Now, from the New York standpoint, this has been a series about the Knicks knack for the comeback. All three wins coming after the Celtics had built double-digit leads in the second half. On the Boston side, two words, Jason Tatum, how will they respond to the loss of their leader to Monday’s ruptured Achilles? We head to Boston. That’s where we find Ally Leforce. Good evening, Ally. Good evening, EJ. I mean, when it was confirmed that Jason Tatum had underwent successful surgery to repair his Achilles tendon on his right Achilles, everybody was devastated. Not just because he led the team in points, rebounds, assists, and steals so far in this postseason because he’s been the definition of durability in his eight-year career. He had never sat out a playoff game before one game last round. And the 10 games that he missed in the regular season were the most in his career. So of course the estimated timetable has been for a return for an Achilles rupture is 8 to 12 months practicing around 8. Could be back as soon as 8 to 12 on the court doing basketball activities. Kevin Durant took 18 months. Klay Thompson took 14. Kobe eight months. Of course Tatum has said that Kobe is his idol. He was his mentor. They worked out together. So, if there was ever a time that he needed to channel that Kobe mentality, it is certainly right now to make a recovery. And this Celtics team knows that they can’t just win with Jaylen Brown picking up the slack. It has to be a win by committee. And coach Missoula told us, if there’s one thing we know how to do, it is win with But it’s like he’s trying to run a one ban out. [Music] This is a [Music] make. All right. All right. And that’s why we were all surprised that the Knicks were playing so well against them because the Knicks hadn’t beat them in I think it was nine or 10 straight games prior to the playoffs. So this is still a super dangerous team. That guy right there it could get 20 points on any night. They have still five six guys Ernie five for sure that could get 20 points tonight. So how do you even Arby you know those shots are going to start the night knowing now that Tatum is there? Oh, Al Horford. Yeah, it’s going to be they got to play defense. That’s what they got to do against Brunson. If they want to win tonight, they got to stop Brunson from hitting them wild shots. I do. They’re only shooting 33% in the series. Meanwhile, on the New York side, 5-0 on the road in this postseason, eight of their 10 games decided in the clutch and they’re six and two in those games, 3-0 in this series in clutch games. That’s fivepoint margin with 5 minutes or less to play in regulation or in let’s not forget the Celtics are home tonight too. That’s how they’ve been getting it done. And Brunson has been the the main guy. But do not forget about the contributions Muel Bridges has made. Jaylen, what was it like watching Muel do what he did? I’ve seen him uh since 2015 and I’ve seen the way his work ethic has grown each year, everything he does, how psychotic he is with his work, it all pays off. I’m so proud of him as a a teammate at VR College, you know, cold adversity that he’s gone through this season and doing he’s never complaining.
