Let him work and grind behind PG Maxey Embiid McCain see what it takes to make it in this league, I think he’ll be fine . Balls in his court, he has all the tools to be a star in this league .
The same thing people are trying to knock Ace on are the same exact reasons we passed on drafting Jayson Tatum. The difference is Bailey is actually way more athletic than Tatum and shot higher % from the field in college. So let’s not overthink this and draft the star wing this time.
He is 10000% worth the risk. He'd be surrounded with both talent and positive/high work ethic guys (maxey/McCain). Hed be competing with Edwards and both would make each other better and could create a nasty wing duo.
Ace played public school and went to an unproven program in Rutgers. He wasn’t one of those AAU to Monteverde to Duke guys. His game is all from hard work. I think Ace in a good situation with NBA coaching could be very good. He’s never experienced anything close to that.
Just take him. Don’t overthink it. If he doesn’t cut it, we’ll live with ourselves for drafting him. Would hate to not draft him and then watch him thrive elsewhere. Just take him.
Honestly I don't think so. I believe we can trade that pick and go from 3 to 5 and ask for their 21st pick as well and get more for our roster. I'd also trade PG to Brooklyn for their 18th overall pick.
Anyone who thinks Ace Bailey isn't the real deal doesn't know basketball. This kid will be better than Kevin Durant because he's a better defender. This is a freshman with mad skills who can really shot unlike overhyped Cooper Flagg. Nothing coming out of Duke is tough or durable. Every great Duke player gets hurt in the NBA which is sad to say but true. Grant Hill Elton Bland Jason Williams Bobby Hurley Irving Zion Williams and now Jason Tatum. I hope Nothing happens to Flagg but he's not the best player in the draft. The 76ers have passed up on too many great players like Jason Tatum. Please remember this is the same organization that drafted Ben Simmons over Jaylen Brown and Markell Fultz over Jason Tatum. I hate to say it but the 76ers will do something stupid they always do. Stay away from mom boys players because they lack grit and toughness so if you see a player with his momma always around be very careful.

I have a feeling Bailey will be drafted by Spurs at #2. And we end up with getting Harper.
