  1. They can target Naz Reid 6'9 265 Minnesota, Luke Kornet 7'2 245 Boston, Nic Claxton 6'11 230 Brooklyn, Cam Johnson 6'8 220 Brooklyn or Kristaps Porziņģis 7'2 245 Boston.😊

  2. Add D. Harper
    R. Fleming and
    M. Reynaud to add depth and mirror OKC game plan. But if we can get Giannis for Vessel Johnson #2 pick 2 more 1st and 2 2nd I would do that and draft C. Bryant at #14

  3. I am going to keep pushing the following…..Fox, Castle, Harper, Wemby and sight N Reid (free agent) (Castle and Vassell can play small forward or three guard rotation. Use 14 to get a back up forward behind Reid. Not perfect financially, but much better than getting G. Building, while fitting in pieces.

  4. Take Harper and have your backcourt set for years. Then focus on getting Wemby help at PF and backup center

  5. The Mavs aren't sitting pretty. AD is always injured. Irving is out a year and may never be close to what he was before. He's declining fast. Their cap situation is bad, after the Flagg pick they'll have to get rid of someone like PJ Washington without taking salary back to get under the 2nd apron.

Add in they don't have draft capital from the trades and the stupidity of not getting a warchest for Luka. They're in bad shape going forward unless Flagg is the next Lebron

  6. Everyone worrying about Harper's potential fit with Fox and Castle act as though it will be a millstone holding back the team forever. If the Spurs believe drafting Harper maximizes the value of the #2 pick, it makes sense for them to do that and give the players the opportunity to figure it out. Their value will still hold up if any problems are seen to be due to the fit rather than the players themselves. Of course, the Spurs' salary cap situation has to be managed such that they will have the flexibility in the future to trade one of the contracts for other assets, but regardless, this is imo a classic BPA situation.

  7. What if Spurs draft Harper and the Jazz draft Ace. Then does anyone agree on a draft day trade for lauri markkanen and Ace and the Spurs would give Harper, Devin, Kj and the 14th pick? Because I would pull the trigger! Any thoughts?

  8. The James Wiseman pick was perfectly legitimate at the time, no one was freaking out about it. It was considered a weak draft, outside of Edwards anyone could've went anywhere. Few were raving about Ball and everyone passed on Haliburton.

  9. What Spurs need is more talent and if Harper is the best talent available at #2 then the Spurs should draft him.

  10. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist did not win Rookie of the Year, might be confusing him with Tyreke Evans who peaked his rookie season

  11. I can't stop thinking about that fact lately: 20yrs old Wemby was the top scorer of the Olympic Final.
    Not KD (15),
    Not Lebron (14),
    Not Curry (24).
    ….
    -Wemby (26pts).

Can you picture what's gonna be "Play Off Wemby" ?
    Damn.
