Cavs did better than expected, they were projected to be a play in team before season started, it’s still a young team, Donovan Mitchell is still young and not even in his prime. The cavs have a bright future

If anyone gets moved in Cleveland it has to be Garland. a clear postseason liability. He's a reigning All Star so he should garner a respectable return. The kid was a 40/50/90 guy for a while this season which is impressive and still young. But people target him come playoff time and he can't stay on the court.
Get LeBron and have him retire while getting Donovan to the championship
It’s not defense or offensive! I think it’s more so these guys don’t have the mental fortitude and physicality to compete at the highest level. It’s no longer a coaching issue it’s a personnel issue

Hard to judge a hurt garland, but with mitchell they lack size. Allen needs to go, his playoff history is a joke, destroyed by Embiid in 2019, 2023 Mitchell Robinson, 2024 Horford and 2025 by Turner. Solid player but nothing more. I predict they run it back, hope for better health, further improvement by Mobley and hope for better luck without Tatum in the conference.

The reason why Cleveland lost is because the social media Coach of the Year Kenny Atkinson was out coached by Rick Carlisle.He then criticized his players during the post game as if to say they are not like him.Donovan Mitchell said they let the City of Cleveland down.Did Kenny Atkinson let you down?😂😂😂
Three of their best players were hobbled. They should keep the team intact for next year and run if back. No need to be impatient.
Donovan Mitchell can't be your number one option on offense again. He isn't good enough to carry a team through the playoffs at number one.
The team gambled on him, and he delivered what he is capable of delivering.

They just need toughness. We need some poor Draymonds. Shoot I would even take a Dillon Brooks. I also disagree that the Hunter trade made us better l.We were actually better with Niang and LeVert. With Garland healthy I think we get to a seven game decision. I'm not mad at the roster we just need to add some toughness. It would be nice for Mobley to be vocal and demand more touches.

Simply put, the Cavs lost the playoffs because of injuries to "star" players and lack of experience

they couldn’t finish games. they sucked in the 2nd half of every game against Indy. Pacers were 3-1 against the Cavs in the regular season and they dominated this series. Pacers vs Knicks will be really good ECF.
Cavs missing a second option, Garland and Mobley simply just not that. Donovan may need a another shot maker to compliment his game so he can get over the hump, a guy that can make tough shots in big moments like D-Wade was for LeBron, Middleton was for Giannis, Jaylen Brown is for Tatum, Murray is for Jokic.. if Donovan is having a off night the Cavs are cooked.
I can’t look at Jared Allen in a Cavs uniform another season. I can’t! Every time the lights come on they’re always too bright for em. He’s body language is terrible in adversity and he’s soft!

This team needs to do what Toronto did in 2018-2019, go all in with a focus on defense. Fire Atkinson, trade Mitchell for a proven 2 way wing like Jaylen Brown or Kevin Durant with MVP level experience. Mobley (Siakam), Garland (Lowry), Allen (Gasol/Ibaka), deep bench. And find a championship level vet locker room manager like Danny Green.
Cavs should at least test out the waters for Brown From Boston
