LeBron On Passing Up The Last Shot 😳
How did you handle criticism for not taking the last shot? I just stayed true to what got me to that court. I knew I was taught the game the right way as a kid because we won. It worked. I won three state championships in high school and I got in the NBA and there was a lot of guys that never won a state championship that never won a AA nationals. And I was like, “Oh my goodness, I absolutely was taught the game the right way. I could have averaged 50 points a game if I wanted to my junior and senior year, but it was never about that. It was about how can I maximize my teammates? How can I get the most out of my teams in order for all of us to be successful? And I felt like in the pros, I couldn’t give up the essence of what made me fall in love with the game and how I was taught.

Well now he knows highschool is a lower level than the NBA and that's why he wasn't as successful in the NBA as he was in highschool
He's lying
Fans only want to be entertain and don't care about what's right which is crazy
This is why he passes up the last shot

Chhhhuuuuuu sorry I'm allergic 🤧 to bullsh1t
This is one of the reasons why US players aren't as good as European players in team basketball. US players have more physical talent but when it comes to playing winning basketball it shows why guys like jokic, Luka, and Giannis are considered the world's best players right now. The world's top ten players right now are way more foreign players than US players.
Teammate. Trade them.

"I won 3 State Championships?"
No floppy, your team won 3 State Championships.
People try so hard to make it seem like Lebron was scared to take the last shot. No…he is playing good basketball, the correct play. But people idolized Kobe for taking horrible shots with 3 hands in his face. They remember the ones that go in but not the hundreds if not thousands that clanked off the rim
And this how you stay healthy for 20+ years
It’s called he didn’t want to be remembered for missing last shots
Playing it smart
LeFlopArtist has always disappeared when the lights were the brightest.
Compare Lebron James to Magic & Bird. M.J. a shooting guard, so no double team, take the shot Jordan & Kobe Bryant, did what they was supposed to do.
Damn he sure forgot those lessons!
You don’t get to become the the scoring champ AND top 5 in assists by ball hogging and going 9 for 35 some nights. Hate him all you want but he played the game fundamentally the right way. The way most fathers teach their sons to play.
I’m a LeBron supporter but this mindset cost him more than he knows. 27ppg is an average a player of his calibre should have just for the simple fact he has the ball so much and can score at will on the drive. He should scored more imo. That would shut up so many of the narratives about him as well
Team player
Maximizing Austin Reaves is the "right way" to get your team bounced in the first round
Dawg. That mindset shouldve changed when you got to the league. You cant compare high school to nba. Now you have a losing record in the finals
Not really sure he made any of his teammates better. Most players #'s actually went down after they joined a LBJ team. But that's just my opinion and not really a knock on his play style….
He was SCARED 😰. that's why he's the sheep. MJ did the same thing and he scored over 50 and took the last shot. GOAT 🐐 status.. You will never be a goat 🐐
Talkin about how people in the NBA didn't have high school championships?? But they had NBA titles!! You were 6'8 in high school,, that's why you won championships,, give the other guy the same amount of money if you pass the last shot to him, you take that last shot if your the franchise player 🏀 just an opinion
Weak
That's definitely delusional if you're telling the truth who did he get the most out of stat wise you hurt the team more than help not when you go through more players then any star in the history of the NBA so look if that's true then why do you trade them if you make your teammates better he point blank kills careers not help guys career stop it that's delusional.
LMAO, HE GOT TO PROS N ALL THAT TURNED OUT TO BE BULL💩 HE PROVED HE WAS TRASH, HE PROVED HE IS A NARCISSIST., HE COULDNT MAXIMIZE SHIT BECAUSE HE HAD TO SHOW HIS CHICKENSHIT MENTALITY AND INSTEAD OF WORKING FOR IT, HE RAN FROM TEAM TO TEAM, JOINED HALL OF FAME TEAMMATES AFTER HALL OF FAME TEAMMATES. NEVER WANTED TO EARN IT, HE WANTED WHAT WAS EASY….& IS FLOPPING AND PRETENDING LIKE HIS PUNK ASS IS HURT ALL THE TIME THE RIGHT WAY? 😂😂😂😂 PLEASE, RETIRE B4 SEASON STARTS..
This is why Nash won mvp over Kobe. One player maximized himself. The other maximized the 4 other players on the court and the nba needed that type of basketball brought back.
Don't make sense, you can maximize your teammates the whole game but come the final seconds take the final shot
theres a ton of players who won in high school and were the best player in the nation who dont make excuses. reality is lebron is an under 40% shooter from outside 3 ft and just over 20% in the final seconds. in a sense, yeah, hes making the right play. he should pass. since shooting the basketball, which is the most fundamental part of scoring in basketball, is his weakness.
Dude is 🗑️
