The NBA Is MAKING This Indiana Pacers MISTAKE AGAIN…
So, we now know who the Indiana Pacers are going to face in the Eastern Conference Finals, and it’s none other than the New York Knicks. I think a lot of people are making a big mistake underestimating the Pacers. It almost seems like this Eastern Conference playoff, the team you expect to not win is winning, and the Knicks are heavy favorites. But should they be? Probably not, right? I mean, I am a Knicks fan. I’m a Colts fan, so this is kind of a weird situation, just like last season. It’s almost like I want the Knicks to win, but I don’t want the Patriots to lose. So, I kind of root for both teams, but I’m looking at this series and everyone I’ve spoke to that’s a Knicks fan believes that they are going, well, not everyone. N 90% of the people I’ve spoken to believe that the Knicks are going to comfortably win this series in four, five, six games, but I think this is going to be a long series and I think it’s really a coin flip, bro. I think the Knicks have a 50% chance to win the series. I think the Pacers have a 50% chance to win. I mean, this is the third seed. It’s the fourth seed. Both teams are very different. You look at the Pacers, they’re a team they’re going to press full court. They’re going to run the pick and roll. They’re going to push it in transition. Tyresese Hallebertton might be the most intelligent player in the NBA, like the highest IQ. I don’t know how to put that into a basketball phrase, but his vision, he just sees everything. He’s the clutchest player we’ve seen in the playoffs so far. And then the role players for the Pacers. I’m looking at the screen right here. I’m looking at, of course, Andrew Nemhard. I’m looking, of course, at You look at a guy like even a Ben Shepard that can come in and get hot from three. He gave the Knicks a problem in last year’s playoffs, but specifically it’s going to be the Wings and Aaron Nesmith and of course Obie Topphen and Benedict Matin. These guys are going to be a problem with their athleticism, their size, and their length. Nmith, I mean, he he’s probably going to end up getting the Brunson assignment. I don’t see Nemhard being on Brunson. Like, that’s barbecue chicken. Like, I’m being completely honest. Like, Nhard is not going to guard Jaylen Brunson. It’s going to be Nesmith and he’s going to have to step up and not get into foul trouble. And then he’s also going to have to knock down the open threes because he’s going to get a lot of open threes because Nemhard and Hallebertton are going to get to the basket and they’re going to look for him of course and the Knicks are going to dare those guys to shoot and they’re going to knock them down too. Um that’s the thing to keep an eye on. But specifically the reason why I believe the Pacers have a really good chance in this series, more of a chance than they’re being given credit for, it’s going to be Pascal Seakum. Knicks fans do not want to hear this, but he is going to be absolutely unstoppable in this series. You look at his size, he’s 6’8. I thought Seiakum was legit like 610. I thought he was a little bit taller than 6’8. Um, what’s his wingspan? Let me uh quickly do that. 7 foot three. Yeah, I think OG is going to have a tough time defending him. Tatum, he doesn’t play like Seakum. Tatum’s more of off the dribble type of guy, but Seakum is just pure strength. Go to the basket and once he gets down to his spot, he’s unguardable because of that 7 foot3 wingspan. He can shoot off of the dribble. He can shoot out of the post. He can attack the basket and he’s going to get guys into foul trouble. But really, Seakkum, he’s going to be an issue. Hallebertton’s going to be an issue. But I think the one guy that’s going to give the Knicks the most trouble is going to be Miles Turner because he can shoot the ball. I mean, he shot at 40% in the regular season. Let’s see what Turner and how he’s done in the playoffs, right? I don’t know if I can find that. I can find that. He’s Yeah, he’s shooting 45.5. Uh, that’s against the Knicks. He is shooting He is shooting 45% um from three in the playoffs against the Knicks. 45.5% um in two games. That is absolutely insane. 20 points, seven boards, three blocks. I mean, Miles Turner is one of my favorite players to watch just because of his ability to protect the rim in the stretch of the floor. He’s also an underrated passer. I mean, he’s averaging in the playoffs 1.3 assists. Nothing crazy. It’s not like he’s averaging three assist, but Turner, he could throw the back door pass. and Cat is going to have to go out there on the perimeter and defend him. And the Knicks are going to have no rim protection, which means that Hallebertton, of course, and Nemhard and Seakum are going to go essentially five out and attack the basket and nobody’s coming to help. And if you do, it’s an open three-point shot. So, the Pacers, I believe they’re going to be more challenging than Boston. The Celtics, they won 60 games or I think 61 games at the top of my head. They won last year’s championship. The Knicks absolutely just stun them, but they’re in for a reality check when they go up against the Pacers because Indiana, I don’t think they have more star power than the Knicks. I think even the most diehard Pacer fan listening right now would agree the Knicks have more star power, but the Pacers have significantly more depth. And I mentioned this in my my Knicks video. Like, go look up Nicks Daily. I have a Knicks channel