If Washington is sub .500 will you be unhappy or sort of ok. As an example, I'm sort of OK with Portland's record last season EVEN though they blew their chances at a top 3 pick by winning too much… but they over-achieved. This next season Portland needs to be .500 or better. Is that true for Washington? Great video and appreciate your optimism. Feel free to trade for Portland's Forward Grant, Center Ayton. As a matter of fact, here is a trade that would work for you: C Ayton, F Grant, #11 Pick for F Middleton, F Smart, and F Kispert… Portland gets your 6th pick ;).
IF Wizards GM likes athletic players, he probably not taking Queen then. Which I don't think is entirely true. Bub wasn't a big athlete. 6 is a tricky spot, I think the top 5 are locked in after the combine. Flagg, Harper, Ace, Edgecombe, Tre. Could go many directions with 6, including trade up or down.
I agree with you about wanting to trade up but I think It'll take a lot more to move from 6 to 3. I'd say Bilal, Middelton and 6 would do it but that might be too much especially if we'd have to have Paul George for three years which would be really terrible. I think you might be sleeping on Knueppel a little bit. Yes he doesnt look the part but he's got 30 pounds of muscle on Tre Johnson and his true shooting numbers are better across the board. I'm really intrigued by how Maluach could work with Sarr. I think if Maluach can be a good 3 point shooter he's a no brainer pick at 6 but thats a big if. Queen is a really interesting pick but I worry about his shooting especially next to Bilal.
I'm a Suns fan and I'm just besides myself that after playing for the chip not so long ago they have fallen the way they have. Nobody even wants to play for them no more. Phoenix should be one of the top destinations for any sport. They seem totally lost.
Definitely have more confidence in this FO than in prior years. I always liked Dybansta more than Flagg. If we clutch that next year lottery we should be good to contend by 2028-2029.
