Steve Kerr UNDER FIRE by Fans…
Folks, is Wednesday’s game the last time we will see Steve Kerr as the head coach of the Golden State Warriors? Friendly reminder, he has his contract lined up with Draymond, Jimmy, Steph until the 2627 season. Do I have it right here? Yep. You see right there, Jimmy Butler Green, all bird rides 2728. All finally year the deal 2627. Now, he’s under a lot of fire from pundits today on ESPN for how he’s handled the Jonathan Kaminga situation around 20 plus points per game since he came back in the lineup. Did not play and the season beginning of the Houston Rocket series. How he handled the lineup especially potentially that third quarter with four bigs. Wolves were on a 170 run. Is he contributing kind of like JJ reic people said to the downfall of the Lakers against the Wolves. Now Steve Kerr’s downfall, we got sound bite from him postgame on what his thoughts are. I have a crazy brand the Pajki stat for you that shows his shooting performance which has been bad is historically bad at one of the worst ever if not the worst. here from Draymond and Kaminga as well on this episode of Warriors Digest. The morning after the loss, down 3-1 to the Wolves, going back to Minnesota for game five. Randy Silver, Arthur, we have all the news for you. Please subscribe. We got postseason news, we have free agency news, we got trade news, we got offseason news coming up, draft news, you name it, we’re here for you 247, just not during the season. So, let’s go to the main man, Steve Kerr himself. Why does he think we lost this game? It’s pretty obvious. Then we have to get to the BP thing because you not want to miss it. Ant got going and um you know we decided to to uh go to a bigger lineup with JK and Trace Draymond Jimmy um just to try to slow them down and uh slow Ant down and um obviously didn’t work. They they kept scoring and we couldn’t score. We just lost our ability to connect the game there in that third quarter and they got loose and that was a difference in the game. And folks, if you didn’t watch my postgame recap, you can see it. But again, look at the third quarter. Trying to zoom in for you. 17 points to giving up 39. We have to hang our hat on defense. Giving up 39 in the quarter is not gonna win you the game. And again, look at halftime. We were right there with them. Up four the end of the third quarter down 20. Up four, down 20. A 24 uh two, excuse me. That is a 22 point swing in one quarter. That’s a record for the Wolves in the playoffs. That’s terrible for us. And one of the reasons why you look at that is we go to play by play. Let’s look at the third quarters, folks. Just look at the Warriors right here. Could not make a shot. Missed. Look at that. Everything was missed from behind the arc. Sorry. This is Wolves. Wolves, excuse me. Warriors could not make a shot. Wolves made one, two, three, four. I broke it down in the video. A bunch of threes, got a bunch of turnovers, and was going quick. Now, we tried to slow him down, but you look at a player like Brandon PJsky who needs to play big at point guard with Steph Curry out 04 from three, three of 14 shooting. And folks, I’m about to show you something that’s about to blow your mind. This is terrible. Pumpsky is shooting nine from 40 from the field in four games this series. per Josh Dau AP. That’s the worst of any player in a series with 35 plus shots since Pero Antic shot 16.7% for Atlanta in 2014. So let’s look at the chart. Pajki is tied with Trevor Reza nine of 40 22.5 worst field goal percentage of four game playoff span single series second round or later last 50 years 10 field goal attempts per game. Ouch. That means he’s basically making two to three a game. You see another warrior Harrison Barnes and that that cost us honestly. But if you look right here, Arza, same. Barnes, same. Basically 23%. You see other names in there. Nick Van Axel, great shooter. Eric Bledsoe was Klay Thompson. Yeah, that one hurt. That one hurt. That’s the King Series. No, 2023. No, it wasn’t King Series. I forget what that was. But you can see folks that it’s not a list you want to be on at all. Dylan Brooks is on here and that is costing the Warriors especially when you don’t have Steph Curry playing. The other thing costing the Warriors as well, Jimmy Butler was supposed to come in and be Rodman. Rodman, excuse me, Robin needed to be Batman. He only took nine shots. Give the Timberwolves defense credit, but he was not aggressive and he’s getting lit up on social media, TV shows for not doing it. Is he healthy? whatnot, but it’s a big loss when you don’t have Steph who can open the floor and get those 20 30 points a game. Jimmy’s not getting his 30 aggressive and BP is not making. Moody has fallen out of the lineup. He can’t make a shot for his life. He finally got points in the series. Quinton Post was making shots for us in the second half of the season. He’s fallen out of the lineup because he looks like he’s lost as a rookie in the playoffs. Fair enough. Buddy has games, but he’s not doing it here. So, where’s the shooting coming from? Kaminga 23 points, but he’s a slasher. 