I feel like what’s gotten lost in the craziness of the NBA draft lottery over the last 24 hours is like the Mavs are now a top five team in the NBA with Cooper Flag. This team was already built to be a title contender and now you’re adding in Cooper Flag who is like the ultimate winning chess piece. The guy can do everything on the court. He’s got great IQ. He doesn’t need the ball, but if you give him the ball, he’s going to go to work. I mean, dude, a front court of Flag and AD is like break basketball type of stuff. the high low passing. They could run pick and rolls together. And defensively, nobody’s scoring on these guys. Not to mention, they still have Derek Lively, Daniel Gaffford, and PJ Washington. Like, if anything, I think Nico Harrison is in prime position to make a trade for another guarder win. Look, yeah, the obvious caveat here is when healthy because Kyrie is likely out until like January of next season. And AD is AD. Look, all I’m saying is Cooper Flag instantly makes this team a 50- win contender in the West. It just got real in Dallas.

But the thing is AD wanted to leave LA because he didn't have a center and if they play him at center and Flagg at pf then ad might wanna leave again. Also, I doubt you could play him at the 3 because of size, but if you manage to, then you got a legit top 5 starting lineup in the league.
