Jrue had a down year too compared to last year which makes him overpaid.. The deal boston made for jrue was great they also got an up year and less money.. I dont see Jrue having huge value right now given his contract and shooting i would have to be on the edge of a title

the celtics' previous owner spent like a drunken sailor (or phoenix sun) to win a championship and once he did, he saw the financial ruin coming and sold the team. winning an nba championship requires having one of those very special batmans like tatum, and beantown's batman is out for a year. it's delusional to think the new owner wants to pay $290M in luxury tax for a team without a batman and no real chance at the championship. the celtics will undoubtedly be looking to shed salary, and maybe will even give thought to how the warriors handled losing kd by bottoming out the next season only to win the title 2 years later.

It's really insane how much the media wants to break up the core pieces on the Boston Celtics. I haven't seen anybody online go so hard with trying to make trades for any team at the day lost in this year's playoffs. But since the Celtics lose, everyone is throwing out these trades and who should Go where and what not. I haven't heard anything or any trades involving Cleveland, Mavericks, Lakers, warriors, etc. ya really hate Boston badly
