Owners better not mess this up
The so called war between Masai and Edward Rogers is waaaaay overblown…..It was NEVER about Masai. It was all about the Roger's Family, Eddy, his sister and his mother. I don't believe there's any animosity between the two…..
If Rogers wants more control, he will screw the team into the ground, just like he has with the Jays.
He will bring in a corporate buzzword, yes man like Atkins and ignore the complete incompetence that will follow.
He ain't leaving – he's building something special for himself as well as his community back home and Toronto gives him all of that and then some.

Picture the Warriors after Steph Dray and Jimmy retire. They will be in a 6 year rebuild, we gave the championship guys a chance and it failed miserably (2nd round vs Boston was nice though) and now we just had a 2 year recoup. It hasn't been that bad at all in the grand scheme of things, Masai will be fine

We’ve been down this road already with the Wizards and the Knicks. Every offseason another team joins the list. When you have a good track record teams will have interest in your service. Having interest is one thing but it’s that person having interest back that actually mean something. . I’m sure lot’s of teams have interest in Giannis as well. The question is does he want to play there 🤷♂️

Way back I worked for Rogers Cable and at least Ted Rogers, was a small minded "power owner" who ran the company like it was a small business. Poor management, poor people skills, disorganized, with lower tier incompetent managers. MLSE with the exception of the Raptors, have been run with the priority on profits, which is reflected by a lack of championships. Do not underestimate Ted Rogers playing some petty game and loosing Masai and likely Bobby as the MLSE cartel already owns the only NBA team in Canada. Beware, Canadian NBA fans!
