Spurs, OKC, and Rockets will all be bidding for Giannis if it comes to a trade. I'd expect a deal comparable to what the Knicks gave up for Mikal Bridges. None of them would want to face Giannis on an opposing team.
The Spurs already made their trade splash with Fox. I've been a Spurs fan for 40 years. I find it highly unlikely that they'd pursue 2 major trades in the same calendar year.
I don’t want Giannis Antetokounmpo on the Spurs the money is just not gonna be good. I would just wanna build through the draft and get specific players that are specialist especially shooters. What we really need is a center a back up center

(If you say no to that, then you’re a die hard Spurs fan and can’t see past your own bias) However, I’d still rather draft Harper and go for someone like Naz Reid. Who knows, maybe we get Knueppel at pick 14. Vassell, Knueppel, Reid, Wemby would be decent enough shooters, especially surrounding Fox, and we’d have a very deep team. I’d prefer something like that to Giannis personally
Having watched the Spurs put forth talented young teams the past 3 years and get nowhere, adding another talented young player in Harper doesn’t fill me with confidence for the near term. It would be great to snag one of the established stars to play tbe 4.
Warriors should make a deal with for Kuminga. He's not worth the #2 pick in June but but something should be worked out b/c Kerr doesn't like JK. They should not have drafted him. He will be playing for someone else next season.

You don't get Fox a 28 year old all-star and you rebuild along with Wemby?? You got probably the best package with 2nd pick & Castle, you get Giannis who is top 3 players in the league and will be top 5 players for the next 5-6 years. Spurs can be a dynasty win now with Giannis as the first option and in 2-3 years when Wemby hits his prime he can take over as the first option and Giannis as 2nd option (he is still in a rookie contract). The spurs can be a dynasty for the next 10 years maybe win 5-6 🏆

It's not an issue of shooting, it's an issue of shot selection. He shot way too many 3s off the dribble where he shot in the 20s%. Coaching will get that worked out, and with Castle and Fox's abilities to get into the paint he could get more spot up 3s
Draft Harper then look to trade Vassell and 14th pick for a legit PF who can defend, rebound, and shoot the 3. Find a backup center in free agency or trade as well and they'll look a lot better if Wembanyama gets over the clot issue and plays full seasons
I don't know what the lakers are going to do because it's bad news for this lakers franchise they are in Sirius trouble for the next 6 years san Antonio and the mavericks, the thunder top tier teams. To dominate the Western conference for years to come. So believe me, when I tell you the lakers, all right, going to be a subpart team for the next six years
Giannis is the 2nd best player in the league and an all time great. Him, Wemby, Fox, Castle would instantly turn them into a Playoff team and Wemby wants to win now, not wait.
We must also remember that there's no history of extremely tall men having long, healthy careers in the NBA. Win now because we don't know how long we have Wemby for.

As a Spurs fan – we stay the course. Load up on young talent. Dynasty run begins in 1-2 years.
I can see them trading down to 5 with Utah.
But not for Markannen instead for a 1st round pick next year maybe.
