You could argue that LeBron’s greatest accomplishment isn’t the stats, the accolades, the achievements, the MVPs, the rings. It’s his durability. To think that this dude has played almost 2,000 games, almost 300 playoff games, has played for 22 straight years, and has never missed a single playoff game. That’s absurd. That’s right. During his career, LeBron’s teams have played in 292 playoff games, and LeBron, he’s played in 292. Again, on average, this dude has played almost 85 games a year for 22 straight years. This dude’s 69, 250, 260 lb. He plays almost every game for 22 years. Not to mention his play style. He goes to the rim a lot. He’s very aggressive, physical, all that kind of stuff. And this dude has never missed a playoff game. And of course, part of this is luck. You look at Steph Curry, Jason Tatum, Damen Lillard. They all got hurt this postseason. We all know that they all work hard. They put a lot of effort in. They try to take care of their body. Sometimes freak injuries happen. But outside of that element of luck, one of LeBron’s greatest accomplishments is that this dude shows up every day. He works hard. He puts in the effort. He works out. He takes care of his body. He doesn’t cheat the game. Like you can say whatever you want, but this dude’s in his 22nd year and he’s getting to the stadium five hours before the game. He doesn’t need to do that.
