Some good news here for the Philadelphia 76ers. They will keep their pick in the 2025 NBA draft. And the lottery balls kind of fell in their way. They’re going to pick number three overall. And the Dallas Mavericks, you can’t make this up. They trade away Luca Donuch. They had a 1.8% chance of getting the number one pick and they get the number one overall selection. They win the draft lottery. They’re going to take Cooper flag. As far as a prospect who I really like for the 76ers, and I’m keeping in mind the future of this team, knowing that Jared McCain and Tyrese Maxi can be building blocks, it’s Ace Bailey out of Ruckers. I know there’s some boomer potential, but the length, the athleticism, the player who he can develop into really on both ends of the floor, he has shot making, a little bit of shot creating to his game. And sometimes, yeah, he can play CTE type of basketball, but this is a player over time who can develop into a really good one for Philly.

I'm cool with Bailey but I think if they're trying to get Antetokounmpo then it's this pick and/or McCain have to be involved.
If they stay here and make this pick, I think you need to go Harper or Edgecombe regardless of Bailey being a better fit for the current roster because they're locked in as immediate impact players. Bailey has some learning to do.

Kobe Bryant came into the league and found out he had a lot of work to do to get his game up to speed . In his first season he barely scored ten points a game !" It was his off-season work and dedication to get better that allowed him to become the hall of fame he became !" Same thing with Maxi . He dedicated himself to off-season workouts to improve his weaknesses . Ace bailey will have to do the same . He is a forward whose handle needs improving ,his passing also as well as decision making . This is not unusual for a teenage phenom . Remember ,these kids are not college juniors or seniors !" They're one year removed from highschool !" A lot of development is needed for them to approach their potential . Trade tht pick and mccain and future 1st and some pick swaps for greek and off load PG.. bucks have building blocks with baily and mccain … then get embiid trade value up and trade him at deadline(hopefully he back to all star level) you then have maxey, grimes, and greek ..then whatever you get back for embiid..
