Jaylen Brown 12 assists a careerhigh. had 26 points and eight rebounds and he had the pleasure of speaking with Ali Leforce after the game. You’ve been the MVP before, but you didn’t have to carry the whole load tonight. What an incredible team effort. What was it like seeing everyone excelling in their own positions to carry this load without Jason? Oh, it was fantastic. It was a lot of fun tonight. We came out, played team basketball. We got contributions from everybody and uh and it was fun. We know Jason was watching. Anything you’d like to say to your teammate? Yeah, that one’s for JT. Get well, bro. you never want to be without any of your players, especially one of your best ones, but we’ve gotten plenty of reps at that. And um regardless of who the player is out, each guy steps up and plays a different role. And so, we have multiple identities on both ends of the floor. And tonight, we’re able to tap into uh you know, one of the ones that we have uh without him. And uh we just got to continue to do that. Yes, they’re missing a big piece, but a team, a welloiled machine that uh has been in situations where they’ve played without him. And so, and they’ve played well, and we need to understand that. Seeing Luke step up the way he did, I mean, he was barking at the crowd in the third quarter. Like, what did that mean to see that? Yeah, he was unbelievable. I mean, came in and just seemed to be always in the right position and um seven blocks is crazy. And really stepped up when we needed him. So, it was big time for us tonight. Were you guys barking with him? Yeah, I was barking with him. Um it’s just fun to see him do that. [Music] Yeah, they stay alive. By the way, u by the way, Joe Mazoula said after the game of Christophs Porzingis, he didn’t play in the second half cuz he couldn’t breathe. So that basketball, no, he’s he’s really struggling. But Cornet Cornette stepped up. Everybody stepped. But I’m going to tell you something, man. They can win in Boston. I mean, excuse me, in New York because they can play free. They’re gonna have the best player in the game first and foremost, which uh Jaylen Brown. Who’s not better than Bronson? You crazy. Well, I disagree. You I mean, I love Bronson, but Jaylen Brown’s going to be the best player in that game. The amount of pressure that’s going to be on New York because I think it’s a mustwin for the Knicks in my personal opinion. and the and the amount of pressure that’s gonna be on those guys, man, it’s gonna be fun to watch that game. Celtics took game three at the Garden in New York. Uh never trailed, led by as many as 31 after dropping the first two at home. Um and so now they return there. The Knicks did take game four in their gym 121 113. This thing going back to Boston for a game seven. I say no, but I think the Knicks played happy tonight. You know, I think they they were happy in the position they were in instead of having that killer instinct, you know, season the moment. They don’t have their best player. You don’t let Jaylen Brown get off. You definitely don’t let Luke Cornet get off. They they weren’t focused. They play like, “Okay, we’re going back home to our place, which is a dangerous place to be in.” However, I think the others will play well in New York and I think it ends in New York. You got the last word, Jet. Yeah. You know, Anobi and and Muel Bridges did not make an impact in this game. And you know if they don’t make any impact in the next game. Yeah. OG OG was 1 for 12. Then then they will be going back to Boston because Boston Celtics there is no game plan on the defensive end. I said this at the beginning of the game and the telecast. There’s no game plan. Like if you double you seen it. If you double Brown you got shooters all around. You got you know Hower, you got Pritchard. You got White, you got Holiday, like guys who can make shots and make plays. So you there’s really no defensive game plan other than man up, guard your dog, guard your area, and and and come out on top. And but you have to have contributions for more than two or three guys to beat them, even without Jason Tatum. And that’s what makes them so difficult. You know what underdog said? What’s that? He looked at this and looked at those big leads the Knicks blew and he said, “You know, Boston could be looking at at this series and saying, you know, we should be up 5-0.” 100% in a best of seven. It was a good It was a good line underdog. It could be up 5. Chuck in a best of seven. What? That’s a Yogi Yogi. Yogi is We should be up 5. Up 5 in the best of seven.
