for you guys. Uh we didn’t do a good job attacking it. Um we obviously worked on it today and we’ll work on it some tomorrow and we got to do better. Is there a starting tie like that? What can you guys do to get him either going with the ball or make him more of a weapon? We uh we got to get on the wall. I mean, I’m not going to tell you what we’re going to do, but we got to do better. And you know, part of it part of it is, you know, he’s got to he’s got to be in the fight, too. You talked a lot about, you know, you you’ve gone against zones this year. You’ve had success against a lot of them. Just what what makes a 3-2 a different challenge, which is obviously dealing with more length up top. I mean, how does it how does seeing a 3-2 versus 23 change what you’re dealing with to create a different challenge? Yeah, it’s it’s it’s a different look. They got bigger guys at the top. Um, we’ve just got to attack it better. Have you uh you guys faced a defense like this against Hallebertton before in the past or is this just because the playoff? Yeah, we’ve seen everything with with him. I mean um I mean for the last three years really more the last two years as we’ve gotten better. Um but we’ve got to we’ve got to respond. on the flip side of that backto-back 40point games for Mitchell. Um is that an area where you looked at throw more guys at him? Obviously creates other openings potentially like is that something you just have to live with or everything’s on the table. Um know living with consecutive 40point games is not something we’re looking to do. So, but we got we’ve had multiple guys guard him. We’ll continue to do that. Um, he’s a great he’s a great player. We got to make it hard on him. How do you guys get uh Pascal more involved? Is getting Pascal more involved with the shot facility a priority? Just low scoring games the last two games for him? I mean, getting getting stops and rebounds would be a big help um for our entire offense. you know, the the rebound margin, um the points off turnovers, it was like 31 to nine. Um you know, 18 offensive rebounds is 18 opportunities for us to rebound the ball and get in transition. And so, uh you know, credit them. They’re they’re they’re they’re attacking the offensive boards. Um but we’ve got to do we’ve got to do a better job of blockouts and retrieving the ball. Pretty simple. Are the nights after playoff losses any word’s not easier, but because you’ve been in this so long, do you kind of automatically kind of know what you’re looking for when you start looking at the wise of a game? Well, listen, I mean, we just watched the film and one of the things I said to the guys is, you know, this situation is hard. This situation is hard. this situation is hard. That’s that’s why they’re not pulling people off the street to play and coach in the second round of the NBA playoffs. So, you know, hard things are hard. And so, um, we’ve got to rise to a lot of these challenges. And it’s not easy. I mean, you won’t play this time of year, um, you know, you got you got to be ready for some difficult times. So, you know, we’ve got to we’ve got to bounce back uh the right way. We got to have the right mindset. Um and we’ve got to have the right attitude throughout. How can you be better against it? I think we’re just stagnant. I don’t think we just uh we didn’t attack it with enough force and um it’s nothing we haven’t seen before. I guess how different is the challenge? You see more two three than you see 32 like more or less? Like what what makes it a different challenge? What makes it something that takes getting used to when you’re used to seeing it flipped? Again, I think they just try to slow the game down and it presented it as challenges, but you know, I think we shot ourselves in the foot a couple times. We didn’t attack it with enough force. Um um there are definitely spots that are available in the zone and again, you just can’t sit there and just kind of wait for something to happen. You got to make it happen. How do you guys uh slow down? Um I mean, he’s going to shoot the ball 30 times a game. You know what I mean? It’s just get to the free throw line. I mean, it’s not so much um a factor of a, you know, slowing slowing him down is one way of putting it. I think you just got to make it hard run. You know what I mean? I think he’s going to get to his shots and get to his spots, but just um you know, keep throwing different looks at him. How is it a different game offense, defense on the glass out there? [Music] I mean, it’s a boxed effect, but if you watch the film, it’s really their guards and their guys crashing from the uh perimeter. You know, they’re coming in 100 miles per hour making contact. So, um, obviously it presents it