Can’t wait for that to start. Uh, meantime, some news and notes. Giannis, according to reports, open-minded about exploring a trade off the mean streets of Milwaukee. And Dallas winning the draft lottery. They had a 1.8% chance of getting that top pick. And Jaylen Rose, wouldn’t you know, they got it. They feeding a lot of conspiracy theories. Meanwhile, uh, when that Giannis news came out, uh, the man to my right says, “Don’t leave, Giannis.” Coming from someone who’s been there, would you care? Uh, would you care to elaborate, please? Well, what I wanted to really tell him to do at this moment is to really just stay silent, stay still, and stay vigilant. I think a lot of times when you speak too early in a situation, it kind of puts a lot of pressure on yourself and all your friends and family and stuff like that. So, I think you should just stay silent. This is a big decision for him coming up. You know, what he’s going to do next in his career. He’s been in Milwaukee forever. So, you know, just leaving is it’s going to leave a sour taste in all the fans mouth. And I I totally understand from the situation in Orlando what that would feel like. So, you know, just stay put for a little bit, Giannis. What’ you think when you heard that uh that story? So, as someone unlike these guys that wasn’t a superstar, I have a unique thought when I see a superstar that wants to leave because a lot of times when you put together a team, we build it around the strengths and the weaknesses of the best player. And when you’re in a locker room, when you look at your best player, it’s like we supposed to win because we got you. I know Dame is out and Dame is dealing with an injury and I know he’s going to go somewhere and be spectacular wherever he is and I know he’s been in Milwaukee 12 years and everybody wants to win a championship and the goal is to win it every year. But guess what? You don’t get to win it every year. And I always had more respect for the players who stayed where they were as Hall of Famers, great players, MVP level players, and found a way to get it done blooming where they were planted. Well, and I 100% agree with you. You know, it bothers me and I get annoyed at people on television. And they’re like, “Well, it’s time for Giannis to leave Milwaukee.” I’m like, “Wait, y’all never said they don’t get they not winning. Y’all didn’t say that about me. Y’all didn’t say that about Patrick Euing.” Like, all of a sudden, today’s players, we have to help them win the championship. Like, I’m like, “Yo, when I was playing in Philly, I don’t remember guys on TV saying they’re wasting Charles Barkley’s prime.” I’m like, “No, man. I’m going to keep battling. That’s my job. The 76ers, I I want to spend my whole career in Philly. I hope he spit. Reggie Miller, I admire him. Dirk Nisky, I admire him. Uh those guys, they finally got it done. But this notion that when a great player, whether he’s won it or they’re not winning, he’s got to move. I’m like, he don’t have to move. I would love to see him spend his entire career in Milwaukee. Do they win a championship? They won it one time. I hope they win it again for his sake. But if they don’t, this notion that okay, we’re not winning here. I got to go. I hate that and I’ll always hate it. All of that being said, do you think Milwaukee is going to try to move him? Well, I if I was if I walk, the first call I’d make is to Dallas. Uh because uh if if Cooper Flag goes to Dallas, are they contenders next year? No. That’ll be a great way to start the Milwaukee rebound because you got to understand something else about Milwaukee. Dame’s out all next year basically, too. So you’re like, “Okay, we” and this would be a good situ. Dane’s going to be out. We get Cooper flag. Maybe it’s some other a good young player of some draft picks. Now you can really start your rebuild cuz you’re going to be in the lottery again next year, too. You get Cooper flag, some draft picks, you’re going to be in that lottery again, and then like I say, Dame’s out all next year more than likely. So the What’s the best way to start your rebuild with Cooper flag and some draft picks? I like that idea. But if I’m Dallas, I’m keeping Cooper. It’s He’s a once ina-lifetime player. Uh you go to match him with Kyrie. A Ky out off pretty much next year, too. Oo. I mean, that’s the thing. You got to I mean, of course, they expect him back. They expect him to come back mid mid year, but he’s still it’s still going to take him a while to You don’t just come back to the NBA if he’s sitting out all year cuz number one, Anthony Davis health is a legit question. Uh, but if you put Cooper Flag on that team, they’re not gonna win the championship next year. I love Cooper Flag, but AD and and Cooper Flag half the year with Kyrie, they’re not going to win the championship, but if you give me AD, Giannis, and then Kyrie come in later, we got a better team. Um, and as you saw from the from that post that we put up there, they are uh Dallas expecting not to deal the number one pick. So after we said about us dirt we’re never leaving TNT holding we’re never touche Chuck I’m just saying it never say never back to wrap things up in just a minute Chuck’s been working on his body but what about his spirit it.
