We had a big guard in Levert, all we needed and I said this all season before the trade, was a big stretch in the 5 like a James Wiseman (what happened to him?) because the Cavs were already top seed. Anyways it is what it is, what ever the team gets done for next will be addressed, can't wait for next season..

My two cents… All year we had points from the bench , why does that have to change because it's the play-offs. Do what got you here every man on that bench is able to play.
The Cavs have got to get tougher. I’d start by shopping Allen and Garland. They need a 2 way guard and a physical Big. Sign Steven Adams and or Bruce Bowen in FA and take a stab at Giannis or Naz Reid

The Cav's have a good core. The GM would foolish to break the team up at this point. They have a decent coach who is a proven winner. They have a superstar 2 guard, DG at 1 has improved lightyears over last season. 3,4 and 5 are top players. You don't win 60 plus games with a bunch of scrubs. Injuries plagued the team at the wrong time. Not just one player but two starters and a key bench player. The Cav's aren't the first 1 seed to be bounced in the playoffs. Lest we forget, The 72-9 Warriors lost to the Cavs in the 2016 Finals after being up 3-1. My only criticism of the Cavs is that they should have been prepared for the Pacer's style of play after losing to them 3 times the past season. The Pacers pushed the envelop on physical play and got few calls on it including at the end of pivotal game 2.. The Cav's either had no answer or refused to answer. That's the coaches fault for not making the necessary adjustment both during the season and the playoffs. That is an intangible that has to be addressed you bring there no matter what player you add. Hopefully they learned the lesson and will be prepared.
Core 4? Too funny Allen and Garland aren't any Core they aren't that good and if the Cavs bring back these 2 it'll be another wasted season!

Good news for the Cavs is we have two elite-level players in Evan & Mitchell to reshape the roster around. Might be best if they can get a little smaller int he front court and a little longer in the back. One thing's for sure, Koby Altman has never sat on his hands with this team, so expect moves to be made.
Would love to see a DG for Trey Murphy deal. Salaries don't match, so Cavs would have to take on more money (maybe Kelly Olynyk as a backup big?), and possibly throw in some draft picks, but this would be a great trade for both the Cavs & the Pels.

Cavs are marshmallow soft both mentally and physically. The core is good but they've had two shots in the playoffs and went out in the second round both times. Absolutely have to make some changes.

I thought I never say this but I really agreed with everything Windhorst said It seems he has softened somewhat on how he reports on the Cavs . A few years ago it was quite cantankerous. He is spot on we have to get some size on the guards . They can only take us so far which has been good . No the season is not a failure . There was improvement and much to be grateful for .

Stay still….NO MOVES!!!….seeing as you cant really get any quality players ANYWAY…due to the position we are in FINANCIALLY….but the biggest change needs to be running the ball …the ENTIRE OFFENSE …through MOBLEY and ALLEN…therrs no way in a CLOSEOUT GAME…that mitchell and garland should shoot 41 shot only making 19….while mobley and allen …at halftime….with a 19 point lead in the 2nd quarter…had like 18 shots and made 12 of them….again ….we were up 19 at that point in CLOSEOUT GAME!!!….ill tell you one thing….its very TELLING about donovan mitchells basketball iq…..its ALL HERO BALL for him….ESPECIALLY in the PLAYOFFS!!!….hell no….we have a passing big that can dominate games and hes a dpoy now…use em BOTH!!!…id love to see this team still with LAURI MARKENNAN instead of donovan mitchell…but with KENNY ATKINSON as head coach…i remember 2021….Cavs were dubbed TOWER CITY….lol…because of the 3 bigs….shih cray…this some Cleveland Browns shih….when they let Gregg Williams go as head coach and hired freddie kitchens and kevin stefanski…true story😢😢😢

The only move required is a head coach change. The games were played/planned incorrect. Players were way over and way underused. Also, a personality of fight and fire from the head coach would not hurt either. There will always be a lesser team that just matches up well against a better team, but playing correct will overcome.