challenges, you know, having another sevenfooter out there, but I think it’s going to, for the most part, it’s a it’s a fiveman bicep. Have you seen Tyrese guarded sort of face guarded this heavily before? Yeah. What do you do to help him get the ball? Um, make contact, scream for him in the in the back court um in the half court. Just being more intentional about getting him open, but again, it’s nothing we haven’t seen before. What do you guys feel like you did or did not do well enough in those four four moments created by that throughout the game? Uh, oh, you talk about when Tyrese is like face guarded. Yeah, they they box and won a couple times. I mean, again, we’ve seen that a couple times this season. I think they you kind of sit there again kind of waiting for stuff to happen as opposed to making happen or trying to get the ball as opposed to going downhill and scoring. So, I mean, um, again, I think I think the word you keep hearing me say is force. You got to attack, you know, what they can do with a lot more force. that last night. Made it a bounce. Yeah. Uh it’s just an interesting challenge, you know, just learn how to, you know, counter, you know, counter that. I got to do a better job of, uh, keeping myself involved as a screener. Um, you know, creating chaos, creating movement myself, you know, I think I’m getting the habit of just standing right now, which doesn’t help anybody. Plays into what they want. So, I got to do a better job screening off the ball, moving without the ball, uh, cuz they’re not helping. And I think I can get other guys open. know watching film la you know in the last whatever 12 hours whatever the case may be uh I’m seeing a lot and uh you know just figuring out how to counter it the right way too similarly unique to you guys up top you think if you took you guys out of your game why was it so challenging yeah I mean it’s an interesting dynamic right a lot of teams don’t play it 3-2 and they don’t play with a sevenfooter at the top you know so uh we just got to figure out how to how to go at it you know we walked over some stuff and we saw some stuff through the course of the game that we feel comfortable But but um it’s just to slow us down, you know, that’s what zones are. Um you know, to slow us down. Did a good job of that. Uh but we see a lot of uh a lot of opportunities for us to attack it. So just got to take advantage of those and just be better over the course of 48 minutes cuz we know we’re going to see it. We’re going to see, you know, that that that’s their recipe. You know, that that’s you know, the winning formula after the winning last night. So we know we’re going to see from them defensively. So just got to counter it the right way. Just four points. So your first home play out loss. How are you feeling after a night like that? sun came up this morning. So, uh yeah, you know, it’s un unfortunate. You know, didn’t have a very good performance uh last night, but u you know that it’s more more film for me to look at, more stuff for me to figure out and uh it’s all part of the process. So, understand it’s not what I want to see for myself, not what I’m sure anybody wants to see for me. Uh you know, but I’ll take it on chain. I’ll be better next year. How much does Moby just change the game being out there? You seems like a couple occasions when you really did got to get downhill, you met him on the way. Yeah, he was able to get stuff that not too many. How does his presence out there change what you were able to do and kind of change your approach? Oh, well, I mean, I didn’t change my approach at all. I think he’s a good defender. Uh, I made some plays. Uh, kudos to him. You know, I think he’s a good defender, but um, you know, I I think there’s still areas for me to be better, you know, that aren’t revolving around Evan Moy. So, um, you know, I just got to find my openings and just play the way. How’s your wrist feeling? Uh, it’s okay. Yeah. Uh there was one play where there was a jump ball and you guys I think it was big verse small so like you guys were going to win but Max like lined up right next to you like you basically have you ever been like almost face guard on a jump ball like that before? Yeah, it’s happened a couple times and uh yeah he knows what he’s doing. You know he’s doing what he’s told. Uh a lot of gimmicks and and and all that stuff but it’s just part of it. Just got to counter it the right way. you guys even up two kind of gave a lot of respect for team you and Rick for kind of saying that one almost feel like you had expected them to sort of throw a counter punch like this and now having that information like how do you sort of take that into mindset like into game four how do you just adjust I guess yeah