Jalen Green Makes Basketball HARD FOR NO REASON!! #nba #nbaplayoffs #houstonrockets #nbahighlights

Watch Jaylen Green. He just made basketball harder than it has to be. Cuz if we go back to that first screen, he already has Payeyton trailing behind him. So if he ends up curling off of that, he has all the space in the middle of the floor for Shangon to bounce past that. And now we can either fade for MIDI or get a lay at the rim.

The only way you’ll know how to make this read is by studying film and exposing your mind to the different reads you’ll see in games. The reason why you and Jalen Green are unable to execute in these opportunities is because the lack of studying and preparation.

Studying film will be what takes you from 2 points to 20 points per game and takes the high skilled to highly efficient. If you want to learn how to study film and use it to improve your performance, go to the link in my bio and join the DOR community where I will coach you 1on1 and teach you how to do so.

  1. It’s zoom action, it’s not a stagger. There’s no read to curl it when you’re supposed to get a dribble hand off

  2. Tbf GP2 was holding his jersey to stay connected so he really doesn’t have much separation. Still should’ve curled towards the basket though!!!

  3. You kinda called it wrong. JG didn’t want that action with the big in the tight space (he didn’t see an advantage for him). But if he did curl in and get the ball, Steven Adams had a lob or a layup because it was 2v1 in the paint!

  4. Absolutely right and if the defender commits to him then it leaves Steven Adam’s open for a dunk.. if he read the defense right it opens up so much more, this is little things that can make a star a superstar

  5. Just because he's athletic doesn't mean he has a high basketball iq. That's how most of them play now. That's why the product is trash now. 🤷🏽‍♂️

  6. Yall hating on this man for breaking down a play that half of yall didn’t see either.😂 But all the hoopers in the comments know it wouldn’t work. That’s funny! Even if JG “isn’t like that” ( not a rockets fan) the play is still there and if he’s in the NBA he’s good enough to hit a middy or give a nice pass to a big guy. Nice breakdown! Haters gonna hate, always.
