Chuck had thoughts after what he saw in Game 4 betweek Denver & OKC 🗣️

Number one, I I thought what the NBA did to them was unfair. Uh making them play late Friday night, then an early afternoon game. I thought that was unfair. I truly believe that both teams had to do it though. Uh yeah, but they got more depth. Uh they got a much uh they OKC got 12 players. No. Well, that’s that’s number but and they’re younger. But also the Denver has never addressed their backup center situation or their bench. I think that’s one of the things that hurt them last year because he gave out a gas last year against Rudy and Big Cat. Uh, so I don’t think it’s fair uh to blame everything on the Joker, but he has not played well and I think he’s wearing

  1. Dang. I didn’t know Chuck can be like this. Realizing fatigue is easy to deduce but also factoring schedule and team depth? Salute, OG Chuck!

  2. I agree that game time starts should be consistant, but both teams have to do it. Just because denver dont have the depth isnt OKC's fault. Might be one of the good reasons why the GM and coach was fired before the playoffs

  3. Joker , Gordon , Murray and Braun have to play 100 percent effort at all times for them to have a chance. It’s the bench is why they lost today. Westbrook is the only guy that would get any minutes for okc off the bench

  4. Here’s is the thing. Denver has to slow down pace. They’re not winning with this high tempo game. Jokic should stay close to the rim and start posting up and kick it to others. They have to use the time and prevent the okc from running. They need to go old school.

  5. Yep the proof was in the gameplay – they ruined the product by rushing them. They can afford to add an extra day rest every now and then. These playoff games were going so good until very recently

  6. Those are the kinda stuff that actual NBA analysts look at and take into consideration how it affects teams and players. Well done, sir Charles.

  7. As someone who doesn't follow basketball closely and relies on Inside the NBA for all my basketball knowledge, when I saw that there was a game running at 1pm my local time, I was surprised. Never knew NBA games started that early!

  8. I saw one stat during the 4th qtr OKC had 35 bench pts meanwhile Denver only had 8. That right there is the difference. Wallace killed em he had like 5 or 6 threes off the bench. Denver had a 6 pt lead heading into the 4th too they just wore down cause they rotation is so tight. They have to play more guys regardless cause their main unit is truly wearing down.

  9. Denver needs to hire more players. I think teams will start doing this now. Okc brought in their team of soldiers and the starters get 4 minutes of rest.

  10. Denver gotta stretch that bench and get some other guys going. We also have to remember the coaching change and seems like the team is running the organization and not the staff.

  11. just say he didnt play well, no need to make excuses for him… if he ran out of gas last year and again this year then its him

  12. this relates similar to the lakers-wolves series. game 3 was played on friday night and game 4 was played on sunday afternoon. this isn't me giving out excuses. this is me pointing out similarities. besides, the NBA uses back-to-backs during the regular season anyway.

  13. Chuck sits up here & cries for his 30 year old MVP Nikola Jokic but he constantly puts down 40yr old LeBron who’s accomplished way more than Joker will ever. Charles Barkley is just another corrupt media puppet playing favorites.

  14. It's not ideal, but also, Denver has done a terrible job with their roster since they won the chip. Not sure how that's the NBAs fault.

  15. This is a ridiculous argument. Every NBA team has 15 roster spots. Whos fault is it when a coach chooses to only play 6 to 8 out of 15?

  16. Game 4 was not good for the players or the fans. That first half was the worst offensive performance I’ve seen in modern NBA history.

  17. CHUCK POINT WAS RIGHT ON THE MARK. KENNY ALWAYS TRYING TO SOUND SMART WHILE AT THE BERY SAME TIME SOUNDS LIKE AN ENTITLED IDIOT.🤪

  18. Knicks and Celtics had 4 and 5 days rest because they finished their series in a timely fashion. The warriors and nuggets left it late and now struggling to stay fit and keep up. The 4 days rest for the Knicks was crucial to them being 3-1 up rn. Guys like OG and bridges got to fully heal for tatum and brown
