LeBron or MJ? Who’s your NBA GOAT? 🐐

LeBron or MJ? Who’s your NBA GOAT? 🐐

NBA player at the beginning of each season, what is your ultimate goal? To win a championship. I’ll go ahead and give you what you want to hear. Thank you. What other goal would there be? Keep going. Keep on going. Okay. Anyway, so at the start of each season, you want to win a championship, right? And if we think about some of the greatest winners of all time, right? Would you say that winning a three pete is different? Very so. So, how many times has that happened in history? Do you know? Few. A few times, right? And if championships is how we measure greatness in the NBA, how could we say that anyone other than the only man to do it twice in one career is any worse than anybody else to ever play the game? I understand that we treat Michael Jordan like a god who was a oneman army against the world. He’s not. It’s a 12man roster 15 back then. So much contextually needed to talk about team versus team that I think that’s the general error of why way we talk about basketball in general is saying we measure success via championships. That’s part of it but it’s part of a larger hole to understand a player his impact his skills weighing all that individually. So I don’t think championships are the end all be all. When you’re looking at Jordan and LeBron and they’re like kind of neck andneck in pretty much every category except winning, which is what the ultimate goal of an NBA player is, to

  1. Typical zesty Jeffery 😂 made it about “michael three-peating instead of “the bulls three-peating. LeBron is a better all around player period, he has the championships, stats, records, accomplishments. I mean we can go list for list as to who has the more of everything 🤷‍♂️

  2. The guy with the laker shirt is an enlightened individual when addressing the subject. The other individual is narrow minded on greatness otherwise Bill Russel would be at the top of that discussion without even mentioning he went on to coach the very same team. The eras of play are too distinct to legitimately enable the GOAT label!

  3. BUT There are two goats in my secret stash and you know why. They are Dennis Rodman and Vince Carter 😂😂😂

  4. Take LJ and replace MJ on the Bulls… is there a double three-peat? Better yet, take MJ and replace LJ on all of his teams… does MJ just get 4 championships on those teams?

  5. Bill Russell 11 Championships 1 as a player/coach! If Championships is the criteria, this theory goes out the window for Jordan! Not to mention Kareem with 6 Championships, several college CHIPS & HS CHIPS! Finally, if winning the CHIPS is the criteria why was Jordan named the GOAT years before he won 1 CHIP! I love both MJ & LBJ, but according to your standards, neither is deserving to be called the GOAT!

  6. Lebron's main issue was his loyalty to his home team for almost a decade. That cost him a bad front office who didn't help him, ended up with 0 championships and just carrying a weak ass team year after year. Had there been even 5% better roster help and he won at least 2 in that decade, the narrative would have been different.

  7. This guy has never touched a basketball in his life and got the nerve to throw skill in there dude MJ & Kobe had no weaknesses on the court he looks like an IT guy cut it out😂

  8. If it’s a team game and LeBron is specifically being regarded as the best player to make his teammates better..then why is he always getting the excuse that he doesn’t have great teammates. That is an oxymoron to me.

  9. 4 championships vs 6 is not a HUGE difference.. also, MJ took breaks during his career and if it’s all about championships, Bill Russell is the GOAT then, if it’s about winning, he did it the most. Lastly; we can’t act like LeBron hasn’t played WAY better comp, and didn’t have Scottie Pippen & Dennis Rodman his whole career. Bron had Wade for a few years and Kyrie a few years.. other than than that he hasn’t had nearly the team Jordan had. (No AD is not him)

I believe they are both GOATS.

  10. Out of LeBron 3 championships full seasons played…

    Give lebron 1/3 credit.

And give 2/3 credit to the other star
    players LeBron played with ..

LeBron doesn't have a finals game that he took over in the 4th quarter to win it.

  11. mj was a one man show. To be a big man is to get boards to a pg is to make assists so if you wanna argue that that doesn't make sense scottie never Ave more than 15 while d wade Ave more than 20 kyrie Ave 20+ too. Mj also got dpoy and mvp same year, so you could also argue that jordan was the best defensive player and offensive on that bulls team, making him a one man show. Oh, BuT hE HaD pIpPen WHEN PIPPEN WENT TO TRAILBLAIZERS HE WAS COOKED. Also longevity take place into brons accolades for example most tov but he has one of the best iq Most points but not the greatest shooter top 5 in assist but most tov top 5 in boards but lazy getting boards (nowadays)

  12. Kobe is my 🐐 trolls actually bring up his last few seasons just looking at stats he literally wasn't even 100% he only retired because injuries he didn't have the chance to finish his career correctly.

  13. Wrong that 1 guy could bring the teams confidence down have you seen thunder down the grizzlies ja Morant went for a poster dunk on dort and look what happened blew a 26, 29 point lead just by that 1 guy not being on the floor. So WRONG. Yes it's not a 1 man team but most of the time it just takes that 1 or 2 other players that keep the team going. So you're I would say 60 to 70% wrong.

  14. It's not that it's all about rings but it's like he said at the end. They are pretty much neck and neck everywhere else so what's the glaring difference, championships
