Giannis is going to the spurs for that second round pick

No he’ll go to Houston or San Antonio . S.A. Is the favorite and in turn Houston will get KD.
What the heat should do is trade down to either 12 or 19 move Rozier for either Ayo Dosumnu or Marcus Smart . Reroute Herro and Wiggins somewhere we can recoup at least a pick and future second or two .
By doing this you stock the cupboard with an extra pick(s) . Get a player that can start at the point . Free up the contractual future obligation . You may not be able to get the big two but you rehab a couple of guys value . Pick a gem or two in the draft .
Make another trade around Highsmith, Larson , JJJ, and Duncan get us another proven rotation piece .
Go heavy defense ? Herb Jones possibly IF he could be had . Sign a guy like Gary Trent Jr. and or N.A.W.

Giannis becoming a heat isn't that far fetched. From what I am hearing, Giannis doesn't want to go west, he wants to play in a big market, and he wants to be in a state with no income Tax! Only Miami fits all 3 descriptions. If we acquire KD, Giannis will force his way here ( without trading bam of course)
I think the Heat could have a Great shot. If Giannis wants to win and contend for Championships he's not going out West. The East is wide open and would give him the best path at getting to a NBA Finals
