The San Antonio Spurs having the number 2 Pick in the upcoming draft puts them in an interesting spot. Do Spurs Trade For Giannis Antetokounmpo or do they Draft Dylan Harper to pair with Victor Wembanyama and De’Aaron Fox.

It's reported that they are keeping both picks. As for Giannis there is still no word that he is available until he says he wants out this is all just speculation…
fox trade was different since we barely lost any pieces from that .A 2 time MVP in his prime is different. Gonna screw up keeping the young core in the future. Cap space is so different now

I’d say take Harper at 2 and make a push for Durant for our 14th pick and couple first rounders makes more sense. We need another veteran and Durant will make an awesome front court weapon alongside Wemby.

Spurs are not trading Castle. They prefer longevity. They will draft Harper and probably trade Devin. Spurs don't mortgage the future for short-term winning. They are the class of the NBA because they believe in homegrown talent. The last big move they made before Fox was Lamarcus. Go Spurs Go!!

Spurs should draft Harper at #2 and trade Fox. I believe Harper has more long-term upside than Fox and the Spurs will get back more than they paid for Fox and avoid an expensive extension contract. Giannis, is basically a replica of Wemby and so it doesn't work out. Steph Castle is still unproven. Take Harper and see what he can do and then go from there.

Everybody talks about Cooper and the Mavs when the scarier thing is giving Wemby (21) a jumbo high IQ creator pg in Harper (18). Those two plus Castle (19) and Sochan (21) is easily the league's best young core 4. And they still have tons of draft capital to continue building around the Alien. Fox can mentor both Harper and Castle. All they need now is a decent backup physical big and their rebuild is finished. They can take care of that with the #14 pick and/or a trade. The Spurs owns the future and won't jeopardize that by getting Giannis and empty their assets and financial flexibility. The Spurs like playing the long game.
