So, could the Houston Rockets be trading for Giannis Entmpo this 2025 NBA off season? Well, here on the screen is a tweet from X by NBA Central, which says, “The San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets are teams to watch for Giannis and Titakmpo per Brian Winhorse ESPN.” So, just for this video, I want to talk about the possibility of Giannis getting traded to the Houston Rockets. uh what it could potentially look like and just kind of give my brief thoughts and opinions on this news item. Now, this news did spark from a Sham Shirania report earlier today uh that Giannis could potentially be moving on from Milwaukee Bucks this off season as he sort of is evaluating his future and is open to the possibility of playing outside of Milwaukee. So, if Giannis does in fact ask for trade or perhaps the Bucks just put him on the trade market, I would fully keep an eye on the Houston Rockets as a team that could very well land him in a trade package this off season. First and foremost, the Rockets have draft capital at their disposal uh potentially um even this year, right? the the Rockets could very well put together a trade package centered around a lot of high-end draft picks that as they have that draft capital um at their disposal, but also too they have lots of young players, right? They have Jaylen Green, for instance, he could be on his way out. Now, there has been some reports about them wanting to keep him, but I think if Giannis is in fact made available, uh Jaylen Green would almost I would almost guarantee would be sent Milwaukee’s way. Uh they have Sangun as well who I don’t think they would be as keen on parting with. But of course if it is for Giannis, you sort of have to see what happens there. But this Rockets team is very talented. This Rockets team also too had a pretty disappointing 2025 NBA playoffs falling to the Golden State Warriors in round one in seven games. So I fully do expect the Rockets to be pretty active uh this off seasonason in regards to improving their team. And if they get lucky in the draft lottery today and just want to make a big-time splash, then a Houston Rockets uh trade for Jiannismpo could be the blockbuster news of the summer.
