He’s the one person that the coaching staff and the teammates love to see at the line in a tight ball game. You can pretty much bank on these screen by G Bordon. You expect he’s going to find a way to pull through in the clutch. And an intentional foul there stops the clock. Yeah, no choice but to foul in that situation. Although that’s not the guy you want to send to the people. He drops the first one and that’ll put him up two. [Applause] Second one is good. Getting both at the line and it’s a three-point game. Huge free throws. Bumps the lead up to three. And now they simply have to guard against the three ball. The three from homegr. [Applause] Oh, an enormous three-pointer. The Nuggets want a timeout. Alexander does a good job of just staying aggressive and that just forces the defense to do something. He sinks the clutch free throw. So, he gets them both and it’s a two-point ball game. Just incredible confidence at the free throw line. That is how you win close games. The Nuggets want a [Applause] timeout. And it’s the Nuggets with the ball. Murray looking [Applause] around. Here’s Yic. Cash and tig. Huge basket right there. Joic needed it and he got it. [Applause] And the Thunder in possession here. Dorton finds Gilas Alexander. [Applause] Oh, he nails it. Gilas Alexander. Such a tough cover, especially at his size. Now 8 seconds separating the two clocks. The Nuggets want a timeout. What do you think, coach will be drawing up here? A chance to tie it up here. They just need a solid play right now. And coach going through his index cards to find one to get something going. Murray against Gilas Alexander to the wing on the left. They kick it out to Murray. And the go-ahehead bucket, no good. And the call will be against Nola Joic. And so he’s picked up his final foul and he’ll sit the rest of this one. Yeah, too bad he fouled out. But this team does have some depth at his position. So he goes two for two at the line and it’s a four-point ball game. Yeah, that’ll ice it right there. Not everybody can keep their composure at the line in such a big situation. And here’s Gordon from another possession, another assist. This is the best someone could run an offense. 10 pinpoint passes. Everyone involved. Every time he touches the ball, great things happen. And he’s now tied for the franchise record for assists in a game. A masterful performance. And now they foul and stop the clock.
