I would literally trade anything on this team for Giannis. Barret, Quickly, Dick, Barnes, Boucher, Ingram I'd be happy with any 2-3 of these players for Giannis. They have some players young players with good upside down the road that they could include Mogbo, Nwora, Shead, Walter and Wiseman. Go Raps Go. GET GIANNIS. Lock him and we are playoff contenders for several years

Giannis not leaving the east to go west, the eastern conference is fragmented right now Boston is to expensive,Tatum may not be the same , 40 year old LeBron carcass has to save Cleveland,76ers rebuild,Knicks has 2 year window to chip including this season,Miami will be broken up to a full rebuild Pat Riley likely gone & the rest don’t matter, Raptor’s have chance to eastern conference dominance if we can’t make it all work for next few years.

This sounds stupid but may actually be the deciding factor. But when Raptors beat Bucks in 2019 playoffs this to me stuck with GA. Because he seen a class act in a President and an excellent GM. But most importantly he seen them flip the team midway through season after KL adding Gasol that alone made GA realize this Franchise of Toronto goes to bat for their players and build around them. Not that Bucks didnt do that but from his point of view they didnt do enough. I say we have a 75% Chance.
If it's true he wants to come to Toronto and works with Milwaukee to facilitate the trade, he will not want the team to be gutted if he presumably wants to go to a contender. It'll be interesting to see who goes out (along with draft picks) and who if any comes back with him, similar to Danny Green in the Leonard trade.

NBA Draft was obviously calculated against all that & intentional tankers (read the NBA fine print = Entertainment only – they reserve the right to orchestrate). Look how many teams gave up big players before receiving 1st draft pick (Cavs after Lebo, Pelicans after Chris Paul, Pelicans after Anthony Davis, Mavericks after Luka).
We are waaaay further ahead than most think (Masai’s plan). Scottie is an emotional player & has yet to give his all – all season while developing new aspects – Next season he KNOWS it’s time!
Since you mentioned Cleveland, though their season ended earlier than almost anyone else expected, I remember the night in front of our fans where Tristan Thompson punked the team by pretending to run out the clock to end the game with an uncontested dunk over a preceived diss. It was right there that I hoped Cleveland would flame out of the playoffs, despite their great record at that time and to end the season.

@benrogers giannis already said in his interview he wants to go to a contender in a state with no income tax. so unless the ontario government willing to not tax giannis, or tax payers willing to pay 5 cent a liter to pay giannis the lost income at the gas pumps. giannis is not coming to toronto.
