Bam makes a ton of sense. I’m not sure that Miami would actually covet Reaves so perhaps a 3rd and/or 4th team would get involved. Miami just did a FIVE TEAM trade shipping out Jimmy so it could happen. Bam is owed roughly $200M over the next handful of years so I’m sure that would be accounted for..a return for Bam could look like the return for Towns. Basically 2 or 3 solid vets and one 1st rd pick.
I’d look at the Raptors who like Rui, and one of the many teams that have shown interest in Reaves over the years….Rockets, Spurs, Pistons, Nets, etc. Raptors could send Poeltl to Miami and Lakers would send Knecht and Gabe Vincent back to Miami as well.

Lakers offseason movies shouldn’t be what fits best with Luka. When they won the title in 2020, those’ players weren’t the best fit around Lebron and AD, They were players that had particular skills sets that helped the Lakers win. To me if the Lakers had Drummond and Schroeder they would have been better off. Sometimes you need a certain skill set for a certain team. When Golden State won the first title, they were successful playing small ball until they ran into the Grizzlies hand were getting killed inside by Mark Gasol. They (broke glass in case of an emergency) Andrew Bogut, who was able to slow Gasol down to help them when series. To me, the Lakers need to follow the 2019/20 roster model. They probably had a much better cap situation due to trading basically everyone away but Kuzma and Caldwell-Pope, for Davis so they couldn’t just replicate that roster build, but they need to get those type of players.
