But this trade would see the Miami Heat receiving Demar De Rozan and Devin Carter and the Sacramento Kings receiving Andrew Wiggins a 2028 firstround draft pick and a 2031 second round draft pick. So, in my personal opinion, uh this would actually be a pretty good trade for both teams to make. I think that in my personal opinion, uh, both the Heat and the Sacramento Kings sort of need to have a change of scenery this off season, uh, to hopefully get back in the playoff conversation for next year and then hopefully win a round or two and have their aspirations set a little bit higher on an NBA championship. So, I do think both of these players, Demar De Rozan and Andrew Wiggins, could very well be on the trade market this offseason. Now, could there be a world where these two players are traded for each other? I actually do think this trade makes a lot of sense. Now, if you are the Miami Heat, you’re getting back to Marty Rosen, who actually had himself a pretty awesome year this past year. Uh, pairing him alongside Tyler Hero and Bam Out of Bio uh to sort of form a big three for the foreseeable future is probably an upgrade at this point over Andrew Wiggins. Andrew Wiggins isn’t the player that he once shown a couple years ago uh back in that Warriors Championship run. So, I would say at this point, his value isn’t overly high. So that’s why the Kings in this case would be getting back a future first round pick which I think if you’re the Miami Heat, you know, three years from now that draft pick probably will be outside of the lottery. If I had to predict how Demar Rosen would kind of fit in with this Miami Heat team, but I think the Heat are in desperate need of some change. I think Demard Rosen offensively speaking brings a lot to the table. I think ideally speaking, you want him to be a number two or number three option offensively on a championship caliber team, which in this case he would be behind Bam Adabio. And you can make the argument uh behind Tyler Herro as well. So, if Demard Rosen for the last little bit of his career wants to be a number three option offensively, this could be a pretty nice fit. Now, if you’re the Sacramento Kings, perhaps acquiring Andrew Wiggins could rejuvenize him a little bit. Maybe he uh, you know, flourishes playing alongside Damon Sabonis and the rest of this team. That’s possible. But you’re getting back some pretty good value is a future first round draft pick as well as a future second round draft pick. They can always use those picks to their advantage or trade them later on. So, if I had to pick a winner of this deal, I’d probably go with the Heat because they are getting back the best player and a player that I like a little bit more than Wiggins.
