year five. It’s his fourth full season. Been to the playoffs every year. There’s the owner, Glenn Taylor. A man can coach and Minnesota’s got a squad. They are a worthy entry into the Western Conference Finals in 2025. [Music] Julius Randall has made his way to Lauren Jabara. Take it away, Lauren. He has. Thank you so much, BA. Getting all the accolades, Julius. This organization going to their second consecutive Western Conference Finals. You’re going to your first conference final. What does this accomplishment mean to you and your teammates? Uh, it’s great. It’s great. You know, we’ve had a season full of adversity and uh I mean, coach said at the end of the regular season, we didn’t do anything as far as trades or fire coaches. We just stuck together and uh we got through it together. Uh so, I’m super proud of our team, man. Everybody has stepped up in some type of way this year and uh we got win number eight. Got to keep going. I know you told me pregame [Music] Well, I have to ask about that guy right there. He had a playoff careerhigh 12 assists. You two just worked so well off of each other. How does he help to elevate everyone’s game around him? I told I said the other day, he the brightest star in the room. Uh anywhere he goes, all lies on him and it’s no different than on the court. So, I just try to make the game easy for him. Uh I try to push him, challenge him to go be great. He should have had three more rebounds. He stopped playing. Uh so I’m on him for that. But I mean what he does every night for our team is special and uh he’s only 23. Um so I mean it’s what he’s doing is crazy. It’s crazy. So I just try to help him out, you know, but he make the game easy for all of us to be honest. What he does is special, but what you do, Julius, is also special. You’re averaging 24 points per game in the playoffs this year. I know you came in with something to prove. You wanted to prove you’re a great playoff player. Chris Finch told us that. Tell us about your mentality these last 10 games, especially this series against a really tough Warriors team. I mean, honestly, I I don’t really like get into the narratives of having something to prove. I think the only thing I want to prove is I’m a winner. Um, every game I want to try to give my team the best chance uh to win. You know, that’s all I care about. Like I said, we got win number eight. We looking for number nine. Uh, whoever that’s going to be against, but it’s trying to stay locked in and focused and just help my team uh win every single night. It’s not about me. And I know your family gets a front row seat to the whole thing. Was it nice doing it in front of them tonight? And your good luck charm your daughter. Yeah. Yeah. My sons, my wife, they keep me hyped. Uh they also keep me humble. But uh yeah, man. It’s great. It’s great. I I love playing in front of them every night. They’re my biggest fans. They’ve been with me through everything. So, uh you know, everything I do is for them. Julius, congrats on the win. Looking forward to seeing you in the conference final. Thank you. Thank you. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause]

  1. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚β€β€JIMMY TRIED TO PUNK ANT FEW YEARS BACK WHEN MIAMI PLAYED TIMBERWOLVES. JB was shouting at the TIMBERWOLVES MNGMNT and owner in 2017 that they f@qckn NEED HIM.πŸ˜‚ WARRIORS traded DIVENCENZO to NEW YORK and NEW YORK traded both players DIVENCENZO and RANDAL. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚β€β€ THE IRONY OF IT ALL just WOW!!! The only time we have ever saw what JB can really do was when he was aggressively playing that day in MINNESOTA BECAUSE HE THOUGHT THEY WOULDNT EVER TRADE HIM . He stated for one season got traded to PHILADELPHIA played extremely well then they traded him after a season too . He’s a pass around now. (5) teamsπŸ˜’πŸ˜‚πŸ˜’πŸ˜’

  2. Julius is such a pro. Just wow, what a journey from the first 30 games where we were begging to move him at the deadline to now, where he is more important to lock down than Naz Reid and NAW. Just what a crazy trip. And Julius just keeps getting better, smarter and playing like more of an adult, each game, and each game wears on. Hes so much more locked in in the 4th vs the 1st quarters, and our teams needs an adult in the room besides just Mike Conley so badly. Hats off to Tim Connelly what a freaking genius.

  3. Great see Randle doing well. I remember watching his rookie debut game as a Laker when he broke his leg, felt really bad for him then

  4. As a Sixers fan. I wanted Randle so bad the year we signed Tobias to that bs contact. Always knew this dude got that dawg in him

  5. I like this version of Randle. He seems like he finally found what he wants to be in the league without even needing to be the first priority and shine much better.

  6. Great to see a guy who drives to the hoop and stays on his feet instead of a flopper who falls to the floor, yells foul every time

  7. Randle has been enormous for this team, both on and off the court – he and Ant are an incredible duo and I hope they play together for a long time

  8. Randle in the playoffs so far. 24 points 6 rebounds 6 assits on 51/35/89 splits. So far Randle has been a way more reliable 2nd star than Kat has in the playoffs.

  9. He's been a good player for years. But, KAT is 7 feet tall and shoots deep. I never thought it was a horrible trade. Not using hindsight, I wouldn't have traded KAT. But the organization is smelling like a rose. Team was looking good last year. Really thought they would make the finals. This year, I think OKC is the best in the West. I was wrong last year. Maybe, the Wolves will make the finals.
