With the way it’s looking right now, I think it’s safe to say that the Carl Anthony Towns and Julius Randle trade might be the most even trade in NBA history. But when you think about it like this, it’s like the Timberwolves, they needed a dog to go next to it. And honestly, Cat, that’s not Cat personality. Cat is not that guy. But that’s okay. Cat is good in his own way. And that’s what the Knicks, they needed to get off Randall at the same time. Randall, it’s time to let Jaylen Brunson sprout. It’s time to let Jaylen Brunson take the keys. Randall, you know, he’s beefing with the media just not everybody’s built for that New York spotlight, and that’s okay. Randall needed a reset. he needed to go somewhere that prioritize him to be that type of guy. And the Knicks, they needed a guy that can come in, mesh well with the group, that can spread the floor, be more of a reliable shooter that Randle just couldn’t provide. So the Knicks, like they have Brunson, but they just needed that last piece. They don’t need a guy that’s going to sit here and be taking shots from Brunson. They needed a guy that can go in there and mesh with Brunson. That’s what was Cat was. Timber on the other hand, they needed another brute. They needed some more force to go next to Ant. And I think both teams could still play each other in the finals. That’s still a possibility. This is a rare time. I feel like both teams are Hey man, thank you. We appreciate for doing business with it cuz like everybody wants to get fleece.
