The Celtics played over 70 playoff games in the last 4 years – that's 5 seasons in 4 years. Porzingis was sick, Brown hampered by his knee. The team was spent. NYK were not making the playoffs most of that time. So after a big spending spree in the summer, the fresher team won. Congrats to NYK for making their first ECF in 25 years.