02 from three. He’s not going to get you potentially 40 or 50 like that. So, it’s a tough tough thing for the Warriors to deal with. But Kaminga, give him credit, has the right mindset. Even with what he’s gone through late part of the season, the playoffs, he still has a positive attitude. Mindset in there. Now, uh the mindset and mood’s still very high. Uh we’re keeping our hopes, you know, uh we’re keeping our energy, our vibe still gray. Um well, cuz we all just got to go get that one. Uh but I think everybody’s mindset is very it’s good. Nobody’s down mindset in there now. Uh, I like that he said that, but you could see in the third quarter the mood was down, the mindset was down. People were hanging their heads. Draymond, not going to play it. You can read it. This is what really matters. They got it going, aka that third quarter, and we were never able to put out the fire. Got to give them credit. It felt like they were due for a great shooting night. It sucks that was tonight. Well, partly our defense and not scoring. When you can’t score and you give them boundless opportunities, it’s tough. Steve Kerr on Jimmy, he wasn’t aggressive tonight. Didn’t see a lot of openings either. But again, sometimes you got to make your own shots and then things will come. And then when other team like BP’s not scoring, then cool, they can double team Jimmy or focus on him because they don’t have to worry about Draymond three, BP making it, whoever is that second, third score. Steve Kerr did say he thought that Draymond was really good tonight. I agree in terms of him pushing the tempo, his energy, hiso approach on inbounds, fast breaks, whether it was he was trying to get going fast versus playing halfcourt offense. He had a tough time on defense against uh Julius Randall, but you know, nobody could really stop him. So then it comes down to can our Batman come and play for us? Do we try to push him too early? No, we not gonna Superman this thing if if if he’s in a place where he could play. I’m sure he will. And him and Rick and everybody will figure that out. But we don’t need Superman. Got to play the long game. So if he can, we know he will. But there’s no pressure. We got got to figure out how to win whether he play or not. I agree with that. Do not push him any harder than he needs to because you’re down 3-1. Maybe if it was 33, you think about it. But what happened to Kevin Durant? His calf injury of course came back 200. No need to lose the following season because of this playoff series. This was a luxury. We made it here. Honestly, with Steph Curry, the way we played against the Wolves, if we had him, we could be winning this series and going against OKC or the Nuggets. And then you seen the East Jason Tatum wish him all the best what we could have done against either the Knicks, the Celtics, the Pacers, the Cavs. There was opportunity here kind of like in 2022. No real dominant team in the NBA this year. However, we cannot push ourselves and lose next season side of that. This team will be retoled probably better fitting the Jimmy Steph Draymond combination. You have an offseason to make it happen. So, let’s not mortgage the future, which we did to get Jimmy for today, and really ruin that mortgage future because Steph is out for a full year. Warriors fans, comment your thoughts, subscribe. We’ll be here for you through everything you need to know, any update on Steph game, postseason, playoffs, and off seasonason. See you soon.

KERR IS WAY OVERRATED.
No one here reqlizes pods.is the only other pg option on the team. hes having trouble with the shot cause hes not as good at making his own yet hes only year 2. but best believe theres a reason a 2nd year rookie is leading stephs team. he has incredible potential and if his shots fell we'd be winning the series. terrible time to fall off yes but is he bad for the team, not at all. Anyone else besides steph or dray can't even bring the ball up the floor.
Hope so can’t stand him.
