Reason for the incredibly negative reaction? How ‘bout a combination of the minuscule 1.8% odds for Dallas, the fact that the country has learned that virtually all of the conspiracy theories regarding COVID were true and finally that the level of government corruption goes far deeper than we could have ever imagined. Do you think that maybe that has promoted the “tinfoil hat” mindset regarding the NBA draft? Just a thought 😊
100% Fantastic job / analysis Ben … keep up all the outstanding really deep dive takes
How much pain will the fanbase endure? If they tank and trade the vets for nothing in return that makes them better, it will be several years before they make the playoffs. We've never seen a 7 to 10 year gap between making the playoffs since Larry Miller bought the team. And we've never had so many other high level options for sports here. Tanking so that we can at best end up drafting at 5 (and that's if we have the worst record, 6 7 or 8 if we don't) sounds like giving away all of your money in the bank down to your last 20 dollar bill and going to Wendover expecting to hit a jackpot on a slot machine so that you'll be able to pay your mortgage at the end of the week.
Youngsters have no clue about reality . Spewing idioticy
Personally, even after the horrific lottery night, I have more hope for the team now than I did at this time last year. We are at least going to draft a potential all star with VJ, Trey, Ace Bailey. I wish we would have gotten Cooper Flagg, but make no mistake, we are heading in the right direction.
