Derrick White on Celtics Game 5 Win, Playing for Jayson Tatum | FULL Postgame Press Conference

BOSTON — Celtics defeat Knicks 127-102 in Game 5 and now force a game 6 in New York on Friday Night.

Derrick White had a monster performance in the Celtics victory finishing the game with 34 Points on 7 Threes. White spoke to the media postgame and was about the team trying to fight back and win this series without Jayson Tatum.

“We got a lot of talent in that locker room. Seeing our brother go down was tough and he texted us before the game. He’s cheering us on.”

White was asked what his message is to people writing the Celtics off after Game 4:

“I hear nothing I mean there’s always talk … We got a lot of guys that have won a lot of games at a high level. Obviously there’s no replacing JT and what he does but we believe in the guys we got.”