No it isn’t. The warriors don’t have enough talent without Curry
Podz and hield should sit down if they are having a bad game. I don't understand why steve kerr has so much love for this two. PLAYED more minutes when they both cannot produce ? GUI SANTOS is also a good shooter and defender. Time to have a new coach for the warriors.
The best off season move from the start is to get rid of Kerr and Podziemski.
Fire Self-righteous Ker. He is continually playing 3 and 4 short guard lineups. And now he panics and inserts TJD after benching him for many weeks.Too late. Santos makes one mistake and he's on the bench. Can't stand watching the Golden State Guards.
rockets were too rough
they also played wayy too long each game
Steve Kerr is the most overrated coach ever! He should have been fired 2 years ago!
Podz has choked.
steph is different thats it, if steph not in usa team will they win the gold?
I really think Kerr has a problem with some players instead of coaching them he makes it personal look what he done to Jason Tatum,USA could have lose the Olympics because of Kerr personal vendetta against Jason Kerr excuses didn’t make any sense and it’s the same thing with JK. I think it’s time for Kerr to move on.Kerr was given a Cadillac warriors team by Mark Jackson all he had to do is enjoy the ride now the Cadillac has new engine parts and he have no clue how to tune it. We need a new coach period.
totally scripted….Evidence: THEY ARE READING ANSWERS FROM A PIECE OF PAPER!!!!!
Kerr cannot develop new talent rather keep them demotivated and confidence-less….put all eggs in one basket and then in another…unable to sync and optimize talent around him
Fire the guy with 9 rings and replace him with Doc Rivers 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Kerr NEVER could coach he got lucky and came in on a killer squad and didn't have to actually coach.. now that the team is trash his coaching decisions are terrible, why tf does he keep playing podz I can shoot better than him.. State needs more better consistent shooters and a experience big that can shoot the 3 to help stretch the floor.. post is good but has to get better on D but still should play before LOON which cant shoot for shit
Kuminga didn't play because he was terrible; not Kerr's fault. Also not Kerr's fault that Curry's too old to go to war and too rich to care: It's an elim game and you're being paid as much as Curry, you play if you can walk. Butler, Green … they're all hurt but they get themselves on the court. Curry went from Batman to NotMan, in my estimation.
He’s not a good coach when Stephen isn’t playing. He’s literally a .400 coach. He’s stubborn and hates tall athletic players. He’ll rather play little guards who can’t guard or shoot. When he goes big he throws an unathletic, offensive/defensive liability Looney out there.
If Kerr trusted JK and gave him more minutes and involvement during the playoffs, JK could have helped Warriors edge out a win in game 2, 3 , or 4 instead of facing elimination with an opportunity for Curry to come back in game 6.
hopefully we get a new HC next season
Way before playoffs Kaminga waa there both player then he got injured then never got to play again. Kerr has no idea who is a good player .
Kerr and crew are Steph dependent they can’t, they are mentally unstable
Bring back Mark Jackson.
San Antonio is gonna call, his buddy Greg needs a coach. This is gonna give Lacob an out that makes everybody happy. It’s gonna be a mutual breakup. W’s get a new voice, JK gets the rope he needs, and Steve is gonna be in a winning situation. The alternative is the W’s trade JK and their future for Giannis. It’s one of those choices. If Steve stays JK goes..
Podz is garbage he should be in a office
Let's read between the lines. Maybe there are other reasons that Steve doesn't play JK more often. The fans and pundits don't have all of the information or simply don't understand what makes a player useful on the floor. I used to say the same about Wiggins, mainly because I liked him. But we can see how very good a healthy Butler is, how well he plays with Green and Curry (and JK) in the Warriors style.
When he's asked about JK, Kerr is a bit terse and alludes to issues like "being ready." Like most fans, I love watching JK, but he does turn the ball over, his decision-making isn't always the best (he tends to hold the ball as he sizes up a defender), and his defense lags.
However, at this stage of the series, and given JK's high shooting percentage, I'm sure he'll play more tonight, and perhaps start.
Podcasts like this one seem bent on stirring controversy to add drama, instead of considering issues behind the scenes and elements of the game besides scoring and excitement. In a recent game, I believe JK had zero rebounds, for instance.