with like eight or 9,000 subs just about. I said that in my latest video is that you’re sleeping on the Pacers if you think this is going to be a four or five game series. Like I’d be willing to bet a lot of money that this is not a five game series. If it’s a if it honestly if it was a five game series, I think the Pacers would win in five games. The Knicks are not winning this in five games. It’s going to go six games, I think. Six or seven, maybe even seven. I could see it going seven. The Pacers are legit. They have so many ways to attack the Knicks. They’re going to wear them down. They’re going to fullcourt press. You can’t just have Cat stand in the paint. Like, nobody’s going to be able to help defensively um for the Knicks to be honest. And we saw against the Celtics, like the Knicks got away with it because they just didn’t make shots. Like you look at games one and two, the Celtics couldn’t make a three. Game, what was it? Game five in the second half, the Celtics couldn’t make a three. And then game seven or game six, uh, am I am I getting my dates wrong? Yeah, game game four, I meant to say. Game four, I’m getting my games wrong. Game four, the Celtics in the second half couldn’t make a three. And then game six at all, they couldn’t make a three. The Pacers, though, they’re going to attack the basket. They don’t rely on the three-point shot. Like, let’s go ahead and look at their latest game. 114 105 of course, which was game five. They close that out. See, the Pacers were 15 of 35, which is 42.9%. But the point being is they took 35 threes. That’s not a lot of threes. The Celtics usually are shooting about at least 40, maybe even get up to 60 shots. So, you look at 82 field goals, 17 to 22 from the free throw line, 22 free throws. That’s a lot of free throws, man. Um, for Indiana, of course. Hallebertton shot six of them. Turner shot four of them. Seakum shot five. And then N Smith shot three. Um you look at their bench though, they play one, two, three, four, five guys off of their bench um at least double digit minutes, which I actually love that. Normally teams shorten their rotations in the playoffs when games start to get more competitive. But the Pacers are are legit playing a starting five off of their bench and it’s exciting, too. And I like Ben Shepard. He could shoot the basketball. A Pacer fan said that I look like him, which is kind of hilarious. I don’t have a face cam for this video, but he’s not wrong. I kind of Let me look at Ben Shepard’s face. I could kind of see it to be honest. I could kind of see it. Um I don’t have a beard though. He has a beard in that pick. I didn’t even know Ben Shepard has a beard, bro. I mean, I knew he had facial hair, but he has like a full beard going there. That’s kind of crazy. Um but yeah, going back to the Pacers though, I’m looking at Benedict Matin, who he was not good in game five, but I think a lot of that had to do with the foul and and how that sort of transpired. I think against the Knicks, he’s going to look like an absolute man possess off of the bench getting to the basket and he can shoot and he’s athletic. Like Ben Mathan’s a really good player, man. I like him a lot. TJ McConnell is going to be T.J. McConnell. He’s going to get the Jaylen Brunson assignment. He’s going to be a pest. I hate TJ McConnell, but I mean that in like the most respectful way possible. It’s a it’s a compliment that I hate him. He’s he’s a really annoying player. He he’s kind of like he’s just a much better Patrick Beverly. Like I don’t know if that’s a a good analogy, but he just absolutely he’s basically like Pat Bev, but like actually backing up what he says. And McConnell, I mean, he’s going to have this this team absolutely ready to go. And once it gets to game three and four in Indiana, he’s going to have the crowd fired up. TJ McConnell could be the X factor. Like we could look back at the Pacers win the series and say that they won because of TJ McConnell. I’m looking at Thomas Bryant 11 minutes. Uh he’s just going to be in when Miles Turner’s off. Like Turner played 33 minutes. Yeah. I mean, and then Bryant played 11. So, and that’s kind of the thing. And then the minutes he’s not out there, you got Obie who can kind of play like a small five. Yeah. Obie Topphen. I mean, he’s going to shoot the ball. He’s going to get a lot of rebounds. He’s going to attack the basket. The Pacers have a good team, bro. Like, this is an NBA Finals level team. And they’re only going to get better because they’re young. Like, this is a young Pacers team. I mean, it’s not not the Thunder. They’re not that young. But, I mean, Hallebertton has to be I think he’s younger. Yeah, he’s 25 26. So, he’s younger than me. So, yeah, Hallebertton is is young, bro. He’s 25 years old and he’s in backtoback Eastern Conference finals. If they steal game one, I’m going to be very, very worried. Like, if the Pacers win game one, they’re winning the series. If the Knicks win, I mean, that the Pacers lost game one last time around. So, maybe that’s not really true. I’m going to be honest. I would have preferred to play the Cavs. Like, I’m I’m going to be completely honest. I think the Cavs would have been the better team just because the Pacers in the playoffs get better and better. They like the clutch time. They like the bright lights. And Cleveland, they just they got worn down, man. I mean, you could tell that just emotionally they were broken and then physically they were drained.

