Whats crazy is that everyone watched OKC build a super team drafting Lu Dort, Chet, the J wills, Cason Wallace, adding smart additions like Alex Caruso Isaiah Hartenstein, Joe (all after getting Shai) and STILL having 52 picks in the war chest. And yet they continue to roll out this super tired argument you have to star chase. You HAVE to. Bruh. Wemby is literally coming off a blood clot issue. We will have 19 yo Harper, Fox, Paul, 20 yo Castle and bunch of talented dudes. Let them grow and cook. Wemby is a supernova. If he comes back healthy, with this squad, we are making the playoffs. Then we go into the summer with SIX draft picks at our disposal with the first round being a pick swap with the Hawks who will probably barely miss the playoffs again and will fall in 10-14 slot again which becomes ours and then we get the #1-3 pick 😂

I feel like people are not understanding the first and second apron.. they’re so enamored by fox, Giannis, Wemby that they don’t take an account for depth and salary. Just to acquire Giannis the Bucks are gonna try to gut the core of the spurs. Spurs don't need Giannis. Back up slowly. Everyone assumes that they don't have enough now, when we have not yet had a full year with Wemby, Fox, Castle, Sochan, Vassell, Johnson, Barnes, etc…not to mention the #2 pick.
Honestly, as long as the Spurs add a better than league average shooter who can defend and then one dynamic big, they should finish in the top 3 of the west next year. So what is the mad rush to deal for Giannis unless the package is right.

Spurs ARE NOT trading Castle and have no interest in Giannis. He doesn't fit the timeline of the team. He's great, but not what the Spurs need, at least for what it would cost them.
