good deed by Draymond Green. Buddy Heel spinning on Devenzo and getting the layup. And again, it doesn’t have to be all threes right now for Golden State. Don’t go bear on the floor. There are opportunities as you keep your dribble, you can get all the way to the rim. Speaking of getting all the way to the rim, and we’ve seen that a bunch here. The Warriors defense just hasn’t been as good as it needed to be. No, they have not stopped the ball at the point of attack up the floor. Got to contain penetration first. Force that ball to be kicked at. Missed free throw ends a stretch of 19 consecutive makes. They had a second chance opportunity, but Pajki continues to struggle from three. 0 for four tonight. Four for his last 24. 0 for seven are the Warriors this half. They didn’t make a half in the first half of game three. First time in a playoff game since ‘ 07. A miss by Connley. Excellent look by Anthony Edwards. Pajki fouled by Edwards. And that is five on Andrew. 18-point lead for Minnesota. And a foul in the back court. Charges. But they needed his shooting in these two games. And he’s a combined 3 for 20 in games three and four. Minnesota kicking it around the park a little bit, but so are the Warriors. A turnover by Heel. Alexander Walker around the screen. Reed’s pass intercepted by Heield and Heield blew the layup. Pajki is there though with the stick back. And Edward’s consistency throughout the playoffs this season has been his biggest area of growth this year. Finance’s an excitable guy. So in years past, there were a lot of ups and downs. Kind of living and dying with everything that happened in a playoff series. He said, “Now you can sense a calmer, more even approach because he knows what to expect.” Finch says, “At still has to bring us the energy he always does, but he’s more tempered this postseason, and you can tell in his play and production.” Yeah, last year had such an impact on him and and this whole team to again make underneath, fouled by Draymond Green. By the way, the Warriors have not had a made three-pointer since the 449 mark of the second quarter. They’ve missed seven straight. They get a two-pointer from Draymond Green. 12 points for Green. Can’t trade baskets at this point. Golden State has to get stopped, but Minnesota is just getting the ball into the gut of the lane immediately up the floor with some of the gamles that Golden State is taking right now on the perimeter. A lot of easy baskets for Minnesota in the second half. Not so much in the first. Heel doubled to Draymond Green. Sets his feet front rim to three. McDaniels with the rebound. Minnesota on offense shooting almost 70% from the floor this half. Kaminga going for the steal. Couldn’t get it away from Randall. Randle triple double in game three. 26 points here in game four. Ober hits the deck. Shot clock down to three. Randall doubled. Crosscourt pass Denzo after it was tipped by Butler. And that’s a 24se second shot clock violation. Well, Minnesota not in a hurry on that possession. and they were running that clock down. End up though with a force at the end. Golden State with a stop. The time is now for the Warriors with seven and a half to go. Kind of feels like the last opportunity for a big run here. Entry pass to Butler catching deep in traffic. Didn’t even look at the rim. Just kicked it out. Shot clock at five. Pensky spinning, missing, and defensive rebound Connley. And you can see with Jimmy Butler really just not aggressive looking for his shot in the lane, how difficult a position it puts in some of these role players trying to make plays off the dribble against an elite defense. Conley again to the basket. Well defended by Kaminga out to McDaniels. Two to shoot and McDaniels missed it. Rebound Green tracks it down this postseason if they close this out. Six and a half to go, leading by 20. And their stars leading the way. Julius Randle again with a floater. 58 now between Edwards and Randall. Good block by Go. Edwards still on the bench with five fouls. Now a foul called and after getting 60 combined in game three, they’re back to 59 tonight. They just had their biggest lead of the game, but Draymond Green inside gets the basket. Jimmy Butler still stuck on nine shot attempts, 12 points. Again, just doesn’t look himself here. Certainly not. And you think about what they’ve dealt with in this series. They had no made threes in the first half of game three. They’ve got no made threes in the second half tonight of game four. Clay Thompson part of a signing trade with the Mavericks. So obviously no longer a member of the Warriors and with an injured Steph has a combined three. Steve Kerr took over as head coach and that was in the NBA finals when they lost to the Cavaliers in 2016 in danger of a third. Fortunately grabbed that hamstring. He’ll get on the plane though with the team. He’ll re-evaluate him on game day and we’ll see if he plays Wednesday in game five. If not, they’d need obviously a win to get to a game six back here Sunday. Empty possession though for the Warriors. The Wolves defense has really stepped up here in the second half. 19-point lead for Minnesota. 5-minute mark. Connley logs for Randall. Catches underneath the basket and a foul called as Conley was trying to Green missed it with a left hand rebound. Go. What’s really interesting about Minnesota is Anthony Edwards is clearly the star. Julius Randle’s been an all-star. The other guys know their role. Mike Connley knows his role. Jaden McDaniels defend, rebound, maybe Kevin Knox in the game. And so it looks like Steve Cerr is going to give his starters the rest of this game off assuming the comeback attempt won’t happen and try to hopefully be at full strength on Wednesday. But that depends of course on the health of Steph Connley’s three no good rebound Moody. Yeah, who knows? I mean everybody’s different with these injuries but having some experience with it that would really be hardressed to imagine Steph Curry back for game five. I think all along they were hoping to somehow get this to a game six at minimum where he could reemerge. Post for three. Still 16-point game. Four minutes to go. We’ve seen comebacks throughout this season, regular season and postseason. First three of the half for the Warriors. couldn’t post hits it and you know he he was very good for them all season but Steve Gerr feels like this series a little too fast a little too physical for him but when you’re that desperate for shooting you think maybe he could have found an opportunity to get a few minutes he knocked down the first three he gets and Moody no baskets in this series.

  1. Tired of seeing Podz get all these minutes with nothing to offer offensively. Meanwhile, everyone else gets benched.

  2. Seriously, that was pathetic!! I swear, play the last crew you had in and leave the rest of the walking dead out for the majority of the game and I bet you win. They'd run them ragged.

  3. Butler served up this series to the Wolves on a Silver (Adam) platter. Not looking to shoot made me think that something else was in the mix.

  4. Bro I’m not even a warriors fan just like to see every game in the playoffs… Buttler can’t make any shot just free throws all free throw pts and #2 did so bad the last game that the announcer said when he made his first basket that he has more with 2pts than what he had in game 3

  5. Is this the new era basketball which the youngsters says it's better than the old school basketball? I should say this does not look like a playoff game. It looks like a high school pick up game.

  6. The Timberwolves straight took over the Warriors house. SMH….. That 3rd quarter was a beast. Curry needs to stay out, no need to play game 6 and get hurt worse. Warriors gave a good run. enjoy your fishing 🎣 trip…… Better luck next season 😊

  7. The Wolves lack of focus early in the 4th was embarrassing. Jesus….ACT like you know how to manage a lead! And FFS….STOP trying to feed STONE HANDS the ball while he's moving!!! Rudy has ALWAYS had shit hands.

  8. I cannot understand why steve kerr is not using or using his bench players… 😢😢😢… there's a lot of good players there… he depends so much on steph only, thats why during this time of situation the flow of the team becomes disaster…

  9. They can be great without Step. However, they lack consistency at a truly detrimental level.

Sad, because they, actually had a chance to go further.
