No intelligent person would think the NBA lottery was ever rigged. Too many peeps involved to avoid the conspiracy being leaked or to avoid whistleblowers revealing covert attempts to rig it. There would be way too much at stake once exposed. Lottery rigging simply cannot be argued by a person with a modicum of intelligence. How can the NBA trust that the law firm certifying the lottery wouldn't turn on it and expose the rigging? It simply does not make logical sense for the league to risk its credibility.
Trading Cooper Flagg for Tyrese Maxey or Jalen Brown is grounds for a physiological evaluation

Bad advice. Who said you have to pick a lane this off season? You draft the guy and see how it goes. Cooper is only 18 and will have a long career. If it doesn’t go well you can always pivot later. Also this draft has taught us that having draft picks isn’t always the answer. Getting young good players in a trade is the best option
3 times. 3 times a team has traded their star to LA and proceeded to receive the 1st overall pick. Odds of that happening are infinitely small. Its no longer a coincidence. I might straight up boycott the NBA

I actually feel that flagg can fit right in to this team. I think 2 years with this core can compete for a ring and coop can mature under bonafide ballers as vets.

Yesterday's draft just put Spurs in the pole position for the Giannis sweepstakes. Milwaukee gets Castle, Harper plus more and is ready to rebuild. Giannis remains the alpha on his team and can win multiple rings. Fox wants to contend straight away and has his wish granted. Wemby will have loads taken off his shoulders. Giannis for Flagg is just nonsensical. AD and Giannis do not fit, 3 max players is too restrictive, Nico doesn't want to piss off the fan base again, there's no shortage of reasons for Mavs to keep Flagg.

Citing a Big 4 auditor isn’t a strong defense—those firms have had their own legal issues and have been fined for various reasons not above board. I get that you’re building your channel and don’t want to burn future bridges, and can respect not indulging in conspiracy theories. But saying the league doesn’t benefit from stars going to big markets isn’t honest either, no one is that bad at their job *cough Nico, without some assurances. The NBA is entertainment first, sports second industry. Why not make the lottery process fully transparent? I’m fine with Utah not getting rewarded for tanking, but let’s call it like it is.

Dallas getting Booker for Flagg would be a super team flop all over again. We already saw that in Brooklyn with Kyrie and Phoenix with Booker.
I don’t think it’s horrible for a gifted rookie to play and learn from all time greats who are still good players. Against popular belief. You don’t need to be on a dog crap team and suck and make stupid mistakes left and right to become better. You can become better just as fast by being on a good team.
But I’m also on board with trading AD. Issue is you never retain Kyrie.
If I’m Dallas I keep Flagg no matter what.
I open the season with all 3. Flagg AD and Kyrie. That time last year was considered a conference favorite before Flagg. That way you retain Kyrie as an asset. If the season is a flop you can sell AD and Kyrie in offseason. If they flop they probably have a high pick again.
That way Flagg learn a full year with them. He gets another top 10 pick. Plus assets from AD and Kyrie trades.
If they do good and make a run keep them together
