Should the Warriors trade for this STAR?
All right, so the Golden State Warriors season ended last night and I think the Steph injury kind of masked the fact that while this team can absolutely contend for a title, they have some serious issues and they need to make a big move this summer. So just hear me out. Sorry fans, but Giannis ain’t happening. You guys just don’t have enough to get him. But what about Damont Sabonis? He would instantly be the best center Steph has ever played with. He’d be an offensive engine to ignite these guys in the half court. And I think next to Draymond, his defense wouldn’t be as much of an issue. The Kings could get Moses Moody, Jonathan Kaminga in a sign and trade, maybe another player, and two future firsts that could end up being very valuable. It’d be a little weird seeing these two teams make a deal, but who says

From side of kings its dumb trade because if they do this trade they will have to rebuild otherwise what would they do with 2 forwards plus thier forwards
This lowkey makes sense for both teams. Dubs get a double double machine in Sabonis (imagine Curry running around with both Green and Sabonis setting screens), and the Kings get out of the Sabonis contract, get two young players, and get two 1sts.

Because the Warriors need 3 point shooter who can space the floor and make space for Curry butttt they need a rebounder and also need a rim protector who has size and can’t score on him easily because the warriors got exposed in both series due to that. I think if Post could gain like 20 pounds of muscle and develop him defensively and improve his good 3 points shooting that would be perfect
Sabonis is not a winner, this would make Steph ask for a trade to Charlotte.
As a Kings/Sabonis fan, this hurts to admit, but this would be the ideal trade for the big man. Imagine the screening and passing ability of Sabonis on the perimeter along with his rebounding down low for the Dubs. It would be SO fun to watch IMO
