   I had the Cavs going to the Finals this year. It is over for the Cavs with all the contracts coming up. This was their window.

   I don’t see them returning to this level ever again. They got their heart ripped out of their chest so badly that the only way to get back here would be to upgrade some pieces and to overpay.

   not a cavs fan but yall should be concerned since your team isn't missing a superstar like the celtics and warriors. i think if it's too unclear on what moves to make with the roster, is the coach solid? nuggets and grizzlies fired their coaches months before the playoffs. might be worth checking out.

   As a Jazz fan who still loves Donovan, this was like rewatching his 2nd to last year in Utah when we had the #1 seed in the league. Brutal.

    I ride and die for this team man and it hurts to say this but all the belief I had in them to win a championship is gone I don’t believe in them anymore it’s the same thing every year with this team and when we had a open lane to the finals this year and we lose in the 2nd round to the pacers and lose every home game is even worse ! As a Cavs fan we gonna continue to be the joke of the nba and be called a regular season team this is embarrassing!

    First year you can honestly say they underachieved on expectations. Yr 1 the roster wasn't there, yr 2 they ran into the Celtics that eventually won the title. This year they lost to an inferior team.

    Went from cavs in 4… to pacers cant shoot that well every night, to blaming refs and injuries, then it was cavs in 6 now it's time to give indi our flowers

    If the injuries play as as big a role as Cav fans are saying, they wouldn’t want to break up the team. They would be saying run it back. Odds are we won’t have these injuries next year. Fact is Pacers gave you a smack down. Good ol’ fashion whuppin and now your questioning your core

    The focus next should be getting the right squad together, with the right mentality and healthy as possible.

    Just get 6th seed minimum in the regular season. Mature teams know that it doesn’t mean anything.

    The reality is that every team but 1 will be a loser this year. However, if we made it to the ECF & made some noise in the next round, the loss would feel validated, vindicated and we'd be hopeful for next year.

    Not making it past the 2nd round is the same exact thing Utah did out west with Donnie. Cleveland is certainly not looking to be the Eastern Conference's version of Utah.

    Idk man, I'm not sure what the issue was with Indiana. Donnie did all he could, the boys were banged up. We do have a huge upside with years and years left on these contracts.

    I think it only gets brighter from here but there's definitely something missing. The '04 Pistons were good but it took Rasheed Wallace to make em great. We need the toughness, reliability, durability and defense of '04 Sheed. Anyone got a time machine?

    Altman is probably going to have to look at shaking up the roster. The good news is we have two elite-level players in Evan & Spida to reshape the roster around AND some very good pieces to move & get a very good return for. Moving JA & DG to get a little smaller in the front court and a little longer in the back is likely. We even have some decent bench pieces to move too. The possibilities are really endless, but we have Evan, Donovan & Kenny in place. I trust Altman to make these tough choices.

    I enjoyed a lot about the Cavs regular season but after the trade for Hunter Kenny chose to remain starting Max Strus a G league starting 2 guard at the 3 undersized in the NBA for the rest of the regular season and heading into the Playoffs I also felt like the Cavs were not going to win the Championship this season because of Max Strus starting at the 3 because it meant to me that Kenny Atkinson was willing to compromise his team to start off games because Max Strus isn't a starter on any Legitimate Championship Contender and Kenny Atkinson was supposed to figure out how to acclimate him into the starting lineup so the problem of getting abused at the wing position to start games wouldn't happen!