I mean we talked about it right I told you guys after both game one and game two they’re going to respond you know and at game two they threw a big punch we just weathered the storm game three threw a big punch start the game we weathered in the first quarter just weren’t weren’t able to do it through the rest of the game. Um, but this is a team who hasn’t lost a ton. They haven’t lost two games in a row, let alone three games in a row in a long time. So, um, yeah, we knew they respond. They had a great performance. Uh, yeah, but we’re still in a good spot. You know, if I would have told you a week ago, we’d be up 2-1 with a game at home, you would like where we are. So, we understand there’s there’s areas for us to improve and I’m sure they feel the same way. Uh, but uh, you know, I look forward to tomorrow. was going to be a good game and u oh this is a great team and uh I think as a competitor you want to play against the best and this is the best team in our conference and you know we knew they were going to respond the right way and they did and so now it’s on us to respond the right way. T we obviously almost always, you know, hear from you after games, you know, whether swim, whether it’s loss, whatever. I guess why not last night and was did anything about last night make it tougher to do? No, I mean, y’all I talk to y’all almost after every game, you know, if I’m not made available, it’s not always my decision, you know, so uh you know, I can’t control it. I mean, you’re talking to me now, so any question you have about the game last night, you can ask me right now. Uh just was not made available last night. And I’m sure people wanted to hear what I had to say after last night’s game, but I’m here right now to talk to you. So, if you want to ask me, more than welcome, more than welcome to. I don’t I don’t run away from any questions. Uh, you know, I’ve went through harder times than last night. So, uh, whatever you have to ask, I’ll be there. And if there’s commentary around, you know, what uh if me not talking last night, people are more than uh more than uh allowed to come and approach me and have a conversation with them with me about it. But, you know, can’t control can’t control everything. But again, I don’t run from anything. Got questions to ask them right here.

The bench gotta come in and hoop. Remember rick when tyrese scores 20+ points it leads to a pacer win
I hope we get back to playing Pacer Ball attack that zone !! Take game 4 !!
Just one game. Go win the next one
Last night, The Cavs with their injured players back out and playing like there is no tomorrow. Hopefully the pacers can deliver that same energy back at cleveland in Game 4. Don’t let Up!
Hali took the night off and it shows…he only took like 8 shots.
Your face shows your fear, tell the truth. Cavs are a juggernaut and now that they have their full roster you are fooked
Everyone has to be better, that game made me question if I like this sport anymore, after 30 years… just so ugly, maybe I should look into hockey or baseball, nothing could be as bad as that game 3
Gotta come out ready, all of us, fans included. Cavs think they're better. We gotta put them back in their place. #LetEmKnow game 1 and 2 was real. Go Pacers!
I fully expected one or two games that looked this way. The playoffs are about adjustments, I’m excited to see the game tomorrow
Pacer's fans, if y'all are really interested in what y'all team has to do to win this series, Hoop Insiders is the best video explaining the odds…💯💯💯
every game they just sleep through a quarter
Well bounce back I'm not worried
Ty needs to get going. The game winners are awesome.
Gotta get those 50/50 balls
Man, these reporters ask terrible, uninsightful questions. Bring back Mark Patrick!
I EXPECT THE PACERS TO BEAT CAVS ON SUNDAY NIGHT, IF WE LOSE I'M NOT WATCHING ANOTHER GAME. I LOVE MY PACERS & WANT THEM TO WIN IT ALL BUT THEY HAVE TO WANT IT EVEN MORE. LETS GOOOO YES-CERS BEAT CAVS 1 GAME AT A TIME.
The Cavs got their nucleus back on the floor and the Pacers got toasted at home. It'll be hard to get their confidence back now. We will have to see but its going to be much tougher for the pacers to get a win now.
Be ready tomorrow must win game
Play Bradly at the 5 with Myles and Bryant playing the 4 when they play 2 bigs at the same time.
Fucking show up !! You cannot start the game lethargic and not focused and not ready to play this has nothing to do with coaching grown ass men getting paid lots of money do your job !! U mess around and let this team get life and confidence ,it's gonna be another long summer just saying!!!
I am a huge pacers fan and I know this team they will use this motivation very hard and come and win game four. GO PACERS!!!!