Pascal Siakim is good but unstoppable? I don’t think so. Obi Toppin? Yes he can shoot, but grab lots of rebounds? Since when. Teams have been trying to wear the Knicks down all year and here they are in the ECF, so I really don’t see that happening. Keep in mind last year you could put Nesmith on Brunson since the Knicks didn’t really have other threats. This year you put Nesmith on Brunson, You put Halliburton on Hart, is he keeping Hart off the boards? Remember last year all the Knicks size( Robinson, OG, Randle ) was out, this year they may only go 7 or 8 deep but they are bigger and they can shoot. I know you’re trying to be objective but you discounted pretty much everything the Knicks do well. The Knicks are favorites because player for player their starting lineup is better, pacers have the better bench, but how much are you resting your starters anyway.
Nembhard has improved as a defender ten-fold since last season. I expect Nembhard and Nesmith to split the Brunson assignment
Siakam has been sleepwalking through the playoffs so far. If he doesn't wake up and get aggressive against the Knicks it won't be good for the Pacers
Calling it they split at Knicks and Pacers in 5.
It will be Nembhard and Nesmith on Brunson. Don't sleep on Nembhard. He's the best on ball defender this year and last year he had to carry the offensive point guard role in this series bc Hali was injured. Pascal should do better in this series, but Toppin is the wildcard at that position bc he's still salty that they traded him.
Knick not heavy favorites dumbazz
knicks are gased, pacers sweep knicks
I was completely surprised that Stephen A picked the series to go seven. I'm picking Pacers in six. I can completely see this series going seven
There's two things that make me question the Knicks. They're averaging 106 pts a game during the playoffs. They have four games where they scored under 100. I know it doesn't really mean anything, but the Pacers have been a top ten defense, since Jan 1st. They've been one of, if not the best offense during the playoffs. They're averaging 117 pts a game. They've scored over 100 in every game. If the Knicks don't average over 110 a game, I don't see them winning the series.
The other thing is that they've played two more games, than the Pacers. The Pacers can very easily run them ragged and gas them out. If the Knicks don't control the pace from the jump, they likely don't win the series
Heavy favorites???? Get real😅😅😅
They won 1 more game than Indiana.
We're deeper, better shooters, and a great coach….Pacers in 6
You say the knicks have more star power. That's bs. No indy fans don't agree. Brunson haven't done anything yet nor have the rest of the knicks. They've been no better than the pacers. You say they have more star power because you've bought into the bigger market bullcrap. New York has to players that are potential superstars kat and brunson…thats it!
Knicks have more star power? Both teams have two players who have been all-NBA. I’ll take the Pacers overall roster any day all day..
Knicks were 10-23 in the regular season against playoff teams. The Pacers 22-17. Pacers are just better.
As a Pacers fun, I would love it if the Knicks take them lightly! The Pacers are SO much fun to watch! And they are playing their best basketball right now. They're deep, talented, and play a fast paced game. I'm looking for the Pacers to keep surprising everyone!
Nembhard is most definitely getting the bulk of the Brunson minutes
Knicks won’t be able to keep up and will be gassed by game 6. Hicks in 6 baby!!!
My mans got cod zombies music in the background W
pacers will get killed by the refs…. NBA dose NOT want the pacers in the finals. it's going to ruff on the pacers to beat the knicks and the refs. AGAIN.
Pacers in 5
What is “star power”? If you mean the Knicks get special treatment from the refs at home, then yes, they have star power…
The Pacers need one win in NY. Doesn’t matter which one.
Cant wait for this series to start!
NY also had DiVincenzo lighting it up off their bench last year. The starters can obviously produce but now you need to get scoring from Duece McBride and Mitchell Robinson
You lost me when you said TJ is like Pat Bev. Bro, thats insanely insulting.
Knicks fans always say sweep i had some give me death threats after last season i hate knicks fans. I was rooting for Boston because i didnt want to hear knicks fans tell me how trash hali is everyday. Not saying pacers are gonna win or lose. I know this pacers are very very very under estimated.
Ohhh and dont sleep on t.j mconnell
I thought you were a Knick fan ?
