So, if they were able to somehow, this is the Mavericks, trade for Kobe White coming off of a career season while still keeping the first overall draft pick, Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson, Anthony Davis, Daniel Gaffford, and Derek Lively. Yes, this would be an absolute steal for them. Like, trade away those future draft picks. Trade away Washington and Hardy. This just doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. if you are the Chicago Bulls. First and foremost, you’re trading away a player who’s coming off of his career best season in Kobe White this past year. So, you would have to think that his value would have to be a little bit maybe overstated uh than what it would be in the past. But in this deal, you still get the draft Cooper flag. You get Kobe White, who in the interimm would be a more than capable replacement for Kyrie Irving. Once he comes back, maybe you bump Clay to the bench. This team could look absolutely scary. So, if Nico Harrison were to able or was was able to pull this off like Mavericks fans should get back on board, this would be one heck of a team for the 202526 campaign. If you’re the Bulls, like you finished strong. You were such a fun team to watch. You have some young pieces. I understand wanting to retool. In this case, you’re getting back draft capital and two really solid players in their own right like Jaden Hardy, PJ Washington. solid players, but don’t trade away a player’s values at an all-time high just for the sake of it, unless you’re getting back, you know, the first overall pick, which won’t happen, of course, or maybe some of the big men or whatever. But why would they do this? So, for these reasons, I think without a doubt the winner of this deal is the Dallas Mavericks.