Who was bitching while they were winning down the stretch? Kerr mentioned the formula that was working, I love Kuminga, But some of you are delusional if you think that this is Kerr’s fault, don’t give up fans, Both Steph now Jimmy are hurt & you want to say it’s Kerr’s fault. They still can win tonight, Remember Minnesota scored 51 pts in a quarter a short time ago, Minnesota can also have a bad shooting night. Let’s pray that Jimmy & the Dubs can do it tonight, bring it home for game 6, ✌️
Poole or Pods?
I don't always like Kerr but we do have Four rings and probably should have 6🥇🥇🥇🥇🥈🥈,
Take it from a warriors fan since Sleepy Floyd, Run TMC, Sprewell& Antwan Jamison up to We Believe!!!!
Do your homework. Jimmy was playing while Ill that game.
The Warriors played a good game. They weren't able to match the Timberwolves beyond the arc, especially in the 3rd.
Year after year after year people tried to get Kerr fired but to no avail. Kerr could do no wrong in front of Lacob, doesn't matter what the stats and records are. He's been a Dub's coach since 2014 and with Steph and Dray backing Kerr, there's no way he'll be fired. Kerr is practically a second father to them. No matter how bad Dubs are, how dated his plays are, how he loves to play with small balls, etc. Let's face it. Unless Kerr steps down voluntarily or due to health reasons (like Papovich), we're stuck with him 99.9999%, and probably with another poor season in 2026, which will waste another year of Steph's efforts. Really? Having Draymond a 35 y/o at 6"6" playing the 5 (center) for almost the entire season just proves how utterly ridiculous it is. Maybe that's the reason why Dubs have so many fouls blocking shots and going for rebounds because Dubs' are all "effiing" too short! Unless Dubs get size, length, consistent shooters to help Steph and Butler, nothing will be learned from this season ending series and history will repeat itself next season and beyond.
This man should be fired he cost us a championship
I have been saying for 3 years that we need to trade our aging stars for a game changing youth draft pick if we could. I do not see us winning next year either.
STEVE KERR NEED TO BE FIRED ASAP !!!!!!!!!! JOE LACOB WHY U DON'T SEE THIS OPEN YOUR EYES
Bring Back Brown, let Steve Kerr go !
If the Warriors wanna Win another championship, Steve Kerr got go, Bring Back Brown 💯☝️😇
Kerr the type to dnp a player after he drops 30 lol
Tired of Kerr for 3 seasons now…. trade Green, Podz, GP2 for the Greek Freak and get coach Mike Brown back! If to keep Kuminga, and need more salary trade Butler also, he is just a Robin, cant be Batman when needed.
Successful coaches are stubborn Kerr's obsession with 3 pt small ball is passe. They have needed a big forever, no adapting by the Dubs. Live and die by the 3 doesn't work!
Well, this last game, podz tried to play like steph.. the warriors found a perfect pg to play along with steph or if he js out… then they trade him away for a bag of peanuts.. i also blame that steph curry doesn't want any competition at his position… ever wonder Why Green punched poole in the face? Coming off a year where if it wasn't for poole idk if we win that chip… why would green cuase this? Curry wanted poole GONE! Old jarret jack was a beautiful backup for us, boom hes gone.. why do you think bazemore never wanted to play with the Warriors lol we traded away DLow for andrew Wiggins.. chris paul was a joke… shuan livingstin worked perfectly because there wasn't competition, shawn did a great job at coming off the bench and managed the game and kept the lead… Anyway next year we need a third scorer! Not moody or podz but a guy that will come in a get you 15 points with 4 ass.. aaaaand can shoot make his free throws! Theres no excuses to be under 80% in the nba!
Thank God none of the Warriors organization listens to fans you people are too emotional to make proper decisions. Because honestly I can bet my life that none of you can coach a nba team. It's not like 2K.
Kerr never gave the young players a chance to develop. He seemed to have something against Kuminga. He stuck to the older players and his small ball. That doesn't work anymore when other teams have younger, more athletic, and bigger players who can shoot 3's. Kerr should be fired
